Hannah, who checked us, in was really efficient and we were in our sixth level near corner room in just a couple of minutes. Hannah also reminded us of "happy hours" between 5:30pm to 7:30pm. The centre indoor garden and pond feature were delightful. Our room was excellent and spacious, seemed to have been renovated recently. We particularly like the level of lighting in the bedroom and the bathroom and at the little vanity table. Terrific for my wife doing her make up before going out. Breakfa... Read more

I have been staying at this hotel for a few years and have had great service and accommodations every time. The reception desk is always glad to help with anything you need, the bartenders always greet you with a smile, and the food is good. I will continue to stay here when I am in the RTP area.

Everything was wonderful. Very clean and convenient to a lot of things. I would like to see more Turkey product on the breakfast bar. Evening reception was the highlight for me. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Gym could use some more weight equipment but nice.

Hotel, reception, and breakfast were awesome. Only issue was a couple of groups of really loud, relatively unsupervised, kids and teenagers who spent hours in the pool area screaming and running over everyone else there. It would have been helpful for someone who worked there to ask the group to calm down. Otherwise it was a great stay!

Stayed for 3 nights therefore I got a good feel for this hotel. Many great points that I think most people would enjoy, but extreme bad points that stop me from future stays. I will start with the good...the staff is very friendly...especially Johanna at the front desk. Maintenance guys, housekeepers and restaurant staff all understand great customer service. Simple things they did went a long way, for example...holding an elevator with a smile, nice greeting as you pass by, or offering to t... Read more

My wife and I stayed overnight to attend a friend's wedding. We quickly checked in to change clothes and didn't return until midnight. Neither of us got much sleep because the A/C fan unit was so noisy. Our friends who stayed down the hall had the same experience.

This hotel is a beautiful place to relax after hours on the road. My family stayed here during the Black Heritage Championship Meet. The breakfast buffet was awesome. It had plenty of variety from cereal and toast to pancakes and omelets. The happy hour in the evenings started a relaxing evening after a day filled with activities. The hotel staff were very accommodating for our every need.

Telephones did not work. Remote controls were not programmed for tv's. Mattress on pull out sofa had stains. Would not recommend staying here. Someone from hotel staff knocked on our door at 12:30am to notify us that someone had. complained about noise from our room. We had no clue what they were referring to. Staff never introduced self and never applogized for interuption.

The breakfast buffet offers a wide variety of selections for any taste or diet. The resturant has a menu with something for everyone. I accidently cancelled reservations at the Embassy at Durham airport but still needed an Embassy close to Duke and UNC...called and they had rooms. All staff was pleasant. My room was a smokers and I have allergies....they changed it immediately without any issues. The view is gorgeous and the area is close to restaurants. 20 minute drive to either Duke or UNC. Overall, I love Embassy Suites.

Attended a conference as a spouse at the ES Cary. Rooms were clean and well kept. Suite had parlor with sofa bed (did not use). Lots of room to work. Parlor and bedroom had lots of lights, but bulbs were too low. Need higher wattage bulbs. Bathroom had lots of towles. Front desk staff was very helpful and professional. Microwave in room - did not use. Cofee maker in room Give the hotel a excellent rating and would stay there again (the true test).

This is an excellent hotel in a wonderful location. I was here for three nights for business. The complimentary breakfast with made to order omelets and a full buffet of options was a great start for each day. The evening reception with free beverages and snacks was a wonderful treat. Close to many restaurants and in a peaceful setting for any outdoor jogging. I will certainly stay again if my travels take me there.

We were on our way home from a week at the Outer Banks and needed a place to lay over, and it's always Embassy Suites if we can. This one had an excellent staff, the room was very clean, the hotel did need to have it's reception area carpet replaced, as it looked as if it had been water stained and that took away from the overall appeal. The pool was very clean and nice, and we would stay there again. The price was excellent.

Everyone on-staff was courteous and helpful. They made the stay pleasant. The hotel has been remodeled recently, so the guest rooms are very nice. The complimentary buffet in the evening was a bit light on food (cut vegetables and a quinoa thing that looked awful), but it's hard to complain when you're getting free booze and everyone is so nice about it.

My room was not clean on this trip. I always stay at Embassy Suite and I have never had a problem in the past with anything at the hotel but on this trip my room felt dirty to me, my light switches were dirty, the lamps were dusty and my bed linen had little black hairs on them and they felt unclean. This hotel has gone downhill fast. We have stayed at the hotel several times in the past and was completely satisfied. During this stay we experienced the following: The pool was so dirty we immediately pulled our grandchildren out in it. The pool was so dirty it looked like 1% milk. The children started pulling trash from the bottom of the pool and complained that it "stinks" I told the front desk about it and was told they would take care of it immediately. This Embassy Suites is fine for a quick stay, and the staff were nice (I arrived late at night, a little cranky and they were still pleasant). But the property itself needs a face-lift. It's old and worn around the edges and could use some basic renovations. The room also had a faint smell of cigarette smoke in it - not ideal for a non-smoker.

I have been to the hotel a few times and it is certainly popular place. Staff is outstanding but the place needs some work. Pros: great location, near airport, two large room suite hotel with free hot breakfast. Overall clean room. Two tvs, work space, mw, refrigerator etc. Cons. Outdated decor, carpet worn out, pillows shows aging, mattress was Ok and not like other Hilton hotels. We recently visited this hotel for a family vacation. The staff were amazing and so helpful. The hotel is very clean. My kids enjoyed the open atrium and watching the fish in the pond. Breakfast was great every day, omlet station, yogurt, granola, cereals, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage and pancakes. The evening cocktail hours were great, cheese & crackers, veggies & dip, chips & salsa and open bar. It was great for all of us.

This is typically one of the highest priced hotel in the Cary/RDU area (often second to the Umstead). With a number of new hotels close by, and a few more on the way, I see no reason to stay here. It was in need of a major renovation five years ago. Everything seems worn and dated, particularly the common areas. It can also be loud in the summer months, when it is filled with one of many sports related youth groups that comes through the area. In nearly all the rooms I've stayed in over the last... Read more

Staff was nice and helpful . But hotel should have been remodeled 12 years ago. I have never stayed at an embassy suites this outdated. Breakfast was good and again the staff was very friendly and helpful. Additionally can't beat the location. Unfortunately the hotel is just old and not updated and certainly not what I expected from an embassy suite. Online checkin was a waste of time as once we got there I had to do the whole thing all over again.

Excellent service. Staff was always friendly and accommodating. Reception drinks were great. No short cuts there. Breakfast had fresh omelettes and Krispy Kreme donuts (my favorite). This is my second stay. The first occurred years ago when hotel first opened. Hotel can use a little updating. My Room did have an unusual smell but was clean. Used the sauna which was great. Pool and hot tub were clean.
