The hotel was not what I expected. The carpet was not up to date, there was a sour odor in the hallway. The doors on the outside of the hotel did not work properly. The lights on the elevator buttons did not work. The breakfast had the bare minimal‚?¶‚?¶no meat, fruit, or jelly for the bread. I am a Wyndham award member, but if this is how all the Wyndham hotels look then I will be cancelling my membership.

I understand that this is a Microtel but it was so small and so old and dated I felt claustrophobic in the room ,the bed was like sleeping on the floor it was so hard and uncomfortable ,the pillows were these lumpy balls of I don't know what. The linens on the bed had spots holes in them. It was an awful stay and if I would've been staying more than one night I definitely would've left and gone to another hotel.

I wasn't at all happy with my room. First the Queen bed, looked like a full. The pillows needed to b in the trash and not on a bed.. Thank God I had my own, or I would have had to go buy some.. We went to the front desk to ask for more for my husband, but the one they offered was worse than the one on the bed. But I guess you get what you pay for..

The treatment and service of very good employees. The hotel is near the airport is very convenient, clean, fast service, good breakfast, fast internet. There was a delay in me at the airport, but it was a poorly understood that it resolved quickly. For the rest, excellent service. I recommend it to my family and friends.

The location was very close to the Charlotte airport which was great and the hotel had a shuttle service to the airport. I did not book directly through the hotel or Wyndham so I was appreciative that the staff informed me of the park and fly service that they offered. The staff were helpful and friendly. The hotel itself was in need of repairs and updating. I had booked two rooms, one of which was to be handicapped accessible. The handicapped accessible room was in need of repair. The doo... Living almost four hours from the Charlotte airport, we decided to come a day ahead and stay here the night before our flight. It made it easier for our departure the next day but, more importantly, it only cost us about $25.00 more than to come the day of our departure because, being a guest, you can leave your car there (for, I think, up to 21 days.) The rooms are worn and not very well maintained, surprising for a Wyndham property. (And the hair dryer didn't work.) The closest decent rest... Read more

First the positives. We stayed here primarily because we had an early flight and its convenience to the airport and because after booking a room, we were able to get extended free parking. The extended free parking made the room cheaper than our airport parking would have been. The shuttle to and from the airport worked like a charm. The motel is clean and appears relatively new. If it had not been for two negatives, I would have given it a much higher rating. One negative was the quality of th... Read more

While the staff was friendly enough, they are currently undergoing renovations here. The lobby was muggy and uninviting. I thought we could chance it and save a few dollars...after all, we were just needing a place to sleep before a very early morning flight. Unfortunately, the pillows were lumpy and our upstairs neighbors thumped and bumped until 2:15 a.m. They quieted briefly after we called the front desk. The breakfast doesn't start until 6:30 or 7:00 (which was of no use to us, as we l... Read more

This was a last minute booking when flights were cancelled at CLT and I could not get out until the next morning. I paid a little extra for a Queen Deluxe but there was nothing deluxe about it. The room was about 100 degrees as it was on the top floor, it had been a very hot day and no AC is activated except by the guest. The air conditioner worked so poorly that the room never cooled off. The positive- I was able to check in early. The negative not able to get receipt on departure and of course they overcharged me & refused to honor my Wyndham rewards gift card. Poor customer service in getting money refunded. Management said that's not their problem. Filed a complaint with customer care. Room was decent, breakfast scarce. Please note when you stay at places such as these don't expect a lot on the breakfast side.

While i was enticed by the price of the hotel. I was taken aback by the sheer size of the room and with me being a larger gentleman i found it hard to navigate through the room. Let my preface my remarks with - we saw the 8 x 11 sheet of paper hanging on a wall, stating the Inn was under renovation, on our way out. The young lady at the desk we met at 2 am was doing her best to check in the 8 or so customers. The slow-up was she was writing extensive information from driver licenses taking over five minutes. The van from the airport to the Inn was filthy - the return van was very nice. Other deficiencies would be cover by the - under renovation notice.

The hotel looks nice from the outside but once you step into your room you will find a different story entirely. There was paint peeling and water spots on the ceiling. The carpet appeared like it has never been cleaned. The pillows felt like the pillows your grandma has had since the 50's and only uses when there is an unexpected guest.

The Air quality is very bad. First night I stayed on the 2nd floor,(all non smoking, 3rd floor is the only smoking floor.) I knew and smelt every time someone smoked. The first night was awful having to smell that all night long and getting stronger ever time someone up above smoked. Requested to move for second night, so they move me to 1st. No smoke except for lobby area when I went to eat breakfast. I did have to smell moth balls.( on first floor at end of hall) guess they have snake i... Read more

Just simply not good from start to finish- initially placed in 1 bed room(even though receipt plainly said 2 beds), told to park car in back(upon return, car completely covered in sap and leaves), shuttle driver had sprained wrist and couldn't lift luggage in or out of the van, again initially placed in a 1 bed room, got to the changed 2 bed room, a friendly roach crawled out of the alarm clock, and then the parties started all around us. Thankfully, the a/c was loud enough to muffle a lot of th... Read more

looking at the negative reviews are misleading. this place is above average for the price. its clean, staff is more than friendly and helpful. if your offended by smokers, then your life must be tough. I haven't smelled any smokers at all and I have more important things to worry about anyway. I stay in many hotels in many states and this place is way above the national average and a very great value at that. at the front desk is a great host, Nazi, she is most helpful and maintains a warm wel... We have been using the Charlotte Airport Microtel for park & fly for about 6-7 years. We stay at least 4 times a year & this year were booked for 6 stays. The hotel cleanliness & helpfulness of staff have gone downhill the last few years, but it is a good price for a one night stay. Everything was okay until it wasn't! On Friday October 28, we were scheduled to leave St. Martin on a 2:17pm flight. At 4:30pm, we were notified our flight would not leave until Saturday. We have no internation... Read more

The African American lady front desk over night was horrible. I had to wait to check in until she finished her cigarette. I was very sick holding my stomach explaining why I needed a room asap even played out exact change and she still took her sweet time. I'll never come back Nagi and Nati were great help in prior stays.

The plaster in the ceiling above the window was coming down, the curtain needed another hook to keep it from dangling, the mattress sagged in the middle, the elevator always smelled like a skunk and the lobby begged for a make-over, however the price was right. Inexpensive stay for three nights while hubby and I had business events in Charlotte during the days. Would I recommend this hotel? Only if you need cheap. Oh, and on the first morning at 4 AM the smoke alarm in our room buzzed and bee... Read more

This was a basic hotel, with an easy check-in, convenient parking, and in an area with plenty of convenient stores and gas stations. Nothing fancy, and the room and bathroom could stand to be updated at some point, as well as the heat/AC unit. But it was a cozy room and there were no serious issues.

Very nice! The hotel is not new but perfectly acceptable upon entry; 2nd door of main entrance has a buzzer entry from the front desk who can see you coming so it's secure inside. The lovely lady on duty was expecting me (I arrived very late) and that was really nice, she was patient and professional when I had some questions about my booking charges online. Upon entry to the room, I was pleasantly surprised. The bed was well made with a comfortable mattress (I like them soft) and sheets very s... Read more

Very disappointed with the manager Nita very rude lady hell she's even rude to her co worked. Some rooms are cleaner but most of them are shabby. We've been staying in the hotel on and off since the summer time and its all cool but the prices go up for no reason 89.00$ for a room that don't even have a shower head. You can't even stop the tub up cause it don't even have a stopper.

Staff was friendly. Furniture worn, but bed comfortable decent.. This ice machine worked and room quipped with clean microwave and refrigerator, but tub drain drained slowly. Walking distance of gas station, Waffle House, and Chinese buffet. Had shuttle, but continental breakfast was obsolete at 9am. Was awake at 1:50am by the smoke alarm for ten minutes.

The Microtel is safe, clean and great for the Park, sleep , fly promotion. We spent the night at the Microtel and parked for a week. The total cost was $80. We left early in the morning so we missed the complimentary breakfast. The staff was friendly and the van driver got us to the airport with cheerful efficiency. We did have to wait 40 minutes for the van driver on our return but it is the busy Thanksgiving travel period so traffic was busy at CLT. If you are not expecting the Ritz, but... Read more

Small but well maintained and clean rooms. Friendly staff. Convenient to airport and provides a convenient shuttle. Part of park and fly program provided you stay at motel, so parking is less expensive than at airport. Slow internet. No breakfast till 6AM, but shuttle starts at 5AM for early flights.

Terrible place!! We have stayed at. Microtel Inn before and it was decent. This place was horrible. Clerk charged me $1 for a safe I didn't ask for, room smelled and was so tiny the fridge was blocking walkway. Turned on sink faucet and it broke off in my hands. We sleeped with our clothes on and pillows wrapped in shirts. Reminded me of an hourly rated motel.

The location, comfort of the bed and internet speed are great! The comforter had a huge stain that was dry. There was a cart of some kind barley holding up the microwave that appeared it would fall over any second. The desk chair was filthy and should have been thrown out years ago. The toilet ran all night ! A fair price for this property should have been 40.00 per night instead of 82.00. I would not stay again.

The people were not very friendly at all. The room was generic and outdated, the beds uncomfortable. The place didn't feel or smell very clean. The free shuttle on the way out was great. However, on our return, no shuttle showed up. Other hotel shuttles came and went, but not ours. I called and it rang 25 times, no answer. I called the 800 number and was re-routed to another hotel. So, we spent $14, plus $3 tip, $17 dollars for a cab back to the hotel. The free breakfast starts at 7 so i... Read more

We had a terrible experience at this hotel from the paper thin walls to no tv and the screaming match that occurred in the room next to ours carrying into the hallway outside our room. We checked into the room and found that the tv did not work cable wasn't even connected to tv. We tried to fix ourselves but eventually went to desk where we were told someone would come to fix. The way it was relayed we were confident that was not going to happen. The walls are paper thin so every conversatio... Read more

Deceiving website . Room was no more than 12 x 12 if that . Smell was awful. Bed was very uncomfortable. Air conditioning was terrible . I checked the website to make sure the accommodations would be ok since I was traveling with my granddaughter. Room was filled with mirrors. Felt very uncomfortable. Was not family appropriate. I receive a teacher discount and still paid $85. Totally unacceptable!
