I liked the layout of the room, which was clean and comfortable. Property seems well kept and everything seemed to be in working order. Breakfast was OK- not better not worse, just ok. My only frustration was the person above me had little dogs. I can understand hearing a little barking for a moment or two, but being able to hear the dog scratching to get out of its cage, for long periods of time at night, was frustrating. I called the front desk. I spoke to the front desk the next morning, and ... Read more

The hotel is clean and well maintained. There is free breakfast in the morning and there is free wifi. I did not have any issues during my stay. They are very friendly and helpful. The reason why I took a star of is because they do not allow early check in. The earliest you can get in is maybe 2/3pm (even if rooms are available.) I would def. stay here again..

This is a fairly average Residence Inn. Comfortable, clean, polite staff. We were in room 327 and the cooktop had some damage or needed a good cleaning. I could not find any sharp knives in the drawers, which was strange. The one bedroom suite was nice because there were doors separating it from the living room and bathroom. The adjoining neighborhoods leading into Uptown are rather sketchy, but the hotel has full security cameras and good exterior lighting. Very close to the hospitals. Breakfas... Read more

Only a 5 minute easy drive from Pitt-Greenville Airport. Recently stayed in a two bedroom suite for a family wedding. The suite had a full equipped kitchen, two bedrooms, and two bathrooms. (Perfect for traveling with the mother-in-law!) Breakfast each morning was the usual hotel breakfast buffet with many options. Loved the little sitting alcoves with your own personal TV! Staff was extremely friendly and accommodating, answering all our questions. Traveling to Winterville and Ayden was conven... Read more

My wife and i recently stayed here for three nights, and it is a great hotel. The facility itself is well designed and appealing visually. The suite we stayed in was roomy and very well layed out, featuring a kitchenette, queen beds, a sitting area, and bath. Could not ask for a more comfortable room. The hotel staff is remarkably friendly and helpful - particularly the front desk staff. Each night of our stay, the hotel had a mixer with free food or drinks. Great way to meet fellow residents of... Read more

This is a nice hotel and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The only issue we had was the wake up call thing did not work for me and I almost did not get to my job interview on time. I told the manager and he gave me like five thousand points which was half of what it cost me to stay there.

Recently visited our son who lives in Greenville, We decided to stay her for the first time. The Residence Inn is relatively new and it is still very clean. The room was very large, with a fully furnished small kitchen and small "living" area. It has a small outdoor pool, and a small "putting" green outside. Location to East Carolina University is perfect. A very comfortable stay in a very comfortable bed.

What a great place to stay! We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite. There was a full kitchen, table and living room area. We arrived early and got to check into our room. After a 12 hour drive it was great to go swimming. We did bring snack foods but it was nice to be able to buy local fruits and enjoy them later. It was nice to bring back leftovers and have them the next day as well. The pool was nice and clean with lots of towels. The breakfast was different every morning and always a pleasant surpri... I was at this hotel 4 nites and I thought I was somewhere else in a big city. I had a 2 Queen Bed Mini Suite with a full kitchen, mini living room with a computer desk and the beds were so plush I didn't want to get up. The décor was contemporary in the rooms & lobby. A full buffet breakfast was included as well as a shuttle they offered for transportation within a 10 mile radius until a certain time. The staff at the front desk were very friendly and speaking everytime you passed them and very... Read more

This is a very nice place to stay. We had a 1 bedroom suite; the kitchen had everything we needed for our 3-night stay. The staff was very friendly. The pool is a little on the small side, but it seems all hotels are doing that now.

We stayed here with a large group about a year ago. We were in Greenville for a taekwondo tournament. Our team came in 1st place. When we got back to the hotel after our win, the staff was all congratulating us. How sweet what that? The hotel had a nice fire pit where we hung out both nights we were there. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you're stopping in Greenville.

We were so impressed with this hotel. Clean, updated, large (nice) kitchen and lounge area with huge (new, clean) couch. Bedroom and bathroom in a separate room (loved, loved this). Both bedroom & lounge area had tv's. Bed was huge and comfy - best nights sleep in a long time. Great free breakfast....fluffy waffles were yummy! Excellent pool area with nice lounge chairs. Cute little bar area. Will absolutely stay in this hotel for EVERY trip to Greenville!

Easy, efficient, friendly check in. Had a very nice corner room 426. Fireplace, full kitchen and great layout. Lots of outlets for electronics in living room on the table beside the sofa and desk area. Comfortable sleep sofa. Especially liked the doors separating living room and bathroom and bedroom. Allows for privacy without being cramped in a small bathroom. Especially useful for sleep sofa guests. Short drive to all the restaurants. Although Jimmy Johns is beside the hotel and the hotel h... This hotel is clean and the facilities are nice. There are closer hotels to ECU campus, but we like this place the best. Breakfast is very nice and the staff is very friendly. We will definitely come back again!

Good luck if you stay here! There are 2 absolutely miserable and crabby employees who work at the bar area in the evening. I recently stayed there, and after a long day of work, wanted an adult beverage. After waiting for 20 minutes, with no customers at the bar, was asked if I wanted something. I said sure! I then ordered a beer and was told that the beer I ordered was not part of 'my complimentary?'... I couldn't understand since the sentence was mumbled and had no idea what she was talking ab... This Hotel is my type of Hotel- Excellent. Very friendly staff and the cleanliness is top of the line. My room was awesome, very comfortable, clean and cool! I'm very particular of my hotel stays and this one was GREAT! Only issue was the A/C was not working in the hallways on the second floor when I checked in. My check-in and check-out was a breeze. Thank you Residence Inn Greenville for the Beautiful Stay.

This is the better Marriott property in Greenville. The rates are higher than the Courtyard and are worth it. Great bed quality and room layout. Breakfast set up is a little confusing, but still good. Ample free newspapers and a friendly staff. Will return again.

I come to Greenville about four times a year for school and business. Normally I stay at the Microtel so I can save some money. This time I stayed at the Residence Inn and I have been incredibly surprised. Free hot breskfast, pool and exercise room. They offer a nightly gatherings Monday -Thurs with dinner and 2 free alcoholic drinks or sodas. The room was very comfortable with a 2 burner stove and full size fridge. This stay has been very comfortable. I will book here again.

The room is spacious and comfortable, with comfy bed, and excellent pillows for a hotel. We have stayed at this hotel many times over the last couple of years as our daughter is a student at ECU. When we first visited the hotel, it was almost new and everything seemed to be great including the customer service. We stayed at this hotel on August 6th and on September 17th of this year and did not have a good experience on either stay. On our visit in August, we asked for a check-in on the mobile app for 11am, only to arrive and told that the room was not ready and check-in tim... Read more

My husband and I go to Greenville to visit our son at ECU. The staff here are extremely helpful and well trained. The room is nicely planned with an equipped kitchen, cold refrigerator, comfortable bed and sitting area. The included breakfast is plentiful; fresh fruit, fiber, protein and choices of yogurt and breads are available. There are no ice machines but the refrigerator freezer makes ice and the super friendly desk clerk found some ice for me. The coffee at breakfast can run out, it happe... Read more

I stay in Greenville 2 nights per week during the fall and spring. I have stayed at most of the major hotels in town, and this residence inn ties with the Hampton Inn for my favorite. In terms of room quality, RI wins, the Hampton Inn only stands out because of the nice evening snacks/drinks, but the HI has smaller rooms. Focusing on the RI: The rooms are huge mini-suites, complete with kitchenettes, a proper desk, L-shaped sofas and power outlets EVERWHERE. Week nights a snack is served alo... Read more

We had a very nice 1 night stay with other family members. Staff is very friendly, rooms very large, clean and well appointed. Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast buffet was delicious. Nice eating counters but tables too small for group of 4. Lobby very nice looking.
