The rooms were very standard for Hilton. The lobby provides direct access to a shopping mall, ymca (the hotel gym), Lynx light rail, and the convention center. Overall it was a good value. The executive lounge breakfast was good.

We booked this hotel though a third party website and stayed one night. Our room was not ready when we arrived around 11am, however we provided our phone number and were notified via text about 2 hours later that the room was ready. We were allowed to park the car before we checked in and were able to walk the city while waiting for the room to be ready. The location was good. My only qualm is the parking situation, but it's in a city so what can you do? The room was nice. The hotel was nice, and the location was good. Easy walking to multiple restaurants and the Epicenter. The breakfast buffet was really good and affordable. In room dining was also good, quick, and friendly.

No problems encountered. Not sure that I would pay, again, the rate we paid. $290 which included parking. Clean. Friendly people. Breakfast was good in the executive lounge. No complaints. But advice to traveler, $290 was alot to pay. Can do better at another Hilton Chain Hotel. I still like Hilton Garden Inns best so far. We are Hilton Gold Members so took advantage of the online check-in and digital key.

Very expensive for what you get. Very clean- no problem with that but room wasn't ready at 4:00 so digital check-in useless. Can spend half as much for a little further away and get more. We will NOT return to this hotel.

I'm not the type of guy that leaves reviews but I have to acknowledge that this hotel is a GREAT hotel and that it has many great elements! The staff members there are very friendly, professional and courteous. Once they learned I was an Army Veteran, they hooked my wife and I up with a Military Discount. My wife and I enjoyed a few drinks at the bar and then headed out to a friends wedding. The bar was very clean and provided a great atmosphere for us. I would recommend staying at this hotel an... Stayed for just one night. I originally was going to stay and the Uptown Hampton Inn since I have stayed before and it's nice, but this time I decided to stay a little further in town and at what I thought would be a nicer room. The carpet in the hallways needs to be stretched, shower floor looked dirty and stained, I adjusted the stream on the shower and the whole shower head fell off in my hand. Room AC ran the entire night and couldn't get the room cool at all. There are lots of hotels in ... Read more

My wife and I stay here every time we come to Charlotte. Accommodations were out of this world on our latest trip. Starting with the the friendly greetings, the complimentary executive level upgrade, and ending and beginning each day in the extremely comfortable King Size bed. We definitely recommend this hotel for affordable accommodations in downtown Charlotte.

Visited the Hilton in center city with the family for a school visit destination. Leveraging the points used as a "Hilton Honors" member. Recognizing that I stay during travel exclusively at Hilton properties. I was extremely disappointed in the treatment we received at the front desk from all encounters. The first encounter ... Maybe a bad day..., however each encounter until we checked out was non-accomodating. Very disappointed. They need a attitude adjustment with regards to customer service... Read more

Typical Hilton Hotel but pricey for sure! Nice exec lounge for rewards members but $14 for a glass of vin ordinaire (ordinary cab) was a bit much. Great service, clean, and friendly front desk staff. Got a text from my front desk guy within minutes and another the next day asking if he could do anything for me. That was a nice touch.

Pricey facility, lots of business people coming and going, built for convention type stays. Parking is a bear and not easy to then access hotel. Rooms are average though not outdated just allot of visitor traffic means less ideal for all rooms. Staff is nice, helpful, food service is average. For the price, would expect more.

Stayed here for 3 nights for a convention. This hotel is extremely convenient for access to the convention center; it was less than a 5 minute walk. That said, the room was VERY basic, but had a large desk/work space. The room was clean. It didn't have a fridge, but upon checkout, was told I could have requested one. Not sure why that isn't standard. Pool seemed nice, but was not used. Overall was ok, but would not bring a family here again.

Have had three stays at this property this year, and loved every one of them. The hotel is well-maintained, with a nice executive lounge and access to one of the most extensive YMCAs in the south. It is within walking distance of the home of the Carolina Panthers and Charlotte Knights, has several several restaurants and watering holes in the neighborhood, and has a great French bakery across the street from the main entrance. I look forward to visiting again and exploring more of Charlotte.

Average rooms. Poor space for clothes. No tub & shower set up is terrible made reservations 8 months in advance and requested a refrigerator for medication. Upon arrival I was told I would be put on a waitlist and I should just fill buckets with ice. I find this totally unsatisfactory. Additionally it cost $25 a day to park your car. Great location in the city! Clean, good rates, nice facilities. Hilton is always consistent. Little Disappointed in 2 double beds instead of 2 queens, but thats how they role. Big enough to accommodate a family of 4 overnight (2 teenage boys- but wouldn't work for an extended stay) Cool area to walk around. Restaurants within walking distance !

I've stayed at lots of Hilton hotels. This has a very central location and is a very big hotel. It's so big it's a bit anonymous. The executive lounge is as expected, but the blinding sunlight in the mornings (and no window blinds) make it tricky to find a comfortable table. Overall a good hotel though that gives upgrades without having to ask if they have the rooms available. A good Charlotte venue.
