This hotel provide great service, accommodations were very clean and nice. The hotel is very close to the university and there is lots of shopping and restaurants within minutes of the location. The only issue we found was the road construction in the area which had nothing to do with the hotel and it did not interfere with the peacefulness of the stay. We'd stay here again if visiting someone at the university area.

Too expensive for this old run down motel. For this amount of cash find a better place. They need to cut their rates. I've stayed at much better rooms for about $50 less. Be warned when reserving a room you cannot receive a refund once they get your card number.

Carmen was helpful, friendly and lovely to chat with. She deserves a raise!! She kept the breakfast buffet perfectly stocked and even helped my son learn how to use the waffle machine. It's rare to meet someone like that who has such an early morning job. She was a joy.

Felt at home. Entire staff was very helpful and friendly. Hotel is very well maintained and secure. Pool was very nice. Fitness room could use more equipment. It was pretty basic. The breakfast was excellent and the hours it was available were good.

Stayed there to attend a concert at the PNC Pavillion. Shuttle was available. Excellent hotel. Nice, clean, attentive staff. Breakfast was standard Hampton Inn. Burger King is right next door for lunch or quick dinner without having to drive anywhere.

The room was smaller than we are used to at Hampton Inns, and the breakfast was the "sandwich in a bag" rather than fresh cooked eggs or omelets. But the location is fairly convenient. I will say that the staff was very friendly and helpful. The fitness center is bare minimum which is not too good as the area is not nice for running.

As usual, Hampton Inns are of exceptional high quality of service, cleanliness, safety and value. This specific location is no exception. It was great. Except for.....breakfast. Seems like a small thing, but this is the first Hampton of hundreds we've stayed in that had microwaved breakfast sandwiches as the only hot meal offering. Disappointing, so I ate what I usually eat at home - cold cereal.

Nice hotel, good location, great staff during our stay. But we left an item in our guest room, called back to try to retrieve it, left a message w/ housekeeping, and never heard back from them. Someone could have had the courtesy of calling me back to let me know about my lost item.

Location was great for our trip to PNC Pavillion for a concert, but noisy hotel (construction outside and college-age kids staying at hotel). Fridge was noisy and had to unplug so I could sleep. Fitness equipment (treadmills, etc) appeared new and in great shape.

This hotel was far enough off the freeway to not hear freeway noise, but there were lots of sirens due to its location to a Hospital. Bed was comfortable...air conditioning worked well. As a Hilton Gold Member was offered snacks and bottled water. Sketchy area around the hotel, but it looks like it's improving? Other than the Burger King next door, need to drive to other restaurants.

We went to a concert at PNC Music Pavilion--this Hampton Inn was close and convenient. The location was safe with plenty places to eat and shop nearby. The hotel was clean, the staff was excellent and free breakfast all at a very reasonable price. The breakfast is a traditional continental breakfast with a few additions but certainly plenty of choices, clean and well stocked. We will stay here again when visiting Charlotte. You can't go wrong if you are going to the University or a concert!

The staff of this location was extremely helpful in all areas. They were able to accommodate an early check in due to us heading for a daylong concert. There were 2 double beds in our room. Both mattresses were very old. One of them was still kind of flat, but the mattress I slept on had a downhill slope on it. I have never had an experience like this at any other Hampton Inn. Mattresses get old. I get that. But when a mattress is so old that when you roll over on it, you feel like you are rolling down a hill: GET A NEW MATTRESS! That said, everything else was perfectly fine. Front desk was great. We stayed at this Hampton for a softball tournamnet July15-17. The hotel and room was nice and clean. Although there is some road construction going on in front of the hotel, the location was excellent for the tournament that was in Concord. The pool area was nice and needed after playing in 90 degree heat. The breakfast was good, but this Hampton did not have the scrambled eggs and Bacon/Sausage on the bar.

I enjoyed my stay at this fine hotel. I brought my 15 year old daughter and her friends to a 5 Seconds of Summer concert and shopping trip at Concord Mills for her birthday. We enjoyed a day by the pool, movies, dinner, and shopping as well as the concert. However, the shuttle service offer they had for the concert was extremely rediculous in price, $25/per person to go less than 5 miles up the road to the venue. That would have been $100! Excellent hotel, clean and very friendly staff. Parking is ample. All the businesses and resturants that you are familiar with, are within a 2-3 minute drive. If you are going to the PNC arena, is less than 5 minutes away and just straight ahead, and PNC arena parking is free, so please don't pay the $25 per person fee with those limo services, that rest on the check in counter.

A little disappointed. Our room for this stay appeared "shabby" when compared to other Hamptons or even our previous stays at this Hampton. Mattresses need replaced soon! Otherwise, the usual Hampton standard was there. We also had a third party join us at the last minute - no problem.

The hotel and staff were fine, but THE BREAKFAST SITUATION WAS HORRIBLE. Rather than heating/cooking the breakfast items (such as omelets, etc), this Hampton Inn provided these types of items cold - so each guest had to heat their own. We were given keys to a room down the hall so we could shower, and the first night was comped. By the time we left the room that morning, there were three... Read more
