$50 ontop of the room rate was unexpected. The room was also in poor condition. We won't be using this hotel again

The hotel was not what I expected. The carpet was not up to date, there was a sour odor in the hallway. The doors on the outside of the hotel did not work properly. The lights on the elevator buttons did not work. The breakfast had the bare minimal‚?¶‚?¶no meat, fruit, or jelly for the bread. I am a Wyndham award member, but if this is how all the Wyndham hotels look then I will be cancelling my membership.

The Hotel was just ok rooms need to be upgrade/painted and new spreads for the beds was very crowded in rooms with the small applicances that were there couldn't walk around the one side of the bed. Believe this could be a fire hazard

I understand that this is a Microtel but it was so small and so old and dated I felt claustrophobic in the room ,the bed was like sleeping on the floor it was so hard and uncomfortable ,the pillows were these lumpy balls of I don't know what. The linens on the bed had spots holes in them. It was an awful stay and if I would've been staying more than one night I definitely would've left and gone to another hotel.

I wasn't at all happy with my room. First the Queen bed, looked like a full. The pillows needed to b in the trash and not on a bed.. Thank God I had my own, or I would have had to go buy some.. We went to the front desk to ask for more for my husband, but the one they offered was worse than the one on the bed. But I guess you get what you pay for..

The treatment and service of very good employees. The hotel is near the airport is very convenient, clean, fast service, good breakfast, fast internet. There was a delay in me at the airport, but it was a poorly understood that it resolved quickly. For the rest, excellent service. I recommend it to my family and friends.

The location was very close to the Charlotte airport which was great and the hotel had a shuttle service to the airport. I did not book directly through the hotel or Wyndham so I was appreciative that the staff informed me of the park and fly service that they offered. The staff were helpful and friendly. The hotel itself was in need of repairs and updating. I had booked two rooms, one of which was to be handicapped accessible. The handicapped accessible room was in need of repair. The doo... Living almost four hours from the Charlotte airport, we decided to come a day ahead and stay here the night before our flight. It made it easier for our departure the next day but, more importantly, it only cost us about $25.00 more than to come the day of our departure because, being a guest, you can leave your car there (for, I think, up to 21 days.) The rooms are worn and not very well maintained, surprising for a Wyndham property. (And the hair dryer didn't work.) The closest decent rest... Read more

First the positives. We stayed here primarily because we had an early flight and its convenience to the airport and because after booking a room, we were able to get extended free parking. The extended free parking made the room cheaper than our airport parking would have been. The shuttle to and from the airport worked like a charm. The motel is clean and appears relatively new. If it had not been for two negatives, I would have given it a much higher rating. One negative was the quality of th... Read more

While the staff was friendly enough, they are currently undergoing renovations here. The lobby was muggy and uninviting. I thought we could chance it and save a few dollars...after all, we were just needing a place to sleep before a very early morning flight. Unfortunately, the pillows were lumpy and our upstairs neighbors thumped and bumped until 2:15 a.m. They quieted briefly after we called the front desk. The breakfast doesn't start until 6:30 or 7:00 (which was of no use to us, as we l... Read more

This was a last minute booking when flights were cancelled at CLT and I could not get out until the next morning. I paid a little extra for a Queen Deluxe but there was nothing deluxe about it. The room was about 100 degrees as it was on the top floor, it had been a very hot day and no AC is activated except by the guest. The air conditioner worked so poorly that the room never cooled off. In addition the toilet did not flush and after I finally got to sleep I was bitten by mosquitoes. The ne... Read more

We arrived at 2 am after our wedding to find ZERO parking. There may have been 100 spots. The smoking floors were combined so the hallways smelled of smoke. The room was insanely hot and took a bit to cool down.

The positive- I was able to check in early. The negative not able to get receipt on departure and of course they overcharged me & refused to honor my Wyndham rewards gift card. Poor customer service in getting money refunded. Management said that's not their problem. Filed a complaint with customer care. Room was decent, breakfast scarce. Please note when you stay at places such as these don't expect a lot on the breakfast side.

Stopped in Charlotte on our way to DC. Didn't book ahead of time since we weren't sure where we would get to that night. This was about the sixth place we stopped before finding a room. We stay in Microtels in many places and they are usually fairly nice. Lobby was small but okay. They had a room so we took it. Got to the non-smoking room that smelled like mold. Cushion on the window seat was circled from where rain had leaked in. Checked beds and the sheets were clean and bathroom was clean so ... Read more

They charge your credit card and won't refund your money . Had 2 charges for the same stay. Beware of this. It was the one on Queen City dr in Charlotte. Stiffed me for 54.12 Please beware of this Rooms are adequate , breakfast isn't bad but when you add in the additional money they charged me it's not worth staying there at all.

The lobby smelled like ammonia or cat urine. It was dirty. The lobby attendant just seemed to be hanging out with a friend and was rude when checking me in. The halls and room were at least as smelly if not WORSE than the lobby. The ammonia was mixed with cigarette smoke and a stagnant, rank stink. The AC in the room barely worked. The cushion in the window seat/couch was stained and sticky. The ceiling wad damaged, peeling and crumbling apart. (I took photos of all of this.) The bathroom was ... Read more

I would be ashamed to have the Wyndham name on this hotel. Was told my room had a one q bed and coach. The coach was on a shelf on top of the window sill. Bed was not a q. Room was so hot took over an hour to make the room cool enough to stand it. Breakfast was a joke. Everything we needed they didn't have even spray for the waffle maker. I will be requesting a refund.

While i was enticed by the price of the hotel. I was taken aback by the sheer size of the room and with me being a larger gentleman i found it hard to navigate through the room. In other words it was tiny. My experience with staff was a little different it was an abhorent pleasure of mine to interact with one of the desk clerks who did the bare minimum of speaking. Quite literally, a grunt would have been better. On of tge only thing nice was the waffles in the morning.

I was dismayed at the smell of the room on the 1st floor which had a strange odor, so I opened the window. It gave me a strange feeling to discover the window was unlocked. The smoke alarm had a strobe-like flash that went on all night. Otherwise, the room, bathroom and linens were clean. The hotel was convenient to the airport. The front desk clerk when I checked in was preoccupied with a problem of a stopped up toilet in another room and seemed less friendly than front desk clerks of other hot... Read more

For a bargain price when you're at the airport and only need a pillow and a shower, this is a contender. We were here flying out of Charlotte on a an early flight and then on our late night return. It met our basic needs at a great price.

Shuttle from airport was great. Friendly, helpful driver on the way to the hotel. Driver returning to airport not so friendly. Front desk helpful. Air conditioner only worked for 15 minutes or so at a time after which the room door had to be opened and closed to activate the remote airconditioner switch. Therefore we did not rest well. Overall fairly clean. Not worth $117.

Let my preface my remarks with - we saw the 8 x 11 sheet of paper hanging on a wall, stating the Inn was under renovation, on our way out. The young lady at the desk we met at 2 am was doing her best to check in the 8 or so customers. The slow-up was she was writing extensive information from driver licenses taking over five minutes. The van from the airport to the Inn was filthy - the return van was very nice. Other deficiencies would be cover by the - under renovation notice.

We had obvious water spots on ceiling that had been ignored for so long that the paint was falling off. The walls had paper coming off in large strips. All the blankets had holes. One bed was propped on a cpl of boards that tilted every time it was touched. The breakfast was ridiculous, barely existent. When we arrived the chain on toilet was broken, we called desk to have it fixed while we went for supper. We came back, it still wasn't fixed right, we had to hold the handle down until it comple... I used their Park and Fly option about a month ago and have no complaints. I've stayed at this property before, and it is OK "for what it is", at least for my purposes. They were renovating and the elevator was shut down, but I stayed on the 2nd floor, had minimal luggage, and I approached it as though "all elevators need maintenance and I just happened to stay here the day they were doing it". The TV set had issues, never figured out what, but I don't need a TV, so it wasn't an issue. The b... Read more

We stayed at this hotel in order to park our car there while we flew out from the airport. The rate was cheap and they had a continental breakfast which we thought would be nice. When we arrived at 9:30pm there were a lot of people just loitering outside the hotel. Turns out, they were all waiting to try to get rooms - the hotel was fully booked, so they were hoping someone wouldn't show up.
