Went to front desk two days in a row to complain about dirty room. Breakfast is poor First and last time staying here. There are plenty of other hotels within five miles of this location, find one of those.

I stayed at the Hyatt for a business trip. The rooms are very spacious, clean and I found the room to be very quiet, unlike many places I have stayed in the past. The breakfast in the morning was very convenient and filling. They offered scrambled eggs, fresh fruit, cereal, breakfast sandwiches, bagels, hard-boiled eggs and other options as well. It was restocked regularly and the area was kept very clean I would definitely stay here again!

We stayed at this Hyatt Place for the second time. Both times it has been neat, clean and in fantastic shape. We'll be back. It has great access to the interstate. We did not have any business in Uptown Charlotte on this trip, so it was perfect to get around to the places we needed to go.

Mostly good, but a few items were slipping. It smelled like someone had been smoking a doobie when we walked into the room and the pillows on the bed were all shoved to one side of the bed. Just seemed odd. Little things like the sink didn't drain very well at all, dirty carpet, missing end cap on shower grip that was a safety hazard and little things like screw caps missing and the shower door handles peeling the fake silver coating creating sharp edges. The main downside was the internet spee... Read more

Black mold. Smelly carpets. Poor repairs. Nice staff. The elevator stunk. Will never stay again. It is way over priced for what you get. I stayed at the Marriot for $75 less a night with much better accommodations.

The Hyatt was a wonderful stay. Far enough away from everything to be quiet and tranquil, yet close enough to the airport and several places to go for entertainment. The hotel facilities were beautiful, I'd definitely stay here again.

Our group was asked twice in 2 days to keep the noise down. We were doing nothing but socializing, meeting new friends and having a good time. But when you put 25 people on different floors in different areas and not adjoin some rooms so we are not bothering others. Makes no logical since for a hotel to not consider this when booking a group

The hotel features large rooms in a quiet setting. The staff is quite attentive to needs and very cordial. The meeting rooms are spacious as well if that is a requirement. I spent some time in the lobby seating area and found it to be a relaxing experience. Overall I was happy about the choice of this venue for the affair I attended.

We were traveling back from FL to NY and stopped here for 1 night. While we are generally pleased with Hyatt Hotels, this place was a definite disappointment. It felt old, poorly maintained, a bit grubby. And it was expensive compared to other properties. Wish I had driven a few extra miles and found a better place.

We stayed here the night before flying out of Charlotte for vacation. It was just what we needed - close to airport with Shuttle, very nice breakfast, big enough room for 2 adults and 4 kids, and a clean comfortable room. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Excellent value for the room. Hotel staff very courteous, room was spacious and clean. Brief stay to pick up someone from airport. Bed, pillows and linens were very comfortable. Airport shuttle picked up friend from the red eye. The Hyatt Airport Shuttle was running late so the other Hyatt shuttle dropped friend off and arrived at the hotel within 20 minutes of plane landing. I've always been a fan of Hyatt and certainly a fan of their standards. This is my first time staying at this particular Hyatt and overall it was okay. Stayed one night for a quick visit to the city with a friend. When we got to the room we had an issue with our television , however Yancy (staff member) came up very quickly to resolve the issue. The only real issue we had was the amount of time it took for the water to drain from the tub. Other than that, it was okay. Hotel was located in a grea... Read more

The Hyatt was clean and I had a great stay. The small bar downstairs is a nice touch since there isn't much close to the hotel. The only issue I have is with the A/C. There is no thermostat. The A/C is more like a large window unit.

Very convenient if you flying out of airport. Free shuttle to and from airport very good. Breakfast pretty good, room quiet. Only problem was duvet was noticeably stained and had loose particles of something on it. Also, no liner for ice bucket. I needed a hotel in Charlotte after my flight was cancelled. I was very happy with the Hyatt Place Tyvola. The rooms are clean and spacious and the hotel is in good condition. The staff were amazing--friendly and helpful. The beds are super comfortable. Like others have said, the air conditioning is loud, although not as bad as some hotels I've been in. And they have plenty of free parking!

Good breakfast but the breakfast area iwas too small for the size of the hotel, I ended up on the counter. I love that panel near the TV where I can plug my Roku! I think is a great value for my money.

This hotel was truly a disappointment in everyway! Although spacious the rooms need updating and a thorough cleaning. The bathrooms need to be cleaned and updated. Television channels are minimal, however beds are quite comfortable. I was awaken by maids in the adjoining room and in the hallways. After being rudely awaken a made coffee in the in-room coffee pot only to find lipstick on the coffee cups.

I really dont care to share my review bc I dont think anything will be done. However I will never stay here again. The maids did nothing, that left the sofa bed halfway in couch and not made up. Tub was dirty to began with, ac felt like a fan instead of ac. Customer service was horrible and breakfast was the worst. Old fruit and eggs tasted like paper. The bananas were so old they felt like marshmallows.

The hotel room was definitely above average. Loved having the living quarters separate from the bedroom. The only reason I can't go four stars or above was the condition of the pool, which we were all looking forward to. The water was surprisingly cold despite the Charlotte heat and very murky, more like swimming in a lake than a pool. Great room, very quiet! But front lobby is currently under construction, which means that space for breakfast is at a premium! Typical breakfast fare, but it would be nice to see offerings that do not have sugar as a major ingredient, such as shredded wheat. Gym had standard aerobic machines and some hand weights, but no real weight equipment. Biggest problem - when we used the room sink for water, the water was yellow! Bottled water really should be provided.
