My husband and I were here for 6 nights. The positives: great location, very accommodating and friendly staff and all of the amenities were available. Breakfast buffet was pretty good, but the offerings were the same thing every day. We ate dinner there one night and it was good. Now for the negatives: when we arrived, we saw the pardon our dust sign and were surprised since their announcement of the renovation had a completion date of Spring 2016. As we walked to our room, the hallways looked l... Read more

My disabled parents and I came to North Carolina for my daughters graduation. I booked the hotel 8 months in advanced and called one and a half months to finalized the stay making sure we had a handicap accessible room. When we arrived I was told they did not have a handicap room available. I tried to find somewhere else for us but due to all the graduations nothing was available, so I had no other choice but to take what they had. We were given a room at the back of the hotel. This placed... Read more

This hotel is so bad i hardly know where to start! The first day of my stay the hot water was turned off for the WHOLE day without prior notice. The hotel caught fire and was evacuated, and there were workmen drilling outside my door at 7am. Yes, that was just the FIRST DAY! The second day there was jack hammering outside my door at 7am. The hotel shuttle is not accessible for disabled people, the shuttle drivers were mean and unaccomodating, except for Teddy. Teddy is the only good thing... Read more

We were visiting Durham for my wife's graduation and we'e fine paying a premium, $320 per night with a 3 night minimum, at the hotels request, given the high demand for graduation weekend. I can't even begin describing our negative experience with this hotel. In a nutshell, we had to change rooms 3 times since the bathroom vents had some loud noise and the person checking us in was clueless. Now imagine having to do this after 26 hours of flying and having to walk back and forth trying to expl... Read more

I have been overwhelmed with the incredible service I have received at the Millennium Hotel Durham . John and his awesome front desk staff Melissa and Azu have just been the best. I highly recommend that you take a stay here on your next vacation or next hotel stay. Marvin Mumford

Where do i even start?? Jack hammering outside my door at 7am one morning, drilling another morning. There was a fire and everyone was evacuated. Different stories were told to us about how it started. Even though our clothes stunk of smoke we weren't even given $3 to wash and dry them. The hotel provides a shuttle for guests to anywhere within a 5 minute radius. I was told they accommodated disability scooters, which i need. I waited in the lobby for the shuttle. When i followed the shuttle dri... Read more

From the moment I checked in Octavia and Ratechia were attentive and so incredibly welcoming they made sure to greet me each morning and ask me if I needed anything. Making me and my family feel so special. On my second day I was approched and asked if I would like tickets to the ballgame. I could not beleive it,I was given free tickets. I feel lucky to have stayed in this hotel during a recent training/business trip. The hotel at this time is upgrading their rooms (and renovating other areas of the hotel) and I was able to view one of the new rooms which was beautifully laid out as well as comfortable which will become available in October (so don't pass this place up). The room I had was comfortable, nicely furnished, clean, had nice amenities, linens, and furnishings. The air worked great and I could open the window and hear ... Read more

There are plenty of good hotels in Durham in this price range. The hotel is being renovated and is a mess. By current hotel standards the clerk who greeted us was unpleasant. Because of the renovation the place is confusing to get around and we were given terrible directions and had to come back for a better explanation. Traveling with my son so we booked a room with two queen beds. When we got to the room it hadn't even been cleaned. They offered a room with a king and a roll away bed! ... Read more
