Although this place was not terrible, it was the worst Country Inn and Suites I've ever visited. The primary reason is that It is being renovated. The room was in serious need of renovation. The parking lot is also in serious need of a resurfacing.

Clean place but smoke alarm went off twice waking my 15 month old due to employee burning bacon. We had to ask staff several times for clean towels and wash clothes before they were made available. Last we had several issues with the TV not working properly and internet code not received before going to the room. Internet worked great once logged in and breakfast was great there was a large variety

The fire alarm went off at 5 am for kitchen stove smoke and this seems to be a reoccurring issue. Also my car window was broken and my vehicle rummaged through in an effort to steal something of value. This also seems to happen on a reoccurring basis and the lighting was pretty poor in the parking lot. Beware.

This will be a nice hotel once all of the renovations are complete. The evening front desk managers could be a little more pleasant. It doesn't hurt to smile and greet people with a little warmth. But all and all my stay was very comfortable, we liked the internet access and the breakfast was great. I would stay again after the renovations are complete and the elevator is working. It was clean, spacious and pretty.

This hotel is still being renovated, although it was hard to tell whether the room we had was old or new. It was clean, generic and serviceable, but has a long way to go. We stayed in one of these hotels in at the Atlanta airport, which is head and shoulders above this place. When we arrived at 3:45, I was told that the room wasn't ready, and guided to the lounge where breakfast is served. Coffee and cookies were available. 45 minutes later, with a long line at reception and the phone ringing r... Read more

Carpet filthy. TV and telephone in 1st room not in working order. No acoustics and lots of noise all night. Shuttle not available when I needed it and had to leave for the airport at 6 a.m. for a 9 a.m flight. Breakfast started after my departure time, so I missed that as well.

We stayed at this hotel June 2016 during a road trip through Charlotte with 3 young kids. The lobby area was nice, but rooms needed a lot of improvement. The one bathroom in our room was really gross--i Never would have bathed a child in it. I'm sure it will be better after renovations are finished. Breakfast just felt messy & lack of clean bowls. We just felt an overall lack of customer service when we asked for linens for our sleeper sofa, they told us we had to come back down in 10 minutes ... Read more

Stayed here on July 5, 2016. Yes, they are currently under renovation. Personally, I don't see what all of the complaining is about on some of these reviews. The room we stayed in was completely fine other than the bathroom needed to be redone. It definitely shows signs of wear and tear and has a slight mildew scent to it. Other than that the room was fine. The lobby is VERY nice in my opinion and the woman at the front desk for check-in was extremely friendly and helpful. The pool was ... Read more

I'm generally pretty easy to please when it comes to a hotel. I fall asleep easily, I'm not picky about beds, and I'm not a neat freak. However...this place needs work. When you walk in the front door you'll think I'm crazy. The lobby is beautiful and freshly decorated and painted. Check in was easy and smooth. We had to fly out very early the next morning so we missed out on breakfast, however. When you head upstairs to the rooms things get interesting. The carpets in the halls were filthy. I k... We were very disappointed to find out that we were on the second floor of the hotel without an operating elevator. My wife had mobility problems and climbing stairs was difficult. The stairs were narrow and difficult to maneuver suitcases for our planned flight. The hallways on the second floor were also not air-conditioned. The staff was nice, the room was clean, and very adequate. The shuttle service to the airport was efficient and nice. There was no step offered for anyone with mobility pro... Read more

We stopped over on a 24 hour layover at CLT. The courtesy shuttle was a little late - but got us to the inn, just a few minutes down the road. Check-in was a breeze, but we reserved a king bed and got dual full mattresses instead. The front desk wasn't able to remedy the situation and said that there was nothing they could do. I have stayed in this hotel several times due to the close proximity to the Charlotte airport. It is a bit dated and is not the cleanest place you may ever stay, but the staff is the reason why I keep coming back. They are friendly and helpful and the ride to and from the airport is always a delight. Friendly, attentive staff...and you sometimes don't find that in a place that is spic-and-span!!

We stay here every year as we travel to Columbus, Georgia. It is usually a great halfway point on our drive. This year due to road construction and a 7 car accident on 81. We didn't arrive until 11 pm. Instead of a 9 hour drive it turned into a 12 hour drive. The staff is very accommodating but the hotel is undergoing renovation. We will stop there again next year because it is worth the cost of room and free breakfast. It is close to the on ramp to the highway.

The rooms were very dated and not the cleanest in the world. The breakfast was ok for a free breakfast. The part I had the biggest problem with is the shuttle.
