Location is great - easy access to local highways. Across the street from Trader Joe's and other good to great restaurants within easy walking distance. Stayed there for over 6 months while working on a project, Exceeds Marriott's standards. Wonderful interior courtyard. But the real distinguishing factors are the staff & management! They all called by name every week. I often had my left over luggage in my room when arrived. I was also often escorted to my room if I arrived late in the eve... Read more

I was in Raleigh for a training for business for 5 nights, and found the staff and hotel to be very nice. The room was comfortable and had everything that I needed for the week. I enjoyed having the bistro on site which aloud me to get my coffee in the morning before heading to the office and a drink before heading to bed at night. Over all I would highly recommend this location, it's 4 miles from Downtown and the property was well cared for.

This is an average Courtyard Marriott. Looks renovated even though its an older property. It was clean and well maintained. Location gave us easy access to business, restaurants and retail. Traffic is not bad at all in and out of the property.

Back a few years when I traveled a bit, these were the best places to stay for your money. There was free breakfast and free or low cost evening light dinners like taco night. Not anymore :-(. The facility was clean and for the most part well kept with the exception of my room, 285, had a slow drain which meant standing in water while showering. Breakfast eggs were not good and food was a little pricey. If you typically carry several items and need to make more than one trip, make sure you ar... Read more

Traveling on business is not always easy, being a hotel that serves those that travel on business is also not easy, especially when the hotel has a water pipe break and you have to shut off the water! I must say I was VERY impressed with how the hotel handled this inconvenience and made the issue seem like such a non-issue. They weren't frantic, panicked, or out of sorts, they simply communicated a lot with us guests about what to expect and when to expect it. I encountered one employee in-parti... Read more

The Marriott hospitality can be felt from the moment you walk in. The staff at this location is very friendly. The hotel is a typical courtyard, no surprises there. The location is very close to downtown Raleigh and peaceful. The hotel parking is terraced with a the majority of parking at the ground floor room level but you may have to walk up or down from parking to get to the front door upon you arrival. Breakfast is bistro style so you will need to make sure you allow some extra time since i... Read more

I travel about 100% for work ?? therefore, I live in a hotel room more than I do my own home. I am a Marriott member and have stayed in courtyards all over the United States. The CM Raleigh-Midtown is wonderful! The staff is incredibly friendly. The fitness center is bigger than most courtyards. I have been traveling here for about 12 weeks straight and they have taken such good care of me. They always book me in the same room (home away from home). Everyone knows my name, they ask my specific... Read more

When I say that they say the standard for all courtyards, I totally mean it. This hotel is phenomenal and ultra clean. The staff who cleans deserves tips for the level of service that they provide. Staying there every single time. ;

This hotel has the best rooms they are clean spacious and the bed was super comfy. We only stayed one night so we didn't get to use all the facilities but they had a nice outdoor pool and fitness room. The only downside was no free breakfast maybe this is standard for all courtyard by Marriott hotels though.

The staff is excellent. The grounds and landscaping are excellent and make the stay more enjoyable. it's, truly, my "home away from home". I'm treated like a family member. Ida on the front desk is just great and takes care of me every visit. Jose and the Bistro prepares excellent food and are very courteous, kind and efficient. My room is always cleaned up very nice. This is your typical Marriott - clean, good service, and updated. This is our 2nd time at this hotel and I'm sure we will be back soon. I only wish they had earlier service for breakfast. If you have a 7ish flight out of the airport, it would be nice to grab a hot breakfast at the hotel before leaving.

Excellent hotel. Always very clean and hospitable. Location couldn't be better- just off I440 and across from a shopping center with Trader Joes and Burger Fi, what else do you need! Most recent visit we experienced wonderful hospitality by the entire staff, especially the Manager Roscoe. Excellent place to stay!

Stephanie works at the cafe in the morning. She is warm, friendly and very efficient. I was very impressed by how quickly she moved the line and how she warmly greeted each person. It was early in the morning and she was upbeat and her smile was contagious! Jose also works in the cafe and he is very professional and polite. They make a good team and are certainly two employees that make Marriott proud!

It's the second time I've stayed here in the last few months. Reasonably priced. Immaculately clean. We come to visit nearby family with the kids. They had a 'Finding Dory' challenge when we got here. The pack and play in the room had a squeezy bath toy. They also provide outlet covers, night lights and baby shampoo and lotion if needed. We also had adjoining rooms by door of parking lot so we didn't have to lug kids and luggage too far. On top of all that, the staff is extremely nice a... Read more

Just a pit stop on a road trip, but the nicest place we stayed. Outdoor pool, beds were very comfortable, staff was friendly and helpful and there was a starbucks/restaurant place in the lobby that had great food for breakfast although a little pricey. Check in and out was fast and simple.

Upon arrival at the hotel, I was greeted warmly by the concierge Alexander Molina and was shown to my room by the operations manager, Stephanie Brinkman. After settling in, I decided to take a dip in the pool. Not realizing that I had accidentally locked myself out of my room, I went to Stephanie for help. Her and her operations supervisor, Roscoe Lawton were more than happy to help and had my room open for me in a jiffy. Not only were these individuals extremely accommodating, the night time st... Walked in and was greeted by Colleen, a beautiful young professional woman that mad us feel right at home. She helped us find restaurants and get numerous taxis. We were down in Raleigh visiting a strategic customer and had purchased a Western Stetson for him. We asked if she knew of any stores where we could get the Stetson Box gift wrapped......better yet, she introduced us to Rhoda Sowers who was the Operations Manager who was a specialist in Gift Wrapping. Stayed over for 3 days and was very impressed the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff, the cleanliness of the room and the entire hotel, and the great pool area. The latter has a large pool, plenty of poolside lounges, and really nice landscaping. The breakfast was excellent and reasonably priced. Location of hotel is very convenient, 3 miles from the heart of downtown Raleigh. The staff here clearly take pride in their work. Highly recommend.

Very professional staff. Rooms are clean and the bed backs up to the bathroom and offer more space and privacy. Our room opened to the courtyard where we had two chairs and a nice patio. The room was clean and modern. The hotel also has a nice bistro with drinks and food. I would recommend this hotel for families, couples and business professionals.

This one needs to have their rooms updated or be dropped by Marriott. Damp and musty. Smallish room. Halls don't even feel like they have conditioned air. Will not stay at this one again unless I get notified they have updated. Check in also argued about the rate that was booked by their Platinum line.

Stayed non-business for 4 nights visiting family, bluegrass festival. Room was comfortable, great amenities thru the hotel, if you excuse those coffee packs in the room. The combo of good eating and locally sourced breakfast items in their dining area surpassed the plastic. Rooms are roomy, quiet, up to date.

Staying at this hotel was a wonderful and positive experience. We stayed here because when visiting our son in Raleigh, Hurricane Matthew caused a power outage at his home. Phillip, the front desk agent, was outstanding. He was helpful, understanding, friendly and made our stay so much more enjoyable. He was patient upon check in and continued to be throughout our stay. Our room was very clean and quiet. The hotel had wonderful amenities, good location for our purpose, and we would stay here a... Read more

The hotel rooms were clean. I liked the pillows. The thermostat was a little bit quirky, but we dealt with it. The Bistro in the lobby was quick and severed a sufficient variety of breakfast options. They also serve drinks in the evening too.

My wife and I were in town to attend a wedding and chose to stay at the Courtyard by Marriott. It was easy to find and was close to attractions and shopping and the wedding location. This location was exactly what I expected from Courtyards. The hotel was clean with helpful staff. The room was clean and the bed gave a good nights sleep the 1st night. The second night there was a problem with partying in the next room. I called the front desk and the noise quieted down, but soon started again. Wh... Read more

My wife and I were in Raleigh to attend a friends wedding. After checking in we were not satisfied with the quality of our room and after relocating a few times to different rooms, Rhoda, the Operations Manager went out of her way to make it right and to keep us from going to a different hotel. She took ownership of the problem and did her best to make it right. Looks to be one of the original Courtyards. Great staff and remodeled lobby, a workable gym. The rooms are functional and clean if a bit noisy. Their is a small eating area in the lobby. It has some surprising good food with healthy options. The highlight for me is probably the staff. Great folks who go out of their way to make your stay comfortable.

Our daughter was married this past weekend in Raleigh. Because our entire family lived in other states, we needed a hotel so we booked this location because of proximity to both the church and reception. We had a large extended family coming in town including 8 little grandchildren. Upon our arrival, we were greeted by sweet Ida who welcomed us. She was professional and kind. When we wanted to add on a suite to have a large gathering space, Jeremy Schmeissing, the event specialist, handled ever... Read more
