The location seems remote from urban areas, although proximity to the I-85 made it a good choice for our road trip. The back of the hotel is only a few feet from the highway, but the road noise disappears as soon as you are in the building. The parking lot occupies one side of the building, with the east side overlooking a field. We picked a room near the back on the east side and had no regrets. The room felt spacious, clean and appropriately furnished. Breakfast the next morning met our ex... Read more

Older hotel, but well maintained. Friendly staff. Hard to locate if you're not from the area. Take exit 132, then look for Knox Road. Breakfast was great one day but not so the next day (depends on the staff). Room was clean but old. Free internet. Business center has 2 desktop computers and a printer. Housekeeping was very friendly and efficient. Good location if you need to stay in East side of Greensboro. Across the highway from Lab Corps. Not many restaurants or shopping nearby. ... Read more

Not the quality I expect at Hilton's. They ran out of food and eating utensils. They were over booked and this led to major problems. I did see a roach crawling by the elevator, but I did not say anything to the staff.

This property has easy access on and off I-40. There are not many meal options at this exit, McDonald's and Wendy's, plus a gas station. Sure, you can drive into Greensboro for multiple meal options, but if you are just stopping for the night and not familiar with the area, you're not likely to venture too far from the hotel.

Steadiness of quality of facilities and particularly the staff make this my/our choice whenever possible. Breakfast is predictable, room cleanliness - to include bathroom - as well. Several other "Hilton Honors" chain members do not meet or maintain his standard.

Everything and everyone at this hotel were perfect - could not have been better. One of my best experiences at ANY hotel of ANY chain ever. The only complaint is that good dining choices are a bit distant, but that is hardly the fault of this excellent hotel.

We stay at a lot of Hampton Inns and other Hilton family hotels but this one was really under par. The staff was nice and things were clean but it really lacked what we have come to expect from a Hampton. Very dated, beds and sheets were lacking the comfort of almost all Hamptons we have stayed at and also lacked a fridge and microwave.

I have previously stayed in Hampton Hotels, if it were not for the reservation mix up....I wouldnt have given such a poor rate. But, since I did make my reservation a week in and half prior to my stay I was disappointed with the service. After the mix up the staff did take care of my needs...but it was discouraging to find out my reservation was given away.

LaKeita at this hotel gave me a great experience. She was clearly assigned to work in the breakfast area. Another gentlemen and I were waiting at the front desk. LaKeita walked behind the desk area to get some drinks to refill a cooler. She noticed us waiting for someone and stopped what she was doing even though it clearly wasn't her job. She quickly checked the gentlemen out of his room and then proceeded to help me with my request. Then went right back to work at the breakfast area. ... Read more

This hotel did not live up to the expectations we had of a true Hampton Inn. The A/C didn't work properly. The room was somewhat dated and old feeling. We asked to be moved to another room that had a properly-working A/C and were offered a room that had been transformed from a smoking room into a non-smoking room two months earlier. The room still smelled of stale tobacco. We did not stay a second night.

We usually are willing to pay a little more to stay at Hampton but this propery is not up to par. Signs in the lobby and elevator said "Pardon our mess while we renovate" but there were NO signs of renovation. Breakfast was just marginal. I was about to think, here's another review of a Hampton Inn in which I mention that the rooms were clean, the bathrooms up to par, etc., etc., but something fun happened. A lady from the desk came by our room and offered us fresh cookies! Yay! That was really sweet. The place is under renovation, and I hope that does mean getting a thermostat AC upgrade, as it is still old-school AC there. But I did love my stay there and had a great rest.
