This is our second time at this hotel and they were working on the pool area the first time. All the work is completed and they have a nice pool and hot tub. The desk staff were so helpful, from getting our rooms ready early to helping with suggestions for restaurants and sights to see. The location is close to the nearby towns for sightseeing and getting on the Blue Ridge Parkway. The breakfast is very nice and has hot offerings and a variety of cold food. There is a nice restaurant nextdoor ... Read more

My husband and I have stayed here multiple times over the past year. The front desk experience is always positive. They go out of their way to give us the best experience every time. Jake is a front desk master. We come back for his great energy and efficiency. The managers are always kind and make sure to say hello every passing. Jennifer is a sweet heart and very accommodating. It's because of these particular staff members that Baymont will always be our first choice.

When we first got to the hotel the staff was very nice, and helped with any questions we had. When we got to our room though, things changed. The door to the room was open when we walked up, and when we went inside, there were still cleaning supplies in the bathroom. This made us question if the cleaning staff actually finished cleaning or not. There then was an envelope on the table saying if we wanted to give a tip we could, this definitely doesn't give a good impression if they can't even fin... Read more

We had never stayed here before and needed a place to stay for soccer tournament. Made the reservation through Priceline at a very good rate. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean but needed some updates. One problem with our room was that it did not have any place to sit except for the desk chair. Which meant that my wife or I could only sit/lay on bed when the other was in the chair. They have free breakfast in morning with cereal, breads, limited fruit, yogurt and ... Read more

My first impression of the hotel was set when I walked into the lobby and smelled a strong chemical smell in the lobby. Luckily the front desk staff was so friendly and the room was so clean and spacious. The room was large and provided plenty of space for our four person family. The beds were very soft and comfortable. The room did not have many outlets so we had to take turns charging our phones. Other than that, this hotel was fine for a few nights as a family...not luxury but satisfactory.

I usually stay once or twice a year here. Every time I have came service has been excellent, except this past weekend. The rooms were not cleaned until shortly after check in time. We came in at 1pm to let them know we were ready whenever the room could be available. I understand check in time is at 3 but I shouldn't have to wait anytime after 3 to get in a room especially after I have came in a couple hours before time. And when we got in the room there was still stuff on the floor. It ha... Read more

We stayed for two nights to visit Tweetsie. The location of Baymont was great! Easy to get to local attractions and back on the highway home. The rooms ac was definitely not the coolest, but not uncomfortable. The room was clean and fresh and even with the couple small things I would change it still earns a perfect score from me and my family! Tiffany went above and beyond by tucking my son's toys back into bed when she remade it and she's just such a sweet person! Brenda was super helpful and n... Read more

Stayed at this hotel on a last minute. Hotel was clean and provided what we needed. Having a hot tub was a big plus. That made it worth staying there. The manager Devon could not have been any nicer or accommodating. Recommend this hotel.

This is a good hotel and I will return. The big reason is the hot tub and pool. My achey bones really like the hot tub. The room is nice but it was built at a time that there were few wall plugs so bring an extension cord if you want to charge your phone close to the bed. There is a desk next to the window is nice and has a plug. There is a new TV. The breakfast is about average for a free breakfast. It is a good place to stay.

The hotel was quaint and cute. The rooms were tidy but the carpets were really dirty and the tubs we old and stained. Every time we entered the hotel from side doors(closest to elevator) the trash was overflowing and stinky. This is a pet friendly hotel, which was nice to see . The cleaning ladies were super sweet. The front desk clerk could be nicer they were not very helpful and actually seemed like we were bothering them.

The building has excellent bones. The lobby has a large fireplace and carved wood with little bear and raccoon faces peering out. Check in was easy and friendly. The d├ęcor of the room was attractive. However-- I believe they need more attention to housekeeping and maintenance . The hallways are dark and the carpet looks dingy. The elevator could use some polish. I found a half pecan on the floor of my room. Did they vacuum since the last guest was there? The arms on the upholstered des... Read more

We arrived at the hotel just as power had been restored after a storm. The front desk was swamped with people who had been waiting to check in, but Devon, the front desk supervisor, never got frazzled. She handled everyone's requests competently and cheerfully, and her upbeat attitude had a soothing effect on all of us. Even though the hotel was near capacity, Devon managed to find our party rooms on the same floor, and made a note that one of our party needed an early breakfast (he was running ... Read more

For the location and price, hotel was good. Not right in town, but close enough you could walk...albeit a long walk. Staff was friendly, accommodating all our needs. Rooms were comfortable and clean, very spacious. The interior design is reminiscent of lodges found in the north which is a welcomed change. Had delicious cookies when we checked in, don't forget to get one!!

Two night stay. Room not cleaned until after 4 in the afternoon. No dresser top or flat surface other than computer desk. No chairs other than desk chair. Hallways dim and dirty. Elevator floor tile chipped and dirty. Upon check in at 5:30 pm sent to room only to find it not cleaned. Hauled luggage back down to lobby, Assigned a different room At breakfast bread was stale. We will not stay here again.

Stay away from this property! That's all I'll say. It's a cheap motel and I'm never going back there. The room we got was a queen double and the beds had dirty sheets, the ax did not work, and the bathroom was old and stained, with a bathtub that leaked all over the bathroom floor.

Where to begin... Arrived to find that my room was not ready at the time I was told it would be. After the second day I knew why. Not enough workers cleaning room. They were still cleaning rooms ay 7:30 PM and later. I would have to say staying here was a disappointment. The staff was very nice, but the facility needs to be updated. Upon checking in we found trash in our room from the previous guest. There was a strong odor that they tried to cover up with a floral fragrance which made it bad on my allergies. The bathroom door was chewed up from where a pet had been locked inside. I did not realize this facility was pet friendly, which could account for the odor in the hall and the room. I will not be ... Read more

Deserves way more credit than a '2-star hotel'. It's very nicely decorated and the rooms are well-kept. It's in a very convenient location (5 minutes from downtown) and close to coffee/breakfast locations in the morning. The indoor pool and hot tub is also well-kept and very clean. Staff were very friendly and the checking-in/checking-out process was very easy. Bed was comfortable and everything in the room worked great. So in Boone, there are few options. I've stayed at several places here, and each of them has been sold and there are few major chains in the area. Baymont would not be a first, second or even third choice for me in most circumstances. However, with so few options, Having said that, this was actually better than I expected. The wifi was good, although it faded in and out at night especially. The A/C was excellent. The parking was plentiful and easy. The property was quiet when I was there... Read more

Stay at Baymont was based on Wyndham rental website. Motel was not too busy, but most of guests were college students waiting to get into dorms. Not noisy, & polite, but too many of them. Luggage carts were not available on checkout. Students apparently were keeping carts in rooms. Motel was not too clean. Floor was gritty. "Euro" pillows appeared to be regular pillows tied in a big knot. Cookies were a hit!. Staff very courteous & helpful.

We stayed here 2 weeks ago, for a soccer tournament. I wanted to wash my daughter's uniforms so that they would be clean for her game on Sunday, but the hotel does not have a laundry area for guests. The manager and the person working the front desk took her uniforms and washed them for me and put a note on my door, while I was at dinner, to let me know that they were done and ready to pick up at the front desk. Super friendly and helpful!

Everthing was great except the hot tub. I told the front desk that their pool man needs to get it up to 102 degrees to call it a hot tub. Now if they do not want to get it up to 102 degrees then they should take it out of their advertising theat they have a hot tub.
