The staff was really attentive. The indoor pool and workout areas were really nice. Great burgers and breakfast! Walking distance to Target and Marshall's. There was a nice walking/running trail nearby. A roof deck bar is opening soon. The only negative was the design of the suite. I wish it had been divided into two areas for more privacy.

Oh my goodness love at first sight. I know this is a fairly new hotel but it's great. I had a room with a king sized bed. The decor of the room was immaculate reminded me of the W in Atlanta that I stayed at before. I can't forget the decor of the lobby and the lounge area. The one thing I didn't like was I ordered room service late at night and it never arrived and I eventually dozed off. just recently visited this property...the hotel was very clean and the room also was clean..no minibar...bathroom is very nice, main problem i had was the mattress was VERY SOFT it's almost like sleeping on the floor and the aircondition vent is in such a place that it blows down on you all night ---its terrible annoying...but if you can get past that this newly renovated property is for you...its not centrally located in the town but its not a long walk to gt there !!!

I've stayed here a few times while traveling on business. The hotel is not close to much of anything so if you want to venture out to other restaurants, you have to walk 10 or so minutes or take uber. The rooms are somewhat updated but the bathrooms are really small! Food in the restaurant lobby is good, although not cheap.

Filled with available amenities, this hotel is AMAZING! The entire staff was very friendly and helpful. I had a room with a king size bed with a minibar. When I'm visiting Charlotte and want more of an upscale feel, this is one of the first places I'll be checking for availability! Love it!

We stayed here because of a conference I was attending. first impression was of a nice hotel with very friendly staff. Our room was comfortable, until night time when we could hear everything around us. Including people who obviously had to much to drink and were trying to find their room at 3 am, toilets flushing and people showering. Stayed one night for business in June 2016. Lobby is so loud, and counters so high that no one saw me standing at checkin --with no other customers around. Really slow elevators, and on friday night--hard to tell who was in line for the room elevators and who was in line for the rooftop bar elevator. My coworkers and I chose this hotel because on their website it said free shuttle service. We had a 3 day event at the convention center. When we arrived we were told that there were cars they could call at a price but no free shuttle service throughout he day. One of my coworkers was in her 60s and in need of hip surgery. A very good location and design. Good food on the restaurant and friendly staff. The bad is that we found some hair on the carpet, there were stains on the conforter, and in 3 days of stay they didn't use the vacum cleaner. So, it's not super clean, but is a nice hotel. And you have to walk a lot inside the hotel to go from de parking to the elevator, unless you use the valet.

Very nice facility, room was updated and modern, clean, service from valet, to front desk to bar and food servers was very good. I have stayed here several times over the past year and it time it has improved. A new rooftop bar has now opened. Food is very good. If you don't want to stay uptown, I would recommend. Only a few blocks away and quite convenient to uptown scene, by walk, taxi or Uber.

The staff was very friendly. Always said hello and asked how your day was. At check-in the woman gave me an overview of the hotel and a toothbrush, which I forgot. The Le Meridien Charlotte is a wonderful hotel. It is beautiful and well kept. I found myself always being greeted by a staff member whether I was entering, exiting or walking around the building. Nice place to stay, adjacent to the Sheraton. More expensive than we normally stay. My husband and I both fell in love with the pillows. We called the hotel and found out how we could purchase some and are so happy we did. We are used to complementary breakfast so it felt odd to pay for it, and it was expensive. I stayed at this hotel for a conference - I was originally booked at the Sheraton next door, but my reservation was moved to Le Meridien due to overbooking at the Sheraton, which was fine. Reviews are pretty accurate. I strayed from my normal TI highly rated establishments and went here for rooftop bar. Staff was very nice, always telling you to have a great day etc, unfortunately the downstairs bar/restaurant was closed on a Thursday and no one seemed to know why. I stayed at Le Meridien Charlotte for the weekend to end my vacation. The service I received was phenomenal, the staff was professional and helpful. This is a beautiful hotel. The staff is very accommodating and pleasant. The rooms are nicely appointed and clean. My only complaint was the light over one of the beds was out. Otherwise it was an enjoyable experience. My room happened to be facing the street which made it even more pleasant.

I called myself going to Charlotte for a get away weekend and boy this was not the weekend to wind down. I went the weekend where Charlotte hosted the Veterans of Foreign Wars Convention. These sons/daughters of guns KNOW HOW TO PARTAY! I stayed on the floor where Alaska was hosted and I don't care if they were in a wheelchair they were PARTYING...but loved to seeing it. Chose this hotel as a nice respite from our week of traveling. Was hoping for a relaxing soak in the hot tub.Hot tub was not working as it was cold and didn't turn on. Outdoor pool was very cloudy and obviously not chemically sound. Drink prices are way too high as well. We've stayed in other downtown hotels around the south and have had great experiences. Staying in room 1863 right now. Prior to check in was asked by front desk staff if we wouldn't mind staying on the 18th floor near the rooftop bar which closes at midnight. The Hotel is located not far from the city center and near the highway for easy access. It has a nice bar and restaurant, plus a roof top bar that you can really enjoy during the summer time. Good rooms.

The room is very luxurious. We stayed in the classic king suite and it was worth every penny! Incredible view of the downtown area and to top it off, they have a very cool rooftop bar, fully serviced and staffed. Great drinks at fair prices. We would love to stay again since it is only a couple of blocks to the downtown area!

I live in Charlotte, but booked a room here for my daughters birthday. They were well staffed and everyone was friendly and helpful. I got a suite and it was HUGE! Totally worth the extra cost. The renovations in the public areas are superb. The banquet staff prepared great food and the staff there were very attentive. The room on the other hand? Dark, dark, dark. Bathroom is VERY small. For what we paid, I was very surprised. I've been to the Le Meridien in Manhattan, so I knew it was a very nice hotel chain, but I did not expect it to be so nice. Great hotel and great location. My room was on a high floor - right off the elevator - but it was huge. I was worried that I would hear the elevator all night but never heard it once. The exterior facade of the building is beyond tired; almost to the extent of being a deterrent. But the interior lobby, which I believe was recently renovated is really impressive. The service was great and I found my room to be more than adequate for the business trip that I was on. I booked via a booking site at what appeared to be a discount, so the value I received for the quality of stay was tremendous.

Stayed at the Le Meridien while in town for a family visit. Upon arrival there was a valet stand however there was no valet to park your car. The hotel lobby was very modern and clean. The lobby and hotel are very nice. The rooms excellent with very comfortable beds. Bathrooms spotless as you would expect. We stayed at Le Meridien because of the location, decor, and its reputation. The rooms are nice, clean, and spacious. Very sleek and modern. It appeals to the young professional. We were there during their grand opening of the roof top, and my only complaint was there was no DJ. But that's just being picky. We would stay again.

Honestly just wasnt what i expected. Staff was engaged at check in. No amenities explained at arrival. Room wasnt serviced the following day but whatever i guess. Kyle/luke..... i cant remember but he works at the desk.... he was very refreshing and attentive to my needs. Keep him around.

This is my first stay at a "Le Meridien" but not my first exposure to an upscale hotel. The Oriental in Bankok, the Ritz in St. Thomas, the Carlyle in New York, the Stafford in London - all wonderful. My room was comfortable and nicely made up but dimly lit. Worst part - Valet scratched my car and was very condescending about the entire ordeal. This was nearly 2 weeks ago and we still haven't heard back from their 'claims department'. Just stayed at this hotel and was very pleased. It is very trendy catering to a younger kind of Jersey crowd with it's many bars and nightlife atmosphere. Rooms very mod, clean and well kept. Price agreeable for the amenities offered. You do however have to pay 20 per night for parking and 10 per night for wifi which I felt was a little much and not competitive. The staff are excellent. We had a giant room with a great view of downtown. Bed was very comfortable and nice amenities like robes. We were near the elevator and one night it got rather loud when a group seemed to congregate their after midnight and continue their party - luckily it didn't last too long. Not really a Le Meridien quality property, having converted from a no-name hotel to a pretend upscale hotel. Very dark rooms, not at all set up for business travelers, and cheaply converted without achieving a quality image. Check-in a mess, with a full scale party 15 feet from the check-in desk and jet engine volume levels. Clearly more interested in running a rooftop bar than a quality guest experience. Avoid, unless you're looking for a party experience.

My room was fine but I had an unfortunate incident. I placed my room service breakfast order and immediately after I received it I got a phone call from someone purporting to be from the hotel. According to him there was something wrong with my charge card. He knew my name and the amount of my order. He proceeded to ask for my address, card number etc to " verify" my information. We evacuated to Le Meridian for Hurricane Matthew from Charleston, SC. I had stayed here before and had enjoyed it. They were SO accommodating to all the hurricane guests. The interior of the hotel and the amenities are beautiful. My stay was during the chaotic Hurricane Matthew which pushed the hotel to the edge in occupancy and needs, yet the friendliness and can-do attitude never faded from the staff. Overall a nice hotel although a little off the path of things to do in Charlotte. Most restaurants are a good walk or short drive away. The hotel is inviting and vibrant as are most all Le Meridien branded properties. Very clean and comfortable room. The bed was awesome. Front desk staff was extremely niece- thanks Luke. The Meridien has a very hip style and was clean throughout the hotel and our room. Our two issues were that the room's desk didn't have a lamp and the shower didn't drain well. Otherwise, the food and staff were all good.

This hotel is fine, not terrible, and far from great. It looks and is priced much nicer than it really is. I arrived in the evening, so no issue checking in, but many others I knew checking in that same weekend for a conference couldn't get their rooms until 6pm or later - that's just unacceptable. A beautiful hotel with modern styling, clean rooms, friendly staff and a wonderful rooftop bar. I really enjoyed my stay here. The only part that wasn't great was the parking. Parking was easy to find and access, but you had to walk a long, confusing route to get to the hotel lobby/check-in. I try to stay loyal to Starwood brand hotels. I value the quality betting and expectations of high quality service. Generally we look for and prefer a Westin or Aloft, but I was excited to try the Le Meridien. The week I stayed at the Le Meridien Charlotte most of downtown Charlotte was completely booked and I was glad to have booked a few months out. My fiancee and I stayed at the hotel Thanksgiving Weekend 2016. It's a great hotel. Almost 24-hour room service! Ample parking! Friendly staff! It's located downtown and close to the highway to get to where you want to go. We enjoyed our stay!
