Very convient to restaurants, and very easy access to the highway. Staff was very friendly, and attentive. The complimentary breakfast was very good, and all food was very fresh. I recommend this hotel if you are in the area.

Wonderful experience especially at check in. Jerrol was welcoming and personable to each guest. The hotel was full and this did not deter him. Each guest was welcomed, told about specifics such complimentary breakfast, etc to each guest.

Room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast not as complete as most Hamptons. Elevators on the fritz for a short time, delaying our departure. Erik at the front desk did a good job checking in. We were looking for something closer to I95 but this was a good value for the area. I would stay there again.

Staff was very friendly. The only downside my husband and I ran into was that the fridge in our room wasn't turned on so we couldn't use it and there was no fan in the bathroom. Nice gym and breakfast available.

Our motor coach had a mechanical problem and had to be towed to a shop in Goldsboro, NC, so we had to get a hotel room for a couple of days on Memorial Day weekend. We saw a Hampton Inn near Walmart and went in to see if they had any vacancies. We lucked out! The staff was super and treated us like family. They were very sympathetic with our situation and was so helpful when we needed info on other things. Thanks Vicky and Eric, you're the greatest! You can count on Hampton Inn to be consi... Read more

Stayed at this hotel several times over the last 5 years while in town visiting family. Extremely pleased with everything. Staff is very friendly, hotel lobby and hallways are clean as well as the rooms. Like the fact that this hotel is located close to several restaurants and a shopping area if you've forgotten anything.

I've stayed at this hotel a few time in the past and have always been a fan of the staff and how they operate. The rooms are very up to date and always fresh and clean upon my arrival. Breakfast in the AM is good as well. There are plenty of Restaurants/Stores around if you need a snack or anything else. There is an Applebees just out the door of the hotel. Great Stay Thanks Hampton Inn!

The first night our room was on the 4 floor room 402 the AC was not working well. I ask to be moved and was told they were booked. Clerk found 2 fans and brought them up. It was 76 to 80 degrees most of the night in our room the AC would kick on for 5 minutes and then kick out for 20 minutes . None of us slept well! The next day I ask to be moved. They moved us to 411 it was better but still not really cool. I think the whole 4th floor was having some kinda problem it was very warm in the hall ... Read more

Every time we come to visit our son & granddaughter in Goldsboro, we stay at the Hapton Inn. Nothing feels like home like being remembered every time we stay! The staff is amazing, always with a greeting and a smile. The rooms are clean and the the complimentary internet works like a charm. My husband especially like the free breakfast!

Overall the hotel faired well, the room could use some general maintenance and repair work. The elevator didn't like to open when you reached the main floor. However, the staff was helpful, inviting, and very cheerful. As long as you aren't looking for a perfect room, this is a good place to hang your hat for an evening.

Overall good stay. i would change 2 things. 1. the variety of "breakfast food" was not that great. What ever happened to bacon and eggs. 2. I'm a musician so we don't get to bed until 3am so we eat a late breakfast. So I'm in the lobby by 9:20 and go to get breakfast. But couldn't because there was only spair parts left. So my note would be to restock the breakfast bar even if it's 9:25 the sign says breakfast is from 6-10

Jennifer at the front desk was extremely rude during our stay for family reunion. She yelled across the front desk threatening to "throw us out" if we didn't keep it down while she conducted business. Very unprofessional and the other ppl in the lobby couldn't believe her attitude nor unprofessionalism. Other than her attitude all other staff were very friendly and helpful and mgr Erin was very apologetic.

Wow. I forgot to review this place so I apologize for the late review ( about a year late lol). Our family had our annual family Reunion in la,Grange NC and this was our main hotel. It's in a great location with friendly staff, restaurant options and it was only a 10 minute drive into town. They also had a pretty good breakfast selection. It pretty much the hotel got the job done and my all of my family who stayed there was pleased.

I had to change rooms because of a mold issue that got my guest and I sick but the staff was great. I was there for almost three months so they got use to seeing me around, I was always treated with hospitality and greeted by almost all the staff members. They even got to know my children when they would come visit me, and knew them on a first name basis.

Upon arrival the front desk was very rude. We traveled 8 hours and was not greeted with a smile. The rooms were supposed to be on one floor during our family reunion and at the end we were spread out all over the hotel. We had ants and the toilet was broke when I first walked in. The breakfast server was nice and so was the custodians.

Stayed for 3 nights on business. The room was dated, the internet connection was inconsistent and the wall-mounted thermostat made controlling the room temperature and fan operatiin difficult. On the plus side, the staff was friendly and very helpful, the room and hotel spotless and it is in a great location. Not a great hotel bet definitely no horror story. Average and adequate.

The only plus with the room was gay they had a microwave and refridgerator .Upon arrival they gave us the wrong key and someone else was occupied in the room. There was a pair of socks from a former guest and the room was hot . Also they didn't have anymore double beds and I didn't find this out until I went into the room. The location is another plus here

My room had a cleanliness issue and I called the Front Desk to see if they could rectify it at 2am. They were very attentive and credited my room night for the issue along with a gift card in the morning when I checked out. I'm rating 3 out of 5 for the room: I didn't pick this room, they put me in it since the original one had a late check out and wasn't ready.
