"I understand that this is supposed to be a two star hotel, but i wouldn't even give it one star. How it is still open is beyond me! The 1st night we were there, we opened the door to smoke galore. Even though i asked for a non-smoking room, i let that go because we were tired and just wanted to sleep. Then, pulling back the blanket revealed stained sheets. My boyfriend called up to the front desk for fresh ones; the rude concierge informed us that there were no clean sheets available at all. He then asked for extra pillows since the ones provided were flat as a board. The pillows arrived the next day at 9:00 AM. The bathroom was atrocious and two of the lights didn't even work; not to mention the carpet didn't even look like it had been cleaned in weeks! That next day, Sunday morning, we were awoken at 8:00 and then again at 9:00 for cleaning services. (We were still in bed for both unwelcome alarms.) The second time, the cleaning lady actually opened the locked door and started to come inside until she saw someone laying in the bed and me walking towards the door. At 11:30, a man whom i assume is the manager, knocked on the door and practically yelled at us to go check out because we were past the 11:00 o'clock check out time. I assured him that we would be on our way soon and apologized for the inconvenience. At 11:45, the man that had brought the pillows the previous day came banging on the door yelling at me and my boyfriend that we were past checkout time and that it was time to go because we were getting him in trouble because he couldn't get in to clean the room. He was yelling hysterically to the point that i couldn't hardly understand what he was saying. We finally just shut the door as he walked away screaming. We were one of the cars in the parking lot. I don't know why it was such a big deal. I planned on reporting all this to the owner or general manager but when i walked in to the lobby to checkout of the motel, the two men i had talked to before were being yelled at by another older man whom i assumed to be their boss. I did not want to be disrespected again so I turned in my keys and told them to have a good day.
