Enjoyed a long weekend in the gigantic, beautiful, interesting suite with my grown daughter. It was equipped with a cd player with lovely music. Also at the 2 coffee stations in the suite, there was a nice selection of TEA. I really appreciated that. The staff was outstanding as well. The restaurant and bar were awesome. The fireplace, decor, and gallery in the lobby were outstanding. And we especially enjoyed the interaction with the bell men and valets. Very friendly and accommodating. T... Read more

We just stopped in on a whim with no reservations. The enclosed parking area and Valet's were very nice to let us park for free and look around the place. Once inside the lobby, it is very small area with a large center piece fireplace. The bar was to the left and the check in was on the right with two desks (not a counter). It was a pleasant conversation and comfortable setting surrounded by paintings by local artist. Room rates were high (around $300 per night) but they offered a vetera... Read more

This is a Kessler hotel so the layout and amenities were similar to another Kessler at which I stayed in Savannah. My husband and I stayed in the Manor House across the street from the main hotel which was fine, but in retrospect I would have rather been at the main hotel. Crossing the busy (who knew?) street in the middle of the village, was somewhat inconvenient, but not really a problem. The lobby in the main hotel is very warm and charming and one misses that in the Manor House. However, t... Read more

The building is a strange eclectic mixture of ancient Greek of Roman busts and European hunting lodges. The place is full of light fixtures that were once deer antlers. The service it top notch. Everyone bent over backwards to assure that every guest had everything they needed or wanted. The room was spacious and well equipped. The bath tub was huge and had jets in the bottom that were very relaxing. Parking is primarily valet parking. There is self parking, but itâ??s a bit of a walk bac... Read more

Stayed here this past weekend. Great for couples or families with kids not needing "kid" entertainment. The location is perfect in Biltmore Village - keeps you out of the chaos of the downtown area. The hotel staff was very helpful, polite, not stuffy at all. The fitness room was fine, the spa area is small. The rooms were very nice. Neat decorations/theme. Would totally stay here again with my husband. If you are wanting a "kid" hotel, this isn't really it. No pool, etc.

The hotel was beautiful and the location was great but there were just a few things I think the hotel could do to make the stay just that much better..... We stayed in the manor house which was across the street from the main building. When we checked in the hotel staff did direct us across the street but didn't give any direction where our room was actually located at. (specifically what floor) Once we made it across the street (a very busy road but there is a crosswalk and light) we realized w... Read more

I stayed at the Grand Bohemian on a business trip. The overall tone of the hotel is "dark" but the rooms were comfortable and had a nice big tub. I went to the restaurant(Red Stag) for breakfast on a Friday about 8:45. The hostess had the junior hostess lead to me to a table in the 3/4 empty space to a table up against a wall. There were window tables available and I expressed my preference - I was told to stand in the middle of the empty restaurant while the junior hostess walked to check wi... Read more

Stayed here for 4 nights during the week, only $30 dollars more per night than the chain hotel we stayed at on the weekend. A little noisy because it is surrounded by busy streets but, slept well. No pool, no free breakfast buffet, which meant no kids running up and down the halls, yippee!! Unique lobby and front desk, great valet parking service. Beautiful artwork everywhere, Red Stag Grill great for dinner, cocktails. Located across the street from the entrance to Biltmore. Treat yourself!

The Grand Bohemian is a nice hotel. Our room was nice, comfortable and had good (free) wifi. Service was very good. The biggest drawback is the location, which is roughly two miles from the heart of downtown Asheville. There are no good options for walking to downtown, and the area around the hotel is pretty touristy and generic. Having said all of that, driving into Asheville was not difficult, as we were always able to find parking.
