Enjoyed the stay. Food and facilities in line with many Hilton doubletree properties. Of course, the cookies are great. Stayed 4 nights in March 2016. No complaints. However, the place is getting dated, and carpets getting worn. Could use some updating. But the place is clean. It's located close to many fast food restaurants do there are dining options. Looking forward to revisiting.

Stayed at this hotel a couple of times. The staff is really attentive and helpful. I enjoyed the after hours pantry which was well stocked with snacks. The breakfast was really good. Great service from the staff in the restaurant. The hotel is close to many good restaurants within walking distance or a short drive. I like this hotel. Will stay here again.

The staff were genuinely friendly and very helpful. The rooms were quiet and the bed was very comfortable. The carpet through the main areas was a little dated and held odor- my only complaint. The breakfast was reasonably priced and very good. Cannot say enough about the outstanding staff experience in every area of the business!

I booked this hotel through Booking. There was a mess up as to it being pre-paid. Mostly my fault. I tried to contact the General Manager to discuss the problem. I called her answering machine everyday for two weeks, I wrote her emails. Finally, I suppose she got tired of listenig to my phone messages and she answered me via email. I have stayed at this hotel before. I felt very insulted as a customer that the manager couldnt find time to speak with me, and that it took her 3 weeks to react ... Read more

First of all, this property is dated. Needs upgrades. I believe this property is poorly managed. I checked out around 7:30 am a couple of weeks ago and made a simple request. A request I make often. I asked that a bar charge be removed from my room bill and placed on another credit card. I didn't want it on my corporate credit card. I've done this a lot of times at hotels all over the world and never had a problem. Well, the front desk staff struggled to do it and then swiped my credit card and ... Read more

Traveling on business back and forth to the area, I saw my fair share of hotels. This Double Tree is nicely appointed and modern. Rooms own the side of the hotel offer both "trees & traffic" which is my favorite landscape. The staff is friendly and responsive - especially so for HHonors members (which I am). A delightful stay for business travelers who want to be near everything without being overwhelmed by noise.

The DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel in Greensboro has a host of wonderful staff members; from the front desk to the restaurant waitstaff. I took 2 rooms for my family over a long wedding weekend. It was half the price of the wedding hotel downtown, but was just as nice. Breakfast was good, especially Monday when they actually cooked instead of the buffet. I heard that it doesn't have the buffet when there less than 50% full. The rooms were fine and the beds were comfortable. They did not put a new shampoo in the room and they kept putting 2 towels in our bathroom, when there were 3 of us.

Nice friendly staff and good location for my event. We ate at the restaurant for both breakfast and dinner. Food at the buffet was good but it's a buffet but dinner was really good and reasonable. No need to eat anywhere else. I would stay again.

I picked this hotel because it was in not far from the International Civil Rights Center and the Barns and Dinner Theatre. It was a really nice and clean hotel with a great staff. The rooms were really nice and big. The bed was so comfortable. There are restaurants near this hotel and it is right off the highway.

We were in Greensboro for my daughters soccer tournament for the Adidas Clash. We stayed on the 8th floor it smelled like smoke, it was terrible. Not having a refrigerator and microwave was disappointing. The wifi was very slow. I have Hilton honors and this was worse Double Tree I ever stayed at.

Great value, clean hotel, nice room, convenient to coliseum. Attached bar/restaurant had good food. We would definitely stay in this hotel again when traveling to Greensboro for an event at the coliseum.

The staff that greeted us was excellent!! We were given warm cookies upon arrival that were a nice touch, and very good! The room looked great upon arrival. The first night there we did not realize the window was open so it was very noisy, we even opened the blinds but did not realize it was not closed. The shower had a lot of mold which was surprising. The drain was clogged so we took showers in standing water. There was no mini refrigerator which was disappointing, we like to keep cold dri... Read more

Stayed one night for a quick trip to Greensboro. Upon arrival I proceeded to the check in desk (nov 11 @ 5:30p) and was immediately disappointed in my decision to stay. The employees behind the desk were rude - the person that checked me in never made eye contact. I know this may sound petty but it was really disappointing to be greeted this way after a 5 hour drive. My Hilton Honor benefits were not offered/recognized. On a positive note the room seemed to be recently renovated and was ver... Read more

The toilets were horrible and the shower tile had mildew stains. The maid failed to vacuum the room during my three day stay. I will not stay here again. Not worth the money. This is a very old hotel off the expressway. In desperate need of an update

I had a wonderful stay at the Double Tree. Unfortunately, the greedy guests before me ate all of the cookies. It was ok though as the room was lovely. The gentleman at the front desk offered to change my room if I found there was too much noise since I was right by the elevator, but I didn't hear a thing. The restaurant on site was great. I had an awesome spicy shrimp salad that was to die for. I will definitely stay here again.

Not what I expected at all. The hotel room was dated and the bathroom sink leaked and the show nozzle was stuck. Only 2 sets of bath towels and no bath soap. No refrigerator to keep my husbands diabetic medicine in. No breakfast unless paid for in the restaurant Overpriced

Would not recommend this hotel to anyone I work with, made reservations for 4 adults and only had towels for 2, no soap. Staff was not very friendly. Main elevator did not work, only the service one did.

The worst Hilton I have been in. I am a Diamond member. No refrigerator, no microwave, no special robes. Also, when I checked in I was asked if I brought my own soap! What?!?! He then gave me a very large cake of soap. So ghetto. One very small elevator works, but sounds horrible. Don't waste your money here.
