I travel several times a year from NJ to Fl. I have tried to stay at this Holiday Inn twice before but the pet rooms were all taken by the time I reached Fayetteville. This time I was lucky, or so I thought. I based my desire to stay here based upon reviews I have read on trip advisor, about the pet rooms. When we opened the door to the first room the smell was so awful. It smelled worse than a wet dog. They were very nice about it and changed our room and gave us a $10 credit on our bill. The ... This Facility work tirelessly to make your stay as uncomplicated as possible, from a travel room to holding a week long conference there. Have been holding a conference there for over 15 years and they will do whatever is needed to keep the activity successful. Some of their staff stay there 20 hours a day do do what is needed to make it successful. The are a great team to work with.

I arrived with a bus of seniors (Florida-NY), and this bus company (Hampton Jitney) stays at this HI every Wednesday night from April to June and October to January. We arrive after being on the bus for 14 hours very tired and some of the seniors couldn't unlock their doors. I think it would be nice if the hotel had a staff member around so if an issue like an unlocked door comes up then it can be quickly resolved without making the senior walk to the lobby. Also I didn't think the buffet ser... Read more

A very nice and welcoming staff greeted my husband, myself, and our dog in the lobby! The hotel staff gave us discount coupons for dinner and free coupons for breakfast the next morning. The room was very comfortable for all of us! Ruby Tuesdays is located across a side street within easy walking distance. We slept very soundly and enjoyed a wonderful free breakfast the next day. The staff was very attentive and kind to us and our sweet dog.

I came here from up North and the rooms is not all its cracked up to be. I have a suite and the rooms are old. The sofa is nasty and old need to be upgraded. The rooms smell old and musty, the carpet is damp. The make you take stairs to the 2nd level instead of and elevator. That's on the other side of the hotel. I'm a gold reward member and I will never stay at this hotel again. This place is horrible the rooms are very old the lobby is better then the rooms. To expensive for the money..

Have stayed here many times before, but this time - for the second time in 4 years - they did not honor our reservation, made months prior. We even got an email reminder a couple of days prior, and stopped in at 1:30 to confirm and check to see if the room was ready. Then at 8PM when we went back, we were told the suite we had reserved was gone. The excuse: a large high school reunion was in progress. This was the last time we will give them the opportunity to cancel our reservation - we will... Read more

I was excited about staying here because I stayed once before which was about 13-14 years ago..this hotel has taken a beating since then. The reason we stayed there was it is pet friendly and they have a restaurant on site that is supposed to be open until 10pm. The first room they gave me had a loud humming AC. Switched to the 2nd room and the smell was so bad and the crumbs on the desk chair did me in. They switched me again and it was a bit better. I noticed the toilet had not been cl... Read more

My criteria was per friendly, pool, restaurant, and clean. It is a very clean hotel with polite, friendly and helpful staff - servers in the restaurant were very prrsonable! I was bummed that pool was closed for maintenance, so I was given 2 breakfast passes. Room is spacious and clean. There was a $40 pet charge which I thought was steep, but when I saw how clean the room was, knowing other pets had been here, I was okay with it. I will stay here on my return trip.

Really a very basic holiday inn but the real southern welcome we received from the two lovely ladies at the front desk made all the difference. They were so welcoming and since it was July 4 th were full of advice of where to see the fireworks. Also when we mentioned that our kids were allergic to pets, Amanda called our room and offered us a room on the second floor to ensure that our children would not come into contact with any of the pets there. This place is a dump and shouldn't be classified as a 3 star hotel. There was trash all over the parking lots. The blanket had a very large brown stain on it. I don't believe the linen was changed from the last guest's stay. I felt as though I needed a bath after leaving this hotel. Never again!

Driving from PA to SC decided to stay here overnight. Got a little concerned at check in when there was an armed security guard in the lobby. Check in was a breeze. Room had 2 double beds and was nice. It was clean. The a/c in room 2058 made so much noise we couldn't keep it on during sleep. So it got muggy in the room. The hotel itself is nice enough and convenient for travelers heading along the I95. Quite a long line to get checked-in. Staff were very friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. Decor was a little outdated. Wifi connection was good. Breakfast buffet was ok but is not for healthy eaters. The restaurant could benefit from stocking items such as skim milk, yogurts, a larger variety of cereals, and healthier options at breakfast.

And we saw people being told that there were no rooms left at the front desk. Upon arrival the guy at the front desk confirmed we has asked for the bed and said he would have it sent to the room. And when I called to specifically ask, I was told someone would come, but they never showed up. The pool area is nice, but being indoors, it made the air on the first floor a bit humid. It's OK in several ways, no traffic noise, decent pricing, but the place is CAVERNOUS. Lots of empty, wasted space. We can not believe this property was originally built to house a hotel. We walked 238 steps from the entry to our 2nd floor room. There is only one elevator, so, if you need to use a cart to get your bags from reception to a 2nd floor room, expect to hike a bit. I stayed here for 2 nights on business. The bed was hard as a rock and there was a musty odor in the hall. This is an older hotel and not one of the best Holiday Inns. There is only one elevator for a large number of rooms. Otherwise, one has to lift your luggage up the stairs. I had to walk 3 long halls to get to my room! The meal I had in the restaurant, a caprese chicken that is their "specialty" was poor. I will not return.
