Great place to stay. Everyone and everything was top notch. Lots of things to do and use in this hotel. I would definitely stay here again. The price and value matched, also easy to access and convenient to the places we were needing.

We stayed in a beautiful suite with a king-sized bed and large sitting area with couch, desk and TV. Everything we needed to be comfortable was available. Free coffee and snacks were always downstairs and they have a great hot breakfast with waffles, oatmeal, sausage, eggs, fruit, muffins, etc. It was a great experience!

Excellent Hotel Excellence Staff Excellent Service We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The dining room was a family gathering place which we enjoyed. Breakfasts were excellent with many choices. Coffee available most of the time. Cookies daily were especially appreciated. Staff was helpful.

We made reservations in order to see the All Star race. We picked this hotel, sight unseen, based on the online reviews. I was nervous because we ended up traveling with friends, so 2 more families, both with kids, ended up also making reservations here based on my say-so. This hotel was very clean. The staff was super friendly. The breakfast had a nice array of choices. The room was 2 queens on the first floor. The room was very clean. It even smelled clean. The bathroom was also very clean. There was no dirt on the floor, the tub was clean white, no mold. I highly recommend this hotel.

Very clean, quiet rooms. Good location for Monroe airport businesses. All rooms have microwave and fridge. Free wireless Internet worked as advertised fine for browsing and email. Large exercise room with newer equipment including treadmills, cycles, weights.

Had a great time. It was clean, bathroom was nicely done. Maid staff was very friendly and made you feel at home. Right off the main strip so lots of food options available in the area. Outdoor pool was also nice.

New renovations and is very modern. Staff is awesome! Heavy traffic area but not hotels fault. Breakfast area very clean. Stormy weather prevented us from using the outdoor pool. Cookies were fresh! Would go back if in the area. Little drive to the city but when not rush hour you hardly notice.

Price point is at the top tier for the quality provided. Staff is mostly friendly. Rooms by elevators are a bit noisy, but not during sleeping hours. A/C really works in room. 72 setting felt like an igloo! 3rd shift staff are really cool and knowledgeable of entertainment in the area and are open to sharing what they know.

Clean rooms, good fresh breakfast, far enough from the main highway to be quiet and cookies in the evening made our stay very enjoyable. But the best selling point of this hotel was its staff. The breakfast area and breakfast selections are great, and there was no shortage of breakfast items during our 3-day stay. The afternoon reception is in the same area off-lobby as the breakfast; if you are vegetarian don't both with the reception snacks (pre-made finger food with meat). One of the few Hilton properties available in the area, so I make it a point of staying here (I'm a Gold member) whenever I'm in Matthews. The staff is awesome and the rooms are always clean and fresh. The hotel is showing some subtle signs of wear, but it is always a pleasant experience.

This hotel was recommended to us so we decided to give it a try. We were very pleased with our room, comfortable bed, nice clean white bedspread. Bathroom was very clean. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The breakfast supplied was very good, with a different choice for a hot breakfast every morning and we were there for five mornings. Overall a very good experience and we would definitely stay there again.

My family of five are regulars at Hampton Inns when we travel. The one in Monroe lived up to the standards we have come to expect. Everything was very clean and the staff was very welcoming and friendly. As always the breakfast was delightful and filling with helpful and accommodating kitchen employees. System was off-line, so had to do manual check-in, no HHonors credit and no perks since verification could not be made. Only stayed for 4 hours, slept on one side of bed and used wash cloth next morning, easy maid service, lol. Also could not login to internet as HHONORS status could not be verified. But clean room, comfortable bed, really all I needed.

Beautiful hotel, with friendly staff. Very clean and nice. In a good area. A little pricey I think for this area. Traffic on road in front of hotel is terrible. We stayed here as a group for DMA Nationals for baton/dance competition. They were very kind in getting breakfast earlier to ensure the girls could eat each more. Would highly recommended this hotel for a stay for business or pleasure. Room was clean and very quiet.

Great hotel for the price close to restaurants and movie theatres. Will stay there again next year when we take my son back to football camp. Only complaint was the pool could use a little work. Otherwise highly recommend.

The Wi-Fi situation really blew me....There wasn't any point of going back to pay for the premium Wi-Fi because it still didn't help or work. Rooms were okay and very clean. Almost died slipping in the shower but I bounced back( Thank you Lord!) Cleaning and cooking staff get 5out of5 stars. The front desk staff get 2.5 out of 5 stars. We stayed here overnight as group of 7 for business in the area. Check in was a little slow due to the fact they were running behind on preparing rooms for the day. The staff was very apologetic for the delay. Sam, the young lady that checked us in , and out the next morning, is a real people person, and an asset to the establishment. If you are in the area it is a nice place to stay.

This hotel was just what I expect from the Hilton brand: clean, comfortable, friendly staff, no issues. I only stayed one night for a college visit so I didn't need much. The only thing I would've enjoyed during my visit is a hot tub/Jacuzzi. If visiting Wingate or this area in general I would definitely stay here & wouldn't waste my time going anywhere else!

This place was great! It was clean, the size of the double queen room was spacious. We were able to easily fit a twin air mattress in floor so kids didn't have to share a bed. The rooms are very clean and comfortable with all amenities. I enjoy the Hampton Inn and would recommend to others. The rates are a little higher than preferred but rooms are in high demand at this time. The hotel sits back off Highway and easy to drive by if you don't spot Roland Drive.

Booked this room with Honors points. I appreciate that Hampton inn's are predictably heart, clean and well maintained. Nothing worse while traveling than to be surprised with an unexpected problem. Won't happen with Hampton! Cookies were still available when I checked in around 8pm. I like checking in on line and being able to pick the room.

Room was ready immediately on arrival. Very clean. Friendly staff. Great breakfast. Have me a comb because I left mine at home! Loved it and would definitely go back. Bed was comfy and since it was hot outside... air conditioner was awesome, I got so cold I had to get up and turn the temp up.

The hotel is an average Hampton Inn that could use some updating. The room was clean and comfortable. There were restaurants close by. The breakfast was standard Hampton buffet. The staff was friendly. The one thing I did not like was that there were two tables outside about 25 feet from the front door. There were several men sitting out there smoking and consuming alcohol. This made me uncomfortable as I was walking through the parking lot to check in.

Older Hampton Inn that needs an update. Nothing here was memorable at all. The hotel was very busy with groups and only had one front desk agent on duty our whole stay and they were completely overwhelmed. The breakfast room was extremely dirty, food in floors, overflowing trash. Breakfast was normal Hampton Inn fare, but found this location to be sub par in presentation. I typical stay in a Hilton or Embassy Suites, and so this should have been equal to such in my opinion. But the value just wasn't there, and I wouldn't stay there again for what I paid. I expense my rooms with my company, and so I really shouldn't care about the value. But, I am especially cost conscious when I don't think I got what I paid for. I would stay there again if all the other Hampton and Hiltons were booked solid.

We did a 2-night stay during what seemed to be a crowded weekend. The first night, we were in a room right across from the elevator, which wasn't really a problem, but the ice machine behind the elevator was very loud and people were getting ice after midnight, which prevented decent sleep. They have a very large breakfast selection, and a large pan of some warm egg dish, different each morning.Coffee, tea & lemonade available all day. Breakfast was POOR. There were no choices for meat, nor potatoes/grits. Breads/muffins were not fresh. Eggs were terrible (not fresh). Sausage gravy was watery and cold. Coffee was located across lobby from dining area. Only a single, and slow elevator. Tubs are uncomfortable and hazardous.

Great location with many things close bye. Also close too all major hwy. Only thing we were hoping for a indoor pool but that was okay. We also enjoyed having coffee available with cookies once arriving from a long car ride.
