My boyfriend booked this hotel on his own, I had never been to a Candlewood property before. I'm always open to try new brands and I'm glad we ended up here on our weekend in Charlotte. Very clean room and the shower was amazing. The staff was very professional and helpful as well. We will definitely be keeping this place as an option whenever we are in the area.

Not too fond of this location but it was ok for the two nights we stayed and for the price. Room had a smell to it. The hotel itself need to be renovated. The rooms look like the pics posted just a little outdated. I think of you're just in town for a day or two and you're not trying to spend a lot of money then this hotel would be ok for just that.

I was excited to find an inexpensive hotel in the Charlotte area for my wife, who has to travel there for work. The rooms are o.k. and the hotel is very quiet and in what seems like a very good business-like location. The first night we stayed ,I let my wife go up to the room while I tried to find a parking spot. I saw only a few, but also saw a car with two guys siting in the car. I original thought they were just waiting for someone to check-in but shortly afterwards I heard a woman scream and... Read more

So we came to visit some family here and I was looking for hotels close by them. I found this one and few others but this one was only 10min away and a bit cheaper than the others. No complaints here clean room on the third floor with almost all you need in the kitchen plus a comfortable bed and a recliner to relax in. Quiet and almost secluded area the only thing bad about the room was the curtains didn't close to block out the light from the parking lot but still slept great. All in all would ... Read more

Stayed here for DMB concert at PNC Music Pavilion. Location was very convenient to the venue (~5 minutes) and close to several restaurants. Can't say anything negative about the hotel. Check-in was quick and the staff was very friendly. Room was very spacious and clean. Full kitchen, desk and TV was very modern. They also have a large selection of snacks/drinks available 24/7 which was nice for after the concert. Highly recommend here if attending a show at PNC. This place is very conven... Read more

The hotel seems nice, as do the rooms - initially, my expectations were exceeded, and I am one of the pickiest people, especially when it comes to public places such as a hotel. The furniture was streamlined and nice - updated, EXCEPT the fridge and stove...it was like, they looked at their budget and decided to cut funds for the fridge and stove, but updating everything else. It's an extreme eye sore, but everything else was nice. My main thing is always bathrooms and the bathroom was nice. I'm... Read more

This is a corp hotel, and was the dirtiest I have been in. They checked me out while I was still occupying my room, . All my personal items were still in the room of a 6 week stay . items were missing

We booked this room to attend a wedding in the area. We knew that it was a long term hotel, where you might stay for a week or more, but we liked the idea of a little kitchenette. Unfortunately these hotels often lack things that you might expect in other hotels, such as a pool, or an ice machine, or breakfast area. Our room was a handicapped room, not sure why, we did not request it. This meant that our bathroom had a handicapped shower (can roll wheel chair in), which felt more like a lock... Read more

We've stayed here several times when we're in town for the AutoFair at Charlotte Motor Speedway. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The rooms are always clean and comfortable. The location is good because you're close to the interstate, but still not on top of everything. The only bad thing is getting in and out of the hotel because of the u-turns you have to make.

I've stayed her a few times and it is just average. Clean and comfortable place to spend the night but I don't think I'll go back. You don't even get a complimentary grab and go breakfast. Grab and go was bad enough but now you have to pay for it on the "honor system". Ridiculous. I am officially dishonorable because I'm not paying for an item that is complimentary at every other average hotel.

We have spent two weeks on vacation and this was the first hotel that was well under one hundred dollars. The water pressure was great. They had extra ammenities like laundry and a kitchenette. The appliances were dated but the rest of the room was updated. The water pressure was awesome in the shower.

Enjoyed my stay here several times, Impressed by friendliness and responsiveness of staff and overall value of this property. Convenient location near UNC is right off Harris near Tryon, but there is no big sign outside so suggest using a maps app to find it. Staff is friendly and always greets me with a smile. Free popcorn in room and old rental movies, if you have time to enjoy. Vending machines for breakfast and several frozen food items. If you need a large work space to spread out your... Read more

This hotel was in a bad location and was dirty. The walls and doors were filthy and looked like they have not been wiped down in years. We booked it through hotwire and it says on the hotwire site (along with all other travel sites) that they have tempurpedic beds. They DO NOT have tempurpedic beds. The manager was unwilling to make it right. I would advise you to stay far away from this hotel. It appears old and not kept up to standards. There were cars with loud stereos out in the parking lot.... Read more

I stay here for 6 nights thinking it was a deal for $78. And I got what I payed for. First the beds are hard woke up to back aches every morning. The room smell like mildew I had to burn a scented candle. I seen a roach or two, and my toilet ran for three days I told the front desk they said the maintenance man was out sick and it will be fixed tomorrow. It was never fix when I check out Thursday 9/16/16.. They didn't even say nothing. That's why I say this hotel is for truckers just for a quic... Read more

We stay here every year during the Coca-Cola 600 Race Weekend. My daughter and I stayed last year, and this year added my mother to the list. Other than the pull-out sofa bed being horrible (as most are), I have absolutely no complaints. We loved having the kitchenette, and being convenient to everything with a wonderful location.

From the moment we arrived we loved it here! The front desk people were always very nice and helpful, even with impossible requests. Our room was very spacious and included a desk big enough for me to do school work, a kitchenette and huge bathroom. We are booking again for sure!

I've always been leery of these hotels due to the lack of amenities. Even though lacking breakfast & maid service, the room was very well equipped with kitchen appliances & & cutlery to prepare my own meals in my room. Shamica was a very friendly front desk clerk making me feel welcome! Pantry had plenty to offer without making a trip to grocery store. Room was large & clean! Would give it 5 stars if it had breakfast!

This was our first stay at Candlewood Suites and we will look for these properties on all of our future travels. The room was spacious and quiet, the beds and linens were comfortable, and the kitchen was well equipped with everything needed to fix anything from a warm up to a full meal, including cutlery. Even though no breakfast was offered, free coffee was offered 24-7 and we had plenty of choices for in-room meals. The front office staff was very friendly and welcoming. The location was c... I got this room at a very good discount through my AAA of the Carolinas card. If you have one try that. It was cheaper than what i found on Hotels.com. This is an extended stay hotel so the room had a full kitchen and cooking utensils as well as a large work area if you need space. Room was clean and no smoke smell. Comfortable bed and i took a look at the mattress and box spring set, it was new. very nice. They have a decent size work out area that was away from the rooms so noise from there w... Read more

If you're looking for a decent place to stay a couple of days on the cheap, this is a great option. The kitchen suite lets you cut costs from eating out, and the room I was in was clean and comfortable. The area around the hotel is fairly quiet, and all the staff I spoke to were friendly and accommodating. All in all, I had a pleasant stay and would consider staying here again.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. We were in town for a twelve day business trip. We have stayed at Candlewood Suites in the past. We do like the extra space, even in a standard queen room, the kitchenette with a full fridge and freezer. This is a pet friendly hotel so there are no rooms that pets don't stay. I'm glad I brought some essential oils. The peppermint helped and the windows can be opened. There was some wear. The microwave died on our watch. There were some weird spots on t... Read more

The hotel it self was great clean, modern, great staff. Only thing that is keeping me from giving 5 stars is the noise from the street near the hotel. I stayed on a Friday night and there was drag racers next to the hotel from around 11pm-2am I was unable to sleep from the loud noise of tires burning out and engines racing up and down the street. Normally I would say that's a free car race shoe and fun to watch but that night I was trying to sleep since I had an early morning
