Came from WV traveling to North Myrtle Beach for the Spring Safari 2016. We stopped at Laurinburg & stayed at the Hampton Inn. Enjoyed our stay. It was clean & comfortable. Would recommend this motel to anyone!

We stayed here a few months ago and recently my husband stayed here again for business, on accident, not realizing it was the same horrible place we stayed at before. He said nothing had changed. He smelled cigarette smoke in his room and knew it was coming in the AC vent, same as last time. This time it was the front desk clerk smoking by the entrance, where the AC units are all located. Just overall a bad experience and not a typical Hilton product.

Our travel started out pretty stressful because the airline lost our luggage but the staff at the hotel were very helpful and kind. Our son is autistic and they did their best to help us meet his needs in the midst of lost luggage.

Customer Service or an exciting guest room experience is not overdone, and i would not criticize them either. It is exactly where it needs to be. However, kindness and courtesy always deserve mention - which is that I was offered the huge benefit of a rate adjustment with the understanding i was actually in Town on business. Small considerations like that in customer service can never be overstated or under appreciated. (Thank you Brandis!) As earlier stated i wont either prosecute or overstat... Read more

Great hotel...Staff appears preoccupied with computer access and does not appear alert and attentive. Check out clerk promised to email receipt, if had been. More than a week and have not received it yet!

This is a beautiful, clean and friendly hotel. The beds were super comfy and the hot showers awesome. The outside pool area is very nice and relaxing as well with a beach theme. My only regrets is I wish I could have stayed longer!

I stayed here for one night on a short trip from NC to SC. I didn't like that I was not asked about room/floor preference at check-in, and was therefore placed in the first room on the first floor, facing the parking lot. However, my room was very clean, the hot continental breakfast offered many options, and despite being on the first floor, across from the fitness room, and nearest the lobby, my stay was quiet. I would recommend this hotel to others.

This is one of the best Hampton Inns I've ever stayed in. Super-relaxing, clean, comfy room. Great service. And extra great was the low 'points' amount!! Will definitely be staying here again when driving to FL.

Convenient to everything and great customer service. The breakfast is great and it is not crowded. The check in process is easy. It is very quiet and close access to themail highway. It is a great location for a short business trip and midpoint stop to next destination.

5 Star Hampton! Clean Rooms, friendly staff and beautiful grounds. Location is a bit tricky, but makes for a good spot to stop at before you head to myrtle beach. Follow WAZE for an awesome back road trip into Myrtle beach from this hotel. Exactly 99 miles away!

Stayed here on the way to the beach. Was it the best Hampton that I have stayed The people were friendly and the main areas of the hotel were clean but....the rooms were old and have just had a few updates to cover up for it being an older hotel. Think that I would go back to the other place that I stayed last year next time.

Price for a one night stay was very inexpensive, and my expectation was pretty low. A bit tricky finding the hotel as signage is lacking, but the place is fantastic. Felt like it was brand new. Room and bathroom was spotless. All towels were in "new" condition. Bed was awesome. Standard internet connection was plenty fast...

attended funeral of cousin and used Hilton points to find a room. Just wish it was closer to Rockingham. The motel was clean from the time we walked in the lobby. Our room was clean as well as the bathroom. Even with a bad storm coming through we got a good night's sleep. We found a place close by for supper. The breakfast was what I would have eaten in someplace else and more of enough different items that all three of us got what we wanted.

Nice rooms, but rooms. Close to elevator gets noisy and may keep you awake at night. Also my room was above the lobby and it got so noisy one night that I had to complain several times to get them to keep the noise Dow. They moved me to another room the next and adjusted my bill

This Hampton Inn is very clean and updated. Employees are friendly and helpful. The hot breakfast hit the spot for us. The location is also perfect for our visit. The room size was very good and there were enough chairs to sit in rather than having to sit on the bed to watch TV, etc.

The location was next to a pretty crappy set of section 8 housing. The situation that present itself is that people that was to target travelers would have the opportunity. Security cameras or some type of deterrent would be advised. More than one running tread mill would be nice to see. A sound system with the capability to plug in music devices with an auxiliary cord would be super handy.

I had a comfortable stay at this hotel partly due to the comfort and cleanliness of the room, the helpfulness of the staff and the location. The staff went above and beyond all expectations. They were kind enough to contact me regarding some hanging clothes that I had left behind in the closet. They made arrangements to return those to me. My colleague and I will look forward to staying here again for our next business trip to Laurinburg.

Consistant hotel. Moved our room to end of hall when requested. Hotel was full but they said they would 'try'! Employees always speak and are courteous. Breakfast attendant was obviously having a bad day and the breakfast area was a mess and didn't look to appetizing. In her defense the hotel was pretty full and there were a lot of folks! We will most likely stay again but there is another nice hotel that we try first because the price is lower ($20-$30/night) without sacrificing comfort and ... Read more

Next store is a run down hotel that is downright scary. The staff allows guests of the nearby hotel to use the facilities. The bathrooms are dirty, the breakfast consisting of powdered eggs is awful and the staff is dismissive. I was there on business and we had 4 rooms for 4 nights. Everyone in my party agreed.

This hotel is right in the middle of the pipeline from Ohio, PA, etc. to the beaches of southern NC and SC. If you are looking for a place to break up your long drive, this is great. The pool area was very well kept and had great landscaping with palm trees and other flowering plants. It has a nice gazebo to escape the sun, and even a hammock to relax in. It was a perfect place to preface a beach vacation. The hotel staff was actually doing some of the landscaping while we were there, but b... Read more

Great staff took care of all our needs. Young man working outside Nick went out of his way to help us with our luggage when he saw we were having trouble getting it in the cart. Took it to room for us then asked if there was any thing else he could do for us.

I had to be in Laurinburg to help my elderly mother-in-law during a hospital stay. This Hampton was close to the hospital, clean, friendly, and convenient (close to the hospital). Loved having a fridge and microwave in my room. The staff went above and beyond in accommodating my ever-lengthening stay -- I planned a one-night stay and ended up staying four nights.

The facilities were clean, with the exception of the slow draining sink and tub. The bedding was comfortable, the room was cool, and easy to obtain a good nights rest (quiet at night). The complimentary breakfast was average. However, I probably would not return to this Hampton Inn location due to the poor customer service. One particular staff did not greet anyone as they entered the facility, and he was working the front desk. When asked if the coffee was fresh, he exclaimed yes- it was like ... Read more

I'm frequent customer and have stayed at various locations under the Hilton brand. I used my HHonors points to stay two nights. The first night I was put in a room under construction. I was first placed in a room with a strong odor; like dirty mop water. I went back downstairs to alert staff and received an apology and place me in another room on a different floor.
