Great clean, comfy bed, great long hot shower, great hot, fresh coffee, great breakfast, great view and location, easy beach access directly across street with a crosswalk, nice & quiet, only thing that would have made my entire survey a 10/10 was the fact that pool is not heated (which I knew when I made reservation) but was told that Hampton uses solar "balls" to heat pool, which I did not see in use in the 4 days that I was there, but we took a quick dip in anyway and hung out every day. Definitely stay again. Staff wonderful. Breakfasts really good. Clean and updated rooms. Our room had long sofa/chase as well as mini kitchen, so plenty of room. Granite counters. Pool area nice and well kept. Must walk across street to beach, but could see ocean from room. No balconies, but view was beautiful.

The facility was a typical Hampton Inn, clean contemporary and comfortable. Check the layout of the room. I had a King Suite and I did not like the fact that the bathroom only had a shower and toilet. There was no sink in there you had to come outside of the bathroom to was hands or brush teeth.

Great location and a professional, courteous staff. It's a typical Hampton Inn so a 2-2 1/2 star rating is the same. Other than the less than the standard tasteless breakfast buffet it a good hotel. Easy access to beaches across the main road, short distance to Morehead City & Beaufort makes for a convenient location. Parking is limited in front so plan to unload your vehicle at the front entrance.

I went as a chaperone with a school field trip, and stayed in a room with 3 girls. The pull out bed had rusty springs sticking out; lampshades by the bed fell off when touched. So it definitely wasn't great. I think our room was an anomaly though; other chaperones said their rooms were good. I wasn't crazy about the sink being outside the (tiny) bathroom, but it did make it possible for there to be plenty of counter space for shampoos, toothbrushes, etc. Across the street from the beach, an easy... We were visiting family who live in Indian Beach year round. Ocean front is not necessary as my sister's condo is ocean front. The bed is very comfortable, good pillows, excellent a/c, a small refrigerator, and well appointed office space. I am an early riser and I particularly like the coffee station at the door to the elevator. Hampton Inn's fresh brewed robusto coffee at 5:00 a.m. can't be beat! We had a great 2 night stay this past weekend. This is a nice Hampton property with good sized rooms that include a sitting area and kitchen area (no cooking, just refrigerator and sink). The hotel is right across the street from the beach which is an easy walk across a marked cross walk to a boardwalk that takes you to the beach. We were booked to stay for one night only, so that we might connect with our sons during their very limited time off at a camp nearby (they are counselors). We checked in on a Sunday afternoon and only needed our room as a base for a handful of smelly teenagers to come and shower from a day at the beach and to rest in an air conditioned room for an hour or so before taking them out for dinner and family time. We had never been to Atlantic Beach and this hotel was recommended by friends. The only reason I did not give it a 5 rating is that it is across the street from the beach, but not a long walk. If you stay and want to see the ocean, ask for a room on the front of the building, 3rd or 4th floor. Breakfast was excellent, rooms very nice, and welcoming and helpful staff. Being HH members, we always have a room ready upon arrival. We arrived here around 1:30 on a weekday and no room was ready. We were reminded check in time is 4:00. No problem, we would head to the beach for awhile. The lobby was packed with other guests who had arrived earlier than anticipated as well. Those guests happen to fall in the teenage range and were acting as such. Several of the girls were in the restroom changing into beach attire - not a problem, that was my intent as well. The roo... The Good: Across the street from the beach, location is fine but there is nothing really withing walking distance except the beach (stores, restaurants, etc). Breakfast was standard Hampton Inn, very crowded and noisy but they had three areas to sit so it was manageable. We had a mini suite with a king bed and sleeper sofa. The room was perfect for us as we had a space separate from the king bed area where we could set up our twin boys' beds so we didn't have to go to sleep at 8:30pm when the boys went down. The room was spacious too. We weren't tripping over everything. We could actually walk around and play with the kids in the room before bed. A very nice room.

The hotel is across from the beach which is easily accessible. A little difficult if you have small children as you have to cross the road to get to beach. Its a beach hotel so you get a beach hotel. Our hairdryer blew up and burnt up the first use and made the room smell. It was replaced with a new one but nothing else was done. I would've thought they would've changed my room or upgraded me in some way.

Around 1:30am Sunday, July 31, the fire alarm sounded during my most recent stay. There's no way to tolerate the alarm, so you cannot ignore it, even if you're deeply asleep as I was. Evacuating to the hotel parking lot, I watched emergency crews roll-up and pour into the hotel to assess the alarm and situation. The one thing this hotel gives you is a beach stay with time to get in the shade and relax. The privacy as well as 'not' having to see what everyone on the beach is doing adds to this hotel; in short you may go to the beach and possibly even find an area to yourself(or your family) then return to a quiet room and you are 'not' subjected to poolside or beach noise and voyeurism which many hotels seem to almost force on their guest.

A very clean and well kept hotel with modern rooms. Very quiet rooms with very comfortable bedding. Staff were friendly and helpful. While not a beach view, public beach access was just steps away. Would definitely stay there again.

Good location for us. We enjoyed visiting the area on our day trips. Hotel was clean, very nice complimentary breakfast, popcorn snack and coffee bar. Inviting lobby area and gathering area outside. Hotel staff very friendly and welcoming when we would pass by. Offering suggestion of restaurants from the morning breakfast lady was helpful Last night 10/15 the night desk girl even went out of her way to go to the kitchen to get us some milk. That's what you call good customer service. Thank you.

The Hampton Inn is not on the beach, but has beach access across the street. Rooms are quite standard. No restaurants really close by so bring your own snacks, sodas, etc. grocery is a couple of miles away but there is is a dollar store close. Much less expensive Then some on the beach, if you were willing to walk. Reasonable for the price. Good people support the mile of hope, a special weekend for children with cancer and their families. That alone deserves public support

The hotel is a 5 minute walk from the shore. The night we arrived, they had just baked cookies. It smelled and tasted delicious. They did this every night we were there. The breakfast is enormous and complimentary. Room was clean and neat. Included a kitchenette. Bathroom was too small for anyone in a wheelchair, but was fine for us.
