I urge anyone who books this hotel to open the shower curtain and examine the shower ceiling, curtain rod and floor of the bathroom even if you are not showering till the morning and are tired from a 12 hour drive from Florida! On our way back to NJ we just washed up and tumbled into bed. Because the fan in the bathroom sounded like a tractor running we used the lights from the hall while washing. Long story short, in the morning when the room was lighter and it was time to shower I was comple... Read more

Do not I say again do not stay in this hotel! This hotel has an infestation of bed bugs. We stood there the night of 28 April 2016 and the next morning my 8yr old woke up with bed bug bites all over his arm and back! ???????? Now we have to get an exterminator to treat our house. So pissed off right now! So beware!

Stayed on night driving north. Positives: friendly and helpful desk staff, quiet, large room, clean, hot shower with great pressure, nice sized flat screen, good location right off 95 with restaurants in walking distance. Negatives: room smelled a bit musty, never could connect to wifi, no luggage carts, shower needs updating.

We stayed here on the 9th of May, 2016 in room 202. Place looked nice enough for the price. The morning after the we stayed, my wife stated that she woke up in the middle of the night feeling like something was biting her; we had just stayed the weekend in Georgia where she was "eaten alive" by mosquitos, so I dismissed her feelings as a response to the hoards of mosquitos she encountered. When we came home, however, she continued to find small bites on her--I continued to think it was a reac... Read more

I had an excellent room for a very good value. The room was clean, comfortable, had a very good large TV, Microwave/Fridge combo and was pet friendly. The staff are friendly and welcoming and also very helpful. There are plenty of restaurants nearby and ample room to walk your dog. Another plus is the availability of plenty of outlets. I will definitely stay there again.

Great hotel terrible location, but ok once inside, rooms are being renovated very nicely, great bed.... Upon arriving we where greeted by a very nice southern belle at 2 am for a few hours rest. After parking we where then greeted by a scary homeless man pretty much demanding money or food. Very thankful that the clerks husband brung her coffee, he came to our aid after he seen the man troubling us.I called the office so that we may get our belongings out of the car and asked for security clerk... This is not a family hotel whatsoever! We booked online after being tired and desperate, upon arrival there was no clerk to found for the locked lobby for at least ten minutes. We checked in got our key and my teenage daughter and Aunt walked towards our room while I pulled the car around. When I pulled up my Aunt and daughter had weird facial expression. I asked them what was wrong and they informed me that a guy on 2nd floor was making cat calls to my teenage daughter even after my Aunt told h... Read more

Red Roof is clean, comfortable and quite, perfect place if you need low budget place to stay. The Break fast is not good, but you get a good cup of coffee to go for the day. Fridge was not working on my visit but staff were polite about it. Over all I recommand Red Roof Inn.

Loved our stay at the Red Roof Inn! Remade rooms were spotless and lovely, and the organization was second to none. Proprietors are adjacent and endeavor to welcome you and certification that you have all that you require. All staff was genial, valuable, and eager to serve. Our cleaning specialist, Staff, was particularly useful. Delightful pool zone, also, and the perfect range for setting off to the minors and Tabasco Pepper Sauce Factory on Avery Island.

The room was comfortable, clean and reasonable. The desk person was polite and helpful. If you don't have a coupon, ask what discounts they honor. There are several. this is not a luxury hotel but it is a good place to stop for a night's rest. they also served a light breakfast. There were people staying there who were temporarily working in the area but what is wrong with that? They were all clean, polite and respectable. We would stay there again.

My sister and i drove up from florida and came to the red roof inn in Lumberton to stay in a 2 bed room for one night. WE DIDN'T EVEN STAY FOR THAT ONE NIGHT. To start things off we did not get the room we asked for..As soon as we walked in you can feel as if the room wasn't even cleaned, I walked into the bathroom and boom! The toilet had poop in it, the toilet seat had pee on it and there was no toilet paper. When we went back to the front desk we asked if they can send a cleaning lady to the... Read more

after driving from Florida we needed to stop and sleep. I had great experiences at other Red Roof Inns and figured we would stop. The staff at the front desk was great and friendly. The room was not. Everything was old and some lights did not even work. The floor had crumbs on it, the bathroom had boogers , and the fridge was filthy. Would not recommend it to anyone.

We stayed the night at this red roof in while visiting family in lumberton nc. Very nice motel. Very clean and comfortable. The best part was donna at the front desk. She was fantastic! This was our first stay at a red roof inn. We were very surprised at all the extras in the room. The price was great too. The room came with an ironing board, safe and a blow dryer. We will stay at red roof inn again.

Spent a night at the Red Roof Inn while on an excursion in NM. Extremely decent room, great breakfast, amicable and accommodating staff. Simple to discover and great access to the interstate. We went to an ABQ Isotopes amusement at the close-by stadium, exploited the clothing (getting things clean for the second 50% of our get-away) and were up and out at a young hour the following day. We didn't have an opportunity to utilize the indoor pool, however it looked decent.

Arriving to the hotel late at night we where greeted by a Tall obnoxious lady that carried on that she was new, only to hear her northern stories at 2am, finally checked into a smelly moldy room with cockroaches ,too late to make a fuss after seemed like 30min of check-in. Slept with our own blankets as the sheets smelled like cheap perfume. Upon check-out we looked into the cold soggy muffins and stale coffee, wanted to address the room but decided not to as the AM clerk looked as scary as the ... Read more

We recently stayed at the Red Roof Inn in Lumberton. We often stay at Red Roof facilities because we travel with our pet. The motel is refurbished, and we were very satisfied with our lodgings. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Spent the night at this Red Roof Inn during a short business trip. I checked in during a very hot day and upon walking into the lobby, the thoughtful front desk lady gave me a cold bottle of water. It's always nice to see that southern hospitality! I was in room 120 and the room was clean, table lamps had plenty of charging ports next to the bed, Wi-Fi worked, and the bed was comfy. In all honesty, it felt like a room at one of the higher end hotels but at a reasonable price! The pool was c... Read more

We booked here last minute on a Friday night, so this wasn't our first choice. I won't say it was fancy, but it was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The room seemed freshly painted and the comforter on the bed seemed new. The ladies that checked us in couldn't have been nicer! Very friendly and this goes a long way in my book as not everyone is always this welcoming. There is a light continental breakfast served in the lobby in the morning, but we just got coffee and then hit the Cracker ... Read more

I usually stay at Red Roofs, decent price for a place to grab a few hours sleep. The one in Lumberton NC was the best I've ever stayed in. Everything up to date and comfortable. I had been trying to FTP some files for a couple of days in different hotels with no luck. The wifi at this Red Roof actually allowed me to complete my task. I don't know what was different, but it worked.

This hotel has the best southern ladies running the desk after 3 pm. They are very helpful and nice as can be. The rooms there are very clean. Looks like all new linen and drapes. The desk, chairs, and dresser are new and very nice. The TV was huge and HD with lots of channels. A plus for a hotel. Even the carpet felt nice on my bare feet. There are lots of lights outside and they have cameras to help protect your cars. The grounds are kept very nice. I highly recommend this hotel. I will return... Read more

We liked the fact that doggie waste bags were provided for the four legged guests, and a waste receptacle to leave them so that all other outdoor receptacles were Oder free. We have stayed where we had to pay extra for our dog, where nothing was provided and tha grassy area around that motel was littered with piles of dog feces. Can you imaging stepping in that while traveling in the car all day with nothing to clean it? The next thing I noticed that was memorable was the warm and friendly staf... Read more

Needed a place to stay on drive home from Florida. Reviews were decent so I took a shot. Really cute from outside. Each has a balcony on the 2nd floor with a nice place to sit. Downside is it is not very clean. I have a smoking room but that is no reason to have ashes on the floor and around the bed. Stains and holes on the sheets and blanket. Very dated furniture. I stayed in a similar priced hotel on the way down and was spoiled I guess. The ladies at the front desk were very friendly.
