Very spacious King size room w/ extra couch and desk area. I like how the bathrooms are split where you wont have wait until someone else comes out. Was very clean. We had a corner room at the end of the hall so we didnt hear any extra noises. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. No issues with parking even though the parking lot was being paved and we came back very late. I would stay here again if I was in the area. Was close to a lot of restaurants and shops.

We were here for a school function with the kids . Family of 4. This hotel is relatively new but is undergoing extensive rehab at the time of this writing. Where the rehab has been complete, the area is completely modern and beautiful. I imagine within the next few months this place will be a marvel. The room was nice with some of the most comfortable beds I have stayed on - very soft. There was a work station that was separated by a movable window to the bedroom. The toilet and shower w... Stayed here for a few days when in town for a soccer tournament. Nice hotel with plenty of parking and surrounding restaurants. Rooms are large with and extra room and sleeper couch. I would stay here again. Breakfast was decent hotel breakfast foods.

Hotel was nice. Rooms could be larger. Staff was very responsive and the kids loved the pool. Breakfast is included and has a variety of foods offered. Lots of restaurants nearby and the mall is at the next exit.

Overall this was a great experience for my my wife and I on our trip to Charlotte. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The room was clean and in great shape. We liked being able to sit on the sofa in the sitting area. It is a little unusual to share a TV between the sleeping area and the sitting area, but the benefit of the seating area is very worthwhile for us. The beds are very comfortable. There are plenty of dining options in the area. There is a nice mall one exit down on I485 to ... Read more

Make sure you get a room on the parking lot side or you will be woken up all night by cars and motorcycles peeling out on the very busy road on the other side of the hotel. Thin windows. The WiFi requires reauthentication after an hour or two of inactivity, which is very irksome. Breakfast is good. Clean new rooms. Close to stuff. Elevators are a long way from the front desk.

Very nice hotel, beautiful updated rooms, free breakfast, free parking and wonderful customer service. Kudos to Ramona at the front desk for happily fulfilling my millions of requests. Across the street from a shopping center..midwood bbq is delicious! Be back soon!

This hotel is in a great location. You can walk across the street to several good restaurants. The rooms are nicely laid out and the decor is modern and fresh. The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially the bartender who also took it upon herself to put a ticket in for us when we mentioned that our room was hot. That was a big issue for us. It never did get cold. Apparently, there are sensors in the room that will sense when there is no activity and adjust the air accordingly regardle... Read more

Pros: Pool area was clean, bathrooms were clean upon arrival, beds were comfortable and overall hotel appearance was well kept. The cleaning staff was nice as well. Cons: It was extremely warm in the hallways and the A/C in the room would work sometimes. They may need to check on the unit. Also, there was one staff lady there who seemed as if she didn't want to be bothered. All of my things fell off of my cart and she didn't ask to help or even seem to care. During checkout, I was charged ... Read more

I walk into the hotel and the lobby is unusually warm...'not pleasant to sit/linger. The room was extremely warm. I turned the AC on (wall control for window unit). It never did cool down for comfortable sleeping!! Pulled curtains for the next day to eliminate sun exposure; left the AC on. I returned and the AC was off...probably due to motion control and energy savings. That's ok, but again, the room never cooled down upon activating the AC. I think these window units just CANNOT keep u... Read more

And great location! Staff was always pleasant and ready to help. Room was very clean and although property is 7 years old it does NOT look it! Everything is well maintained, from the outside in. Beds were VERY comfortable and the location was perfect with lots of restaurants within walking distance and close to 485. Would definitely recommend and stay here in the future.

I stayed here for 2 nights for a business trip. The front office staff was very nice and friendly. The reviews about the hotel being warm are true. The halls were very warm and the room was pretty warm too but when I turned down the temp it was fine. The AC is pretty loud though. My room was mostly very clean however, there were 2 long hairs in the bathroom and a couple in the shower as well when I arrived in my room. The room apparently hadn't been cleaned very well after the last guest checked... Read more

Went down 7/24/16 to meet friends for Avalanche Club meet only to find that 4 of their vehicles had been broken into in the parking lot. Another guests car had also been broken into. I think the thieves hit 6 vehicles total. Had a few of our group's rooms were very late in getting daily housekeeping, While there I witnessed a person with reservations trying to check in at 7PM only to find that his room wasn't ready and I don't think there was a housekeeping staff on duty at the time. After suppe... Read more

Beware of this place. I've stayed in a few Marriot Suites and other lesser hotel chains in my time and this is the worst place I've ever been. All started well until I got a call at 4 AM in the morning of my first night to let me know that the police was downstairs and wanted to speak to me. It turns out that my vehiclke was one of 7 vehicles that were broken into that night. Visions of my vehicle sitting on blocks with my wheels gone and windows broken with my vehicle elctornics all stolen 1... Read more

I had the pleasure of staying here at the Spring Hill Suites for an overnight business trip. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The room was very clean and comfortable. I enjoyed the evening reception and the complimentary breakfast. I also enjoyed the close proximity to all the restaurants in the area.

I stayed there for two nights and both nights couldn't get any sleep. The room was sooo hot and the AC didn't work well, even though it was louder than a helicopter. Cleaning service sucks. Hair was everywhere in the bathroom and on the bed when we checked in. Since I wasn't able to sleep at night, I tried to stay in bed late and because I stayed in the room till 11:30. No cleaning service was performed. Even though the manager insured me that it will be taken care of. Seriously, this is a horri... Read more

The location is perfect for a walk to local restaurants and shops. It is a very nice area of Charlotte. Springbrook suites is a leader in nice rooms equipped to make a business or family trip more enjoyable. The living area with Tv coupled with the work area with a desk makes this a very functional space. When traveling with family the 1/2 bath separate from the shower area is definitely a nice addition. The beds are very comfortable which I have came to expect from a Marriott property. The work... Read more

Ballantyne area hotels are always busy. This property is no different. Very good location. I like the fact it's inside 485 far enough you are removed from highway noise. There is plenty of options in the area for restaurants, shopping, etc. At first blush, my room looked just fine. I like the space of the Springhill properties. The bed was in good shape, the sitting area was typical Springhill and in good shape. The lighting for the desk area could have been better, but I've seen worse. But... Read more
