Family and friends converged on Charlotte area for the Carolina Rebellion at the Motor Speedway. A clean room and hot shower with breakfast sure beats a campground. Only a short drive to downtown, Charlotte Motor speedway and lake Norman. Outdoor pool was not yet open. Town of Cornelius has everything we needed from Starbucks to a Craft beer store.

We stayed at this hotel while looking at homes in the area. The staff was very friendly and efficient for check in. The pool area was great! They had toys for our young boys to play with which was a big hit! The room was very clean and comfortable for the 4 of us to stay in. The staff was very helpful for any needs we had. We had a great 3 night/4 day stay and were able to find a home in the area! :-)

This hotel was very nice. Although I checked in late, the hotel staff was very kind and welcoming. The room was clean and I felt safe there, which is important when you are traveling alone. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet which allowed for a great night's sleep! It was a little expensive, but I felt that I got what I paid for.

This Hampton Inn had just about the most comfy bed I've ever used in a hotel/motel setting, most of them being way too firm and leaving me achy the next day. The sofa-bed was a bit of a brick to sit on, but we didn't use it much so it didn't matter.

I've stayed in a lot of the hotels in this area. For one night this is fine - but there are better options nearby. The wifi is weak - can't stream. The a/c is good. The hotel itself is pretty quiet. Make sure that you get a room on the same side of the hotel as the entrance. Interstate 77 is very close and very loud. Good desk staff. We were travelling through and needed a place to stay and we always seek out Hampton Inns. Didn't seem so bad at first. Could use some updating and a little extra elbow grease to clean the floors in and around the elevators. Breakfast was plentiful but didn't taste the same...the potatoes and cheese and grits were overseasoned to the point that they were inedible. That's nitpicking. Our main complaint is that on the second day of our 3 day stay, the pool was closed. It was almost 100 degrees out... Read more

I had to stay in Davidson for a week for work. This was the hotel recommended by the college so I booked there. Pros: 1. At 99/night, it was very affordable for work travel. 2. My room was very clean. 3. It had easy access to the interstate. 4. There are some decent restaurants nearby. Cons: 1. This is a very old Hampton. The hotel is an ok place to stay, clean, comfortable, quiet and efficient. We stayed there because they advertise as being pet friendly. However, the dogs are not allowed in the lobby, breakfast room, elevator or anywhere except the room so "out of site, out of mind", not exactly pet friendly. There are no sanitary stations available and no good place nearby to walk the dog. That being said, there is no additional pet fee.

This place is great! Super friendly staff, great location and very clean. The night b/f we stayed here we stayed at the Microtel down the road and it was disgusting...stay away from that place and go right to the Hampton Inn...it's worth a few more bucks....
