Overall it was a great experience. The room was clean and everything we expected. We had a room with a microwave and a refrigerator for our snacks. The carpet had a few stains, but we will stay at La Quinta from now on, The staff told us they would be having major renovation soon!

The hotel was clean. We had a suite that had a comfortable bed. We used the shuttle service to and from the airport easily. The breakfast could have been a little better. The employees were very friendly.

I used my La Quinta points for a free room and they took care of my girlfriend who was in town for a medical appointment. Great service, good deal and very accommodating. Room was clean and quiet. The manger made sure she had everything she needed. Room service was available and she didn't have to go out for a meal.

When we checked into the Tryon Street La Quinta I was surprised at how large it was, and even more surprised at the size of the room. My first thought was that La Quinta is now featuring more spacious rooms. However, when I asked how long the hotel had been there I was told since around the 1980s. Therefore, unless this particular hotel was purchased at some point in the past from a more upscale chain (a distinct possibility) it would appear that La Quinta is now home to smaller, not larger roo... The rooms were spacious and clean. We were traveling from Florida to Pennsylvania with my dog so sometimes the hotel choices aren't as nice as this hotel. I agree with the previous reviewers that the carpet throughout the hotel appears old and well trotted on. The other thing I noticed like other reviewers is that the front desk clerk is over worked. There should be at least two staff members working the front desk during prime check in times. This poor clerk was answering questions, the phone a... Read more

Stayed May26,2016. Check-in wait was over 20min. Had two clerks behind desk. First room they gave us was had a foul musty odor and security locks on door were broken. Second room was better, but there wasn't a single towel, wash cloth, hand towel,or coffee. Pool was dirty and not open.Tried to use fitness room but couldn't because lights were out.

This is my first time at La Quinta Inn brand. I've always been a Marriott customer but I wanted to try something new, worst decision I've made. For the same price I can get a clean room at a Marriott brand hotel with hot breakfast buffet. This hotel is filthy, hallways with no a/c and bad smell, bad neighborhood. Their health score is a 90 which is a wake up call of what to expect. Will never again book a room with any La Quinta Inn location.

Me and my family and extended family drove to Orland last summer and stayed at this hotel for the night. We needed a rollout bed but it wasn't in the room. Went down to front desk and the clerk was very happy to help us. He also gave us extra towels and bedding. Had a very positive stay and rooms were very roomy. Definitely would book there for next trip down.

I don't like writing this but I was very disappointed with my stay at this hotel location. I was there from 5/31/16 to 6/5/16. First of all the lady who does the continental breakfast was so, so nice. I really enjoyed meeting her. Ann and Katherine with the housekeeping staff were so nice and helpful. The front desk named Aida and the one who was working when I checked in were great. However, the one who did my checkout on Sunday had no personality at all. Did not acknowledge me, just pri... We have stayed at this LaQUINTA the past 3 years on our annual vacation trip to HHI. It is a very clean and comfortable hotel. We have 2 pups that we travel with and the hotel's allowing pets (at no additional cost) is great!

I did not have a bed in my room I had a crater. There was an outer ridge and then a sink hole in the middle. The room was clean and the location was good and the service was friendly. Breakfast was ok. The usual cold options, bagels and a waffle maker. Not full service.

Hotel was very inadequate. Plumbing issues, wifi was non existent, phones didn't work, cleaning was SUB par by far, service staff were very lazy and not interested in doing their jobs. Spoke to staff about several issues, one of many were partially resolved during our stay, that's it.

I was pleasantly surprised staying here. The room was clean minus the fitted sheet not fitting the bed and the bathroom being slightly dated. The bed was comfortable and the fact that you could bring pets did not turn me away (not a pet lover). The hotel smells very clean and the free breakfast was perfect for a family of four who were constantly on the go. I appreciated that hot water was available 24hrs because I had to make bottles for the baby. The only thing was not having a room with a fri... Read more

This hotel was a nice hotel. The staff was very helpful with check in. The parking lot is very tight for any large trucks. If you have a pet this is the hotel for you. The traffic around the hotel is very busy during rush hour. Some restaurants in the area. The outdoor pool was nice.

Nice hotel, friendly staff, and breakfast could have more variety. We recently stayed an a La Qunita in Fargo, ND where the breakfast offered eggs, sausage or bacon along with other items. It was great. This one did not offer the variety.

My family always travel with our Caviler Spaniel and normally stay at La Quinta when we can because of the dog. We have stayed at this location in the past and were pleased. On this trip we got a room with an odor problem. When brought this issue to the attention of the Desk Clerk, it was handled immediately and were reassigned to a fresh room. We were very pleased with the new accommodations and service!

We came back home after a not so relaxing camping vacation in the mountains to no power. I spoke to Ms. Mary and she had a room waiting for us. Best hospitality by the entire staff. I have an American pit bull and he was welcomed as if he was any other breed and given treats. The hotel was very clean, you couldn't smell that it was pet friendly! My only suggestion is maybe updating the elevator. We will be recommending this place to all out of town friends!

This is an older hotel which need renovations & especially cleaning. I found dirt everywhere & especially the elevator. The carpets need cleaning & I would not take little children to this hotel. It was noisy with people talking in the hallways & dogs barking.

This is one of the nicest mid-priced hotel that I have stayed in. The room had a pleasant atmosphere, was nice size and very clean. I also appreciated the fact that there was no strong cleaning odor. I will stay at this hotel whenever I am in the Charlotte area whether it's for business or visiting mg granddaughter and her family.

We had a good experience at this hotel. We were able to enjoy the pool after a day of driving which was nice. I booked this hotel because it was 100% smoke-free, I hated that people were smoking outside by the pool. Wish there was a more designated place for them to do so. The shower pressure was awful, not sure how anyone can get clean in those showers.

This was a very nice hotel. the staff was friendly. My son had a great time in the outdoor pool. The breakfast was also very good. The only one downfall was that the toilet in our room had a crack in it. I told the front desk to make sure i was not blamed for it.

Needs thorough cleaning and updated. Carpets a little soiled. Bathrooms need updated . Staff is very friendly and informative. I didn't stay to have breakfast but buffet looked fresh and clean. It's more of a continental/light breakfast. The fact that pets are allowed is a plus! Being a pet owner that is what drew me to staying at the LaQuinta chain. However, there are people that stay that abuse this right as a pet owner and do not clean up after their pets.

The hotel is a little older, but the location was convenient for us. The staff was friendly, but the room we got smelled strongly of pet urine. It was already midnight by the time we checked in and we were leaving early, so we didn't ask to be moved. The smell was overwhelming and disgusting. I will never stay at this La Quinta again.

The hotel is in a great location to fly out of Charlotte-Douglas Airport. We spend the night, park our car on property during our vacation, and use their shuttle service to and from the airport. You pay for the parking, but it is more economical than the airport prices and when traveling as a couple with four bags, this is the only way to go.

We've been staying at this LaQuinta location for years on our way from FL to PA. Makes a great half-way stop. Staff is always friendly, helpful & courteous with weary travelers. Pet-friendly is a plus for us! Also the option to plug-in our electric car, as long as the space by the outlet is available. Wish they would add a dedicated space, but perhaps in the future.

The location was very convenient to the interstate and airport. Rooms were clean and comfy. The staff was amazing - VERY friendly and helpful. Was greeted with a smile and Tersa was so helpful in arranging out "park & fly" transportation. When we returned from our trip, the La Quinta driver met us at the airport with a nicely air conditioned van and ice cold waters. I cant say enough about how great the staff is!

I only resorted to writing this review after getting no response from hotel management. Overall the hotel seemed well maintained. Pool area was nice but the hot tub was not hot. Same temp as the pool. Pool towels looked like loincloths or hand towels. First the room key had a hard time opening the door from the outside to inside. Another guest helped me get in after watching me struggle saying it took him 20+ times one time to get it open. Then basically had the same issue with the room door. I love La Quinta for the ease of travel with our dog and while the room was not bad. It had a musty smell I thought. Then once we turned the air on I could smell urine. I'm sure some would expect this at a pet friendly hotel but this was a first. Let's ... Read more

First visit the phone rang every couple of hours during the night and didn't stop until we took the receiver off the hook. Next morning, the desk told me that a lot of guests had the same problem.
