Like many business travellers, this hotel is "home" in Raleigh. It is not perfect, it does not always get everything right, but it is "home". I won't stay anywhere else. Why you may ask... ? Well, there are a few reasons: 1) The staff are awesome - they are a family and they make you feel like a family. Christie is back and she is just fabulous. Travis the shuttle driver couldn't do more and Charlie and her team on front desk are awesome. 2) The food in the hotel is good but the shuttle ... Read more

Very expensive during graduation weekend. Double Tree provides nice rooms and good service. But it is not a hotel that deserves a $200 plus a night charge in Raleigh. And its b/f was not a bargain either.

The hotel is close to airport and many companies. The room is clean and comfortable. Shuttle to/ from airport and nearby places is very nice to save on taxi cost. Hotel is very reasonable priced for the quality provided.

outside of the front entrance and rear entrance, all the entrances (i could have missed one) you had stairs you had to carry your luggage up. from the rear entrance to the lobby you had to walk all the way around the interior perimeter, because of stairs between the rear entrance and the lobby, though not a major issue just very inconvenient. rooms seemed small, Do not eat at the restuarant, poor service and quailty not that good.

Driving up to the hotel, I thought I was back in Disneyland! The landscaping is beautiful, colorful, and inviting. The drive leads right up to the front of the lobby, which comes into view through the trees and natural beauty surrounding the entrance. I stepped inside and was met by a beautiful fireplace in the midst of a very cozy lobby with dozens of stuffed chairs and sofas. It was so nice, I thought I was in the wrong hotel! Check-in was fast and easy. I walked through the spacious lobby ... Read more

The service was exemplary from our arrival to our departure. Every one of the employees was upbeat and professional. The hotel was very clean and they even offer you some delicious cookies at check in and checkout.

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel, it felt more like a resort hotel than a business hotel. The front veranda, beamed lobby with fireplace and covered porch off bar area with rocking chairs were all a nice touch. I took my laptop out to the porch, had a nice evening working with a glass of wine with the cool breeze of ceiling fans and birds chirping. Also, arugula salad with salmon was excellent!

Hidden back from the Freeway and close to many businesses in the RTP area. Warm chocolate chip cookies gifted when arriving in nicely appointed lobby. I would agree that this is much more than a business hotel, but had a very resort like feeling. Nice breakfast buffet each morning. Service at this hotel was outstanding. Rooms were comfortable and Wifi was good. I would go back next time I am in RTP area for Business.

The hotel is conveniently located near the airport and the Research Triangle Park firms, which I needed during this trip. For a recreational visit, I would suggest accommodations in one of the neighboring cities for increased access to dining and tourist locations.

The ambience of this hotel is fantastic. A large stone fireplace, soaring tiimber beamed ceilings, slate covered porches with oversized ceiling fans and comfortable furniture. Not to mention the beautiful property surrounded by trees. Lovely people serving us at the checkin, restaurant and bar. I highly recommend this hotel.

We had a 6:00 a.m. flight from RDU and thought it best to stay near the airport and take the shuttle. We scheduled the 4:30 a.m. shuttle but later the front desk informed us there was a 4:00 a.m. with a flight crew; did we want to get on it. We said yes since the 4:30 was cutting it a little close for our flight. No one was in the restaurant and we got great service with pretty decent food for a hotel. The hotel property was very nice and didn't look like a chain, especially one with easy access... Read more
