First time disappointed staying at a Hampton Inn. On Saturday maids knocked on door even with do not disturb sign out. Some at 3 pm used a key card to open the door unannounced and quickly left since the inner securicty latch was in place. Maids did not clean room there was hair in shower and dirty tissue on side of bed. Check our bill did not reflect the discount promised for issues faced until calling when arriving home, it was taken care of after I had to call.

Room smelled of smoke but was a non smoking room. Staff was good. King sized reservation got Queen bed at best. You surely can fix the smell in that room. My clothes and apnea machine still smelled like smoke after I got home.

quick and easy stay - room and sheets clean - breakfast and coffee were very good and staff friendly and available to answer questions. only bad point at all was the pool was closed for inspection time.

My husband and I had a lovely stay at this hotel. We chose it because of the location to an event we were attending. The staff was friendly and our room was very clean. Plenty of towels, more than enough fluffy pillows! The bed, while on the softer side, was comfortable but sleeping on it for two nights was enough for me. I liked the privacy shade that let in light but no one could see into the room. The breakfast was typical hotel fare but there were lots of choices and I especially liked ha... Read more

The staff is very accommodating and the food was good. We were always greeted when walking by the front desk. We would stay there again for sure. The pool, not so good. Needed to be skimmed and water was freezing. But, it was May. I wish the pool was heated, would have been nice to go swimming after a 10 hour drive to hotel.

Tried to put us in a smoking and stated I asked for it when I have never smoked and then tried to put me and 3 kids in a single bed room. I did get fixed after 45 min and then the stay was great after that

The absolute best bed and pillows at a hotel I have ever had. Nothing helps with a good nights sleep more than that, well almost nothing. Clean, fresh linens and just the right firmness and I woke up refreshed and felling good, not stiff and aching like most hotels beds leave you feeling when your feet hit the floor.

Never cleaned our room. They took our dirty towels but never retuned with clean towels. Had to ask for clean towels. Breakfast was not fresh and unlike any Hampton I ever visited. Great location is the only nice thing I can say that is positive.

To start with, the front desk staff was very friendly. The entire property seems a bit dated, but it is clear they try very hard to maintain it. The room itself showed some wear, but was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was unusual in that they did not have the usual hot items like scrambled eggs and sausage, rather they had two microwaves and a refrigerator full of microwaveable breakfast foods. Not saying this is bad, just haven't seen this at a Hampton in years. All in a... Read more

I was in the area for week's stay. This location is beautiful. There is a gas station and convenience store adjacent to the property. The grounds are beautiful and so is the hotel. I had a jacuzzi suite which is big enough to house an entire family. I can't say enough good things about this location. I wish all Hamptons were like this one. A special thank you to Ms. Ducy at the front desk.

I stayed at this property due to all the great reviews. My room literally smelled like poop. I was sniffing around trying to find the source and couldn't figure it out. Maybe a toilet overflowed at some point??? Turning the TV on is not a simple task. You must first turn the TV on initially. You will hear sound but the screen will be black. You must let it run for a little while and then turn it off and back on again. After this, you will then have sound and picture. The property is definitely s... Read more

Lobby area is very small /dated. The business center is basically nonexistent (In hallway adjacent front desk?). The breakfast was very limited, not what you usually get at a Hampton. Fitness center was small with very little equipment. I am a honors member and plan never to stay at this hampton again! A more modern Doubletree is nearby and only a few dollars more each night.

We have had a great day and a great state of North Carolina. We really appreciate the fact that hotel respects our values as well as all citizens. The hotel's amenities were in tiptop shape. We were a little disappointed that we had to take double size beds instead of a larger but that was more the fact that we were just walk-in customers and had not booked earlier. The hotel staff was very friendly, the manager helped find a restaurant for us for dinner.

My family's hotel of choice is Hampton Inn. Never been disappointed & we travel a lot for our two teenagers travel ball teams. This Hampton Inn was old. Carpet in common areas smelly, lumpy & ripped in quiet a few places. Rooms had old mildew smell. Beds so soft, you rolled to center. There were 3 towels in the room & no more delivered even though I called twice. Air conditioner noises were loud & changed all the time. The breakfast was frozen pre-made Sandwich things that were horrid. Ta... Read more

Whenever I travel I stay at a Hampton Inn. I feel welcomed by the friendliness of the reception staff and pampered by the housekeeping and complimentary breakfast staff. The beds and pillows are very comfortable and all the complimentary amenities really add to my overall stay. As a return customer I feel appreciated here. And the price is always right.

Traveled on business, rate was decent and location good for my meeting. This Hampton is the old style, which can be just fine, however this one was not fine. Room was shabby looking at best, shabby not shabby chic. The bathroom was not clean, mildew ,door was gross, someone went crazy with a caulk gun , probably covering mold. The phone looked like it had not been wiped down for years...yuck. Certainly not expecting first class accommodations but expect a nice clean room from Hampton. Breakfast.... Read more

The price for area was good being under a $100 and just a short drive to a concert we came to Cary for. That low cost left me less frustrated with the wobbly bed and the less than delicious breakfast. The staff was competent and did their job , but they just seemed to put up with the customers and did not really appear to enjoy helping us. I have had worse stays at hotels, but I will look at other options before going back to this hotel for a second stay.

The hotel was located in a beautiful setting with easy access off of Main Roads. The entire facility was very clean but the thing that truly sets it apart is the staff. I don't believe I've ever experienced such a friendly and welcoming front desk lobby group of people. They actually made us feel like they appreciated the fact that we chose to stay in their hotel. I really like the location of the Hotel in a very nice area. The rooms were very clean, but a little dated. But kudos to the staff. Everyone was so accommodating! Being that it was a convention it was very busy, but the staff went out of there way to take care of us. I didn't get the name of the lady in the breakfast area, but she really needs accommodation for the kindness shown to everyone she met. The girls at the front desk were very helpful too. This is a typical Hampton Inn that is a little aged. I found the room to be fair condition and the value pretty good. I requested a first floor room and received a top floor room. Also, I thought it had an indoor pool, but it only had an outdoor pool.

The desk staff and breakfast staff are very helpful in this hotel. Sadly, the property is in need of renovations. It is rather dark and dreary in the halls and guest rooms. The guest rooms could use more lighting. I was not pleased to see a heavy layer of dust on an easily reached and visible shelf in the bathroom. Looked as if that shelf hadn't been dusted for quite some time. So, the cleanliness could be improved.

Quiet property... well maintained/clean.. typical Hampton Inn, with pleasant staff, great breakfast with oh so friendly breakfast attendant (sorry, name escapes me?).. make your own waffles, and pick your toppings seemed to set this breakfast far apart from the fairly typical continental breakfast offered by competition. Will gladly stay here again if our travels take us to this area. Convenient location!

I was in Raleigh, NC for work, which was a 15 minute drive from this Hampton Inn. The hotel is across the street from a few shops and just a few minutes from the freeway. The rooms were clean and the Wi-Fi was good (some Hampton's have very bad connections). The breakfast is a little different .... instead of having the food in the warming trays for mains they have a fridge with frozen choices you can put in the microwave. They do still have the waffles, pastries, bagels, juice, etc ....
