Southern Hospitality at its best! Clean, comfortable and accommodating service. The staff was friendly and very responsive to my needs ie local cab referral, free shuttle to Friday Center and shopping, early check-in, nice pool, great breakfast!

Loved the location in relation to Durham, the cleanliness of the facility and rooms, the price/value, the ease of check in/out, the complimentary breakfast option/selection, and the helpfulness, professionalism and friendliness of the staff. Would highly recommend without hesitation.

The fares were reasonable during graduation weekends. This hotel provide excellent service from their staff. The rooms are an older style Hampton Inn, but they are clean and quiet, and have good amenities. The location is close to I-40, NC-15-501, and only a few minutes from UNC-Chapel Hill. Within 15-20 minutes of Raleigh & Durham. I will choose this location again.

My room was clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and accommodating.I enjoyed the breakfast. The only issues I had were that the toilet tank was loose and the dust ruffle was very wrinkled. I mentioned both of these to the staff at checkout.

I come to Chapel Hill a fair amount for business. This Hampton Inn is conveniently located and generally offers good value for a stay in Chapel Hill. Free parking and complementary breakfast are not necessarily available with hotels closer to the downtown area, so that is a definite plus. If you need a place to stay that is reasonable across multiple dimensions, I would recommend this Hampton Inn.

This hotel is always clean and rooms are very nice. Kitchen manager is superb, lays out a very nice breakfast along with having conversation with the guests. I would recommend this hotel in a heartbeat. The Hickory Grill is right next door and it as well is very good.

This is the best Hampton Inn. This was the second time we booked them because the staff is excellent. General Manager Patrick and Kimberly are very hospitable. Definitely recommend staying here, you won't regret it. #threeladiesandababy

The staff was so friendly and accommodating from the front desk clerk to the housekeeping people. Two maintenance people said good morning to me and I was actually startled and had a delayed response. This was prior to my 1st cup of delicious Hampton Inn coffee.

We stayed here on a quick overnight trip during a baseball tournament at UNC. This is one of my favorite hotels to visit because the folks are friendly and it is always clean. The breakfast is great with fruit including blackberries, oranges, pineapple and grapefruit and with waffles, eggs, oatmeal and much more! Great location if traveling to UNC for any reason.

I stay in Hamptons all the time and have come to expect a lot from the brand. This hotel was OK but I would not give it rave reviews. The carpets and elevators are looking a little shabby which is always a tell tale sign that maintenance is not up to par. The shower in my room was aged looking, dingy, and had home remedy type patchwork repairs. There were rust stains and overall I didn't feel like the bathroom was a super clean place. The rest of the room was OK but carpets seemed dirty whi... Read more

This was a good value for the price, and we'll stay there again. I was acknowledged as an Honors member and everyone was very friendly. My wife dropped a jacket on the way to check out, and a staff member was carrying it up to the front desk as we returned to find it. A very nice stay, overall.

Hampton Inn staff was professional, courteous, and friendly. I felt comfortable here as I prepared for meetings and had access to the services needed to present myself professionally. i appreciate the breakfast and happy hour. We stayed in a king, not a suite, but still spacious. All was tidy and well-maintained. Good breakfast, as others have noted, and helpful and friendly staff (thank you Mr. Click). If you are moving around the area (Chapel Hill, Durham, Raleigh, RDU, Triangle), the location off I-40 is central, but expect to drive to restaurants and other attractions.

I spent the past weekend in Chapel Hill at this Hampton Inn, and I was very pleased. The room appeared recently updated; the bed was very comfortable. Housekeeping replaced the depleted toiletry bottles. The business center was easy to use and provided a printer when I really needed one. The staff were courteous and friendly. I loved all of the UNC photos on the wall. Go Heels!

Nicely Decorated, CLEAN, Conveniently located near highway. We stayed here after a day of driving on our way to the Outer Banks. Staff was professional and courteous. Our rooms were clean and nicely decorated. We were very comfortable there. There was a pretty pool (we didn't stay long enough to use) that was our view from our window. The complimentary breakfast was satisfactory. Room had a nice refrigerator to keep our food cold.

The rate was good. The breakfast was nice - oatmeal, waffles, eggs/bacon, breads, yogurt, etc. Pool area was nice with greenery. Check-in was easy. Our room was clean. Beds comfortable. Only downside in room 407 was a filthy shower ceiling and a tub surround that could really use an upgrade.

Our one night stay - for a volleyball camp (with our daughters') at UNC the next day was good but it could have definitely been better. As Hilton Honors members we have come to find (over the years) that each portion of the Hilton brand has its pros and cons. With Hampton, the breakfast and hospitality has always been a pro. However, at this Hampton, the breakfast area was messy and disorganized. Not once during our stay was the Suite Shop stocked well - in fact it was a disaster. Furthermo... Read more

Staff was welcoming, the rooms comfortable. The breakfast buffet had the usual faire but the coffee was outstanding. The linens on the beds were the best I've slept on in a hotel, I wished I'd asked for the brand. There was only one minor housekeeping misstep which the front desk was able to handle immediately. I will be staying at this hotel when my son graduates from UNC. Very family friendly.

The staff at this hotel were very kind and accommodating. The breakfast was better than many Hamptons I have stayed at previously. I liked the fact that the breakfast stayed open until 10 am every day including weekdays. They also had cookies, lemonade, ice water in addition the coffee in the lobby area during the day which was a nice extra :).
