I had prebooked a non-smoking suite. I asked when registering for a quiet room and was put on the second floor. No third floor non-smoking suites are available I was told. At 12:45AM I heard loud footsteps in the room above mine and something dropped on the floor that shook my room. I called the front desk and was told they would take care of it. But the noise did not stop. Will not stay here again

We stayed here after attending an event at Charlotte Motor Speedway... This was such a pleasant surprise. It was an easy drive [15 minutes] and it is SURROUNDED by food options... Even a Waffle House that is 10 steps away and open 24 hours! This is our new go to for the Concord/ Charlotte area and between! OH and PS the blackout curtains here are great! It is the best bang for the buck!

HORRIBLE: worst I have seen EVER. I seen two hookers come and go in the first hour. I tried to canceled my second night 30 minutes after I checked(front desk said I had none) and they still charged me for two. We were in the room for 3 hours and left due to noises and staff stated they could not do anything about it. I have been in third world country's and they rooms were better. DO NOT STAY HERE

Room & Rate were good except our room view was of some kind of fenced enclosure (trash? from adjacent gas station). View was about 4 to 5 feet straight into the fence. Additionally & inexplicably, used dirty sheets, duvet cover and pillows were on the floor in the hallway across from our room. They stayed there from 5pm to 10am the next day with nobody caring enough to pick them up. I suspect that everyone on our floor had the chance to see the lovely sight. Picked here due to save funds heading to the Races. Location not the best for access to the track but I knew that going into this. Pros: Staff friendly. Rooms decently clean. Cons: Area around this place questionable. Beds uncomfortable. Not enough Pillows (seems a common problem of late with hotels). Pool is clean but about the size of kiddy pool. T.V. was noisy and did not fully function. Smoking floor smells bad (okay that is somewhat expected). Continental Breakfast sub par even with co... Read more

Stayed in a suite. Nice and roomy with a bench across the window to either lay out and read or set things on. Vey clean/average breakfast/pleasant staff/great linens and very comfortable bed.we tried to stay in a microtel the following night in walterboro, South Carolina and the lobby and the service at the front desk was horrid and dirty. We will check the rooms first. Our visit at the Charlotte location was excellent. Good location. We would stay there again

This hotel was dirty and smelly. The lobby smelled like an old swimming pool. The elevator had a strong smell of bleach and my floor smelled like cigarettes. There is a floor ashtray next to the ice maker. My room reeked of a popular room freshener. I really dislike fake aromas. My sheets are stained (disgusting), so I'm sleeping on top of the bed. The Wi-Fi worked off and on. I won't stay here again.

Our stay was good for the one night we had planned to stay . We payed 82.50 each for 4 rooms we had to prepay with a non refundable policy to get that rate . We were in town for a special event and only needed the 1 night. We unfortunately got charged for 2 extra rooms that we did not book and because it was a nonrefundable rate we had a hard time getting the 2 refunded but finally did. This is the reason I never book through a third party but this time I did because the event was a charity e... Read more

My husband was traveling by motorcycle from Nevada and was picking me up at the Charlotte NC airport. He called the hotel and asked for an early checkin because of the luggage weight on his bike and a quick nap after traveling so far. The manager told him they don't do early check ins. He then asked if he could unload the luggage and leave it at the front desk until check in. Again the answer was no. We have had previous experience and was very happy with our overnight stays and reported the same. This trip we were staying 3 nights. The room we received was 1/2 the size of a standard room. The room just fit a queen bed, small 2 foot cabinet, TV Over cabinet and a small dresser. With our 2 pcs of luggage, which we had to walk around. The breakfast a year ago had many more options which this stay was about 1/2. For what received we were over charged. Will not stay or recommend again. Si... Read more

I stayed here last night with my friend because she had an early flight home and we didn't want to drive from Greenville SC at 3 a.m. The receptionist was friendly and the room had more than we expected. There were 2 beds, microwave, TV and refrigerator. The beds weren't pristine and there were some stray hairs but otherwise it was tidy and a good value. We were only there for about 12 hours.

This hotel is ok if your not looking for fancy. I stayed here for 3 days 6/20-6/23/2016 It's very close to I77 and tucked away in between a service station and a Waffle House. They have a free continental breakfast each morning which is also not fancy but ok. My wife and I stayed here for two nights. My first impression upon entering the room was, this room is small, which it is, one of the smallest rooms I can remember ever staying in. The desk is also small, it is actually a shelf attached to the wall. That is correct. You read the title "No HOT Water - NO Air - All Night". I can add to that no apology No Refund - No Comp or discount and NO CALL. I arrived at the Wyndham Charlotte/Northlake at 5PM.
