I stayed on day for work. I was working nights. The gentleman at check out had mentioned to the other staff to keep me separate if posible so I may sleep. Well, not 3 hours into my stay and a handful of little kids showed up and ran up and down the outside stair for 20 minutes. That's not the best part. Aside from the clean, and pleasant room the walls are extremely thin. I heard the neighbors where the kids went late at night till talking about the sexual fun they were having. Word for word, di... This is the first time I had stayed here since the property changed over from being Homestead Suites. There were some updates and changes - most notably the serving of breakfast. The location is good, just off Glenwood Avenue and near the Crabtree Valley Mall. Check-in was easy, and the staff member on duty could not have been nicer when I lost my key card almost immediately, while unpacking my car. The room was spacious and clean. The bed and pillows were comfortable. Everything in the kitc... Read more

This was one by far the nicest extended stay motel that I've found. Good location, pleasant staff, and a very nice room. I was fortunate enough to have a room on the first floor and close to the lobby (if only because it makes helping myself to the continental breakfast easier to do). A good sized room, and the kitchenette is a real bonus, though I doubt I was the only one staying there for that reason alone. Ridiculously cheap with a promo code, I can't imagine staying anywhere else if you'... Read more

I stay in hotels worldwide over 200 nights per year. This property has a fantastic staff. Professional and friendly. Very impressed. The rooms are clean, quiet and parking is ample. The only dings are that some outside areas need a little paint and the laundry room did not have all machines functional. But, for the price and location, a great value.

The room was nice and very clean. The customer service when we checked out and checked in was outstanding. He was very polite and answered all of our questions. We missed the continental breakfast in the morning and he was nice enough to give my daughter a blueberry muffin.

We where flying out early on a Monday morning, so we decided to get a room at this location so we didn't have to leave our home so early. The pictures online look good and the entrance to the parking lot for the hotel looks great. As soon as we pulled in the parking lot of the Hotel we observed a man and woman sitting down in a parking spot drinking a 40oz beer, which didnt really bother us, but it looked kinda of suspect. Anyways, I went inside and got checked in, the gentleman that helped m... Read more

My Fiance and I came to Raleigh for a family event and were to tired to drive back home so we decided to stay over for one night. This hotel was close to the the family event and we thought for the price we couldnt lose. We thought the room was clean but soon as we sat on the dirty comforter we noticed stringy blonde hairs on the bed. Cigarette burns om the spread and this is a non smoking facility. We were to tired to change the rooms so we threw the linen off the bed and laid on the sheet.... Read more

We rented 2 rooms. Our room had a leaking toilet, water ran from the bottom onto the floor. Then the flush handle broke...We were given another room that smelled like they were trying to mask smoke orders. The window in our daughter's room would not lock. She had to ask for a dowel to wedge in... Her room also smelled...She had no toilet tissue, when she went to the office again no one was there. We gave her our spare. Bathrooms needed a good cleaning....if we had not used Price line and it was ... Read more

We had a pretty frustrating experience here, with the exception of one fantastic employee. The first room my husband, baby and I were put in had no blanket on the bed, and about a 3-foot puddle on the kitchen floor. We were put in a second room and told we had to be out by 9 am, so they could paint the sidewalk outside our door. We could return to our room at 1pm. We then discovered a 4-inch patch of black mold on the bathroom ceiling; the air conditioner didn't work, the stove didn't turn o... Read more

When I arrived at check-in, I was told that my room would not be ready until the next day, that I had booked. Was put in another type of room. Dirty room, no dishes. If they had not already charged my card, I would have left, and returned home. I have used other extended stay type hotels before, but will never use Extended Stay America. This is the first time I have done a review of a hotel.

This was one of those "mystery" purchases from a website that didn't tell me the name of the property until I paid (a discounted price). Well, it turned out to be a big mistake. We checked in late after going to a hockey game at PNC arena and if it had been earlier I would have found another hotel. Ceiling paint was peeling off in the bathroom. Mold was growing in the sink. Trash was in the parking lot. My pictures will give you an idea of what I am talking about.

I took advantage of a two month deal here as I just relocated to the area and started a new job and wasn't able to move into my new home yet. I got a really good feel for this place. The Good: Recently renovated, had kitchenette, and the price was right. I can also say the front desk staff was amazingly friendly and receptive. The Bad: For starters, previous tenant's bread was left in my cabinet. It got much worse. The exterior garbage pails by the stairs were often overflowing and smelly. The wa... Read more
