This was an excellent choice for a three day weekend trip. I shared this room with one of my dear friends. Very comfy, very roomy, excellent housekeeping and front desk staff. We really didn't want for anything! The room was large. The kitchen area was a real bonus. Lots of counter space and a nice large bathroom with excellent water pressure in the shower!!

Can't say it will be my last time at Candlewood, but I didn't love it. I'm a high status member of IHG and didn't recognize the little things such as there isn't daily maid service, you need to bring your sheets and towels to the front desk for replacement (if needed). The walls were thin and the people above were easily heard as they walked on the floor each morning. It's designed as a "extended stay". The rooms were roomy with high ceilings (1st floor). The pillows were new but not broken... Read more

This was my first time staying in Mooresville, NC as well as lodging at Candlewood Suites. This will not be my last time staying there. You are greeted every time you walk past the front desk, everyone is very friendly. We were staying at Candlewood for a wedding, and received a discount rate with your wedding block. The rooms are very large and spacious, equipped with a 2 burner stove, coffeemaker, dishwasher, an ice machine inside the freezer of the fridge (It's always nice when you don't have... Read more

Nice hotel, very quiet area. This is a clean and newer hotel. There was no breakfast provided which would have made this a super value. The staff was very friendly and helpful. All in all, we would recommend this hotel and would stay here again if we return to the area.

We travel to Mooresville a lot on business and the HGI started to get expensive so we tried an alternative. There is no restaurant or bar but the facilities are excellent. I travel with my husband and we both had room to work on the desk area with laptops and paperwork spread out. The kitchen was great for breakfast and snacks and frankly - if we wanted a drink, we just purchase it from the local grocery store and stored it in the fridge. Saved about $50 a night plus whatever we didn't spend... Read more

We arrived with our service dog Jackson and had an absolutely wonderful stay! Plenty of pet area to walk! The hotel is quiet, clean, and the staff is professional and super courteous. Everyone greeted you with a smile whenever you walked by. No breakfast provided but you have an equipped kitchen area with full size fridge and ice machine, 2 burner stove, dishwasher. Housekeeping is weekly so you need to go to the desk to get new linens if necessary. Quiet area but close enough to the highway or ... Read more

We were there during race week. So parking was almost an issue. What I mean by that is one person park their truck sideways and took up three spots, one person took up two spots so they could BBQ in the parking lot and one nice three spots were taken by a pontoon boat. Their were spaces available but not at the most convenient of locations. This is an extended stay hotel so there is weekly room service. But the room itself was clean, very well stocked with a full kitchen, including a dish... Read more

We stayed here for two nights on vacation. The staff was super friendly and rooms were very clean. The location was great and we were only minutes away from Jr. Motorsports and others. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again. They are easily five star quality.

I can't say enough about this hotel. I stayed for 2 nights and even though there was a mix up at the beginning of checking in, it was completely overshadowed with how amazingly they handled it and promptly!! I couldn't have been happier and a huge shout out to Tiarra, she was super professional and personable. This hotel's customer service is top of the line and I couldn't have been happier. Thanks again Tiarra for being such a stand-out on my visit.

We stopped here while taking a road trip from New York to Fl. This was by far one of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed in. Location was a little off the beaten path but EXTREMELY nice, comfortable and safe. Mores ills is quite a cute little town, didn't have much time to sightsee. Talking about riding our motorcycle up and I would pick this hotel without looking anywhere else!

I often stay here on business. It's affordable and clean and one of the only hotels that aren't directly along the highway so the rooms are much quieter than any other locations nearby. It's the newest of all the hotels around, so I think it's the most up to date amenities. It's also very nice to have a refrigerator and kitchen when I'm in town for multiple days.

Stayed at this hotel for 5 nights and found it adequate for our needs. The rooms were very clean, well maintained and large enough that you don't feel like your in a closet. They have a snack room for purchasing small items but do not offer any hot food or breakfast service. There are a few restaurants within walking distance. Free use of a washer / dryer and free movies and wi-fi were convenient. The pool is indoors, so not so good for sun worshipers. Parking lot is large and was able to accom... Read more

We stayed a night over labor day weekend and this was a great find. We booked online and when we arrived we discovered we booked the wrong night. The very courteous lady at the front desk made the adjustment to that night. Rooms are very clean and have all you need.

This was a great place for a quick working trip. My husband and I traveled here from Virginia so my husband could take an 8-hour class at a neighboring (but very pricey) hotel. My first area of disappointment was my own fault - I overlooked the exclusion of a continental breakfast. We were disappointed to wake up and realize we could not get breakfast in the hotel without paying the hefty prices they charge for eggs ($4 for 12), oatmeal ($1.50 per package), etc.. And we had not factored in enoug... Read more

I was looking for a reasonable hotel to stay in for a few days while I helped a family member relocate in Mooresville. I travel frequently for business and was looking for a Hampton Inn but there wasn't one close enough . I booked for three nights. I was extremely pleased with the hotel. Entire property was spotless. Our room was equipped with a kitchenette ,which included a full size refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave and two burners. Plus well stocked with basic utensils and dishes. Upon arri... Read more

My husband and I stayed one nigh only. I must admit I was plesently surprised by this place. The staff was great, very polite and helpful. The foyer was really nicely set up. Everything was realy clean. We didn't use the gym or the swimming pool. They also offer complimentary laundry services at the hotel. Our room was on the first floor with a little kitchenette. It is very modern with basic dishes if you want to use it. Includes dishwasher, microwave, fridge, etc. We didn't use a... Read more

Super nice staff, excellent home base for all of my work meetings scattered throughout area. This is an extended stay property so just FYI in terms of amenities. Modern and clean, bathrooms could use a bit more help in the tub area but nothing to deter from otherwise great stay. the huuuuuge desk was my favorite.

The hotel is clean, the location excellent and the staff accommodating. The rooms are large and I LOVE the huge wall "desk" as it provide not only a great desk, but places to eat or just set down all your stuff. This hotel has a lending library where you can check out items like games, blenders, etc, just about anything. You can also check out DVD and there is a canteen of sorts which is not really well stocked with a variety of things but does have 24/7 free coffee. This is definitely the place... Read more

Really nice helpful staff. The room was a nice size. The room was also clean and did not smell. The bathroom was also a nice size. You have a refrigerator, microwave, and small cook top in the room which was nice for leftovers. The bed was very comfortable. They do not serve breakfast but they do have good coffee available. The only thing that I did not like was that it was pet friendly and the dogs barking through the night. Other than that I would stay there again.

Wow, this is such a great place to stay if you are on your way to FL with an animal. The staff is friendly, the rooms are very big with all amenities, the beds are comfortable and there is a great place to eat across the street. This place is a very easy place to stop as it is right off the exit and very easy to get back on when you are ready to leave. Your pet is welcome here for a minimal charge. Absolutely a great place to rest and get on with your trip the next day!!!

This is a really nice hotel. Great staff, clean large rooms but I have one issue. My room was on the second floor facing the front parking lot, and they have a bright light that I believe is on a flag, that shines in the room all night. To maximize this issue, the curtains do not close that would darken the room. Otherwise, it's good, but I would not stay on that side of the building again.

This was our first stay at an "extended stay" facility, so we were a bit surprised that housekeeping was not provided daily, a fact we found out as we returned to our room at the end of the day to find our towels still on the bathroom floor, and the bed not made. Might be our mistake, not sure anyone ever told us this was going to be the case, and the night Manager was pretty snippy when we brought it to her attention. Kudos to the check in folks who helped us out of a booking jam...we had to... Read more

With the approach of Matthew and with little advance notice, we had a mandatory evacuation from our home in South Carolina. We needed a hotel where we could go with our cat and 2 dogs. We were very fortunate to find the Candlewood Suites in Mooresville. The staff was so sympathetic and friendly and took such good care of us. The room was comfortable and clean. It's so nice to know that if and when we have to evacuate again we have a place to go. We wouldn't want to go anywhere else.

The hotel was nice and very affordable. The rooms were very clean and spacious. This hotel is primarily for longer stays rather than just an overnight stay. The one thing that I missed was the continental breakfast included with most other hotels.
