Overall a really cool style to the hotel. The décor feels like a mountain lodge and the fireplace with the piano player nearby is a nice touch. As a Marriott Platinum member there is not much to be desired compared to your traditional Marriott properties, and I had to specifically ask for my elite benefits. We stayed in the Manor House across the street, which I would not suggest in the winter time, as you need to go outside and cross the street with a very poorly timed crosswalk for getting... From the valet greeting...to our checkout...the service was point on. The hotel is perfectly located outside of the biltmore estate gate...the village offers decent shopping and dining. We were with 5 other couple celebrating a milestone birthday..it snowed about 4-6 inches on Friday night...the staff did a great job cleaning it up...but much of the shopping and dining was closed on Saturday. Use Uber to get around...valet/parking is $20 per day.. the onsite restaurant and bar is top notch..... Read more

My DIL and I recently spent two days at this hotel and it is fabulous! We were met at the valet with friendly smiles and asked if we needed help wth our luggage. As we were a tad early and our room wasn't ready - they offered us hot chocolate and took my cell number so they could call me when it was ready. We waited less than 10 min and were in our room. We stayed in a lovely one bedroom suite and it was impeccably decorated and the jacuzzi tub in the bathroom was huge. My only "complaint" ... Read more

Stayed here for the first time in January 2017. Service was excellent - from check in, to valet, to bellman, to room service. Location is great for visiting Biltmore and shopping/dining in Biltmore village. Not quite as convenient if the majority of your time will be spent in the heart of downtown, but a short drive (or $6 Uber) away from downtown. Beds were plush and comfy. I was visiting with a couple of friends, so I did not love the glass door to the water closet - limited privacy when ... Read more

We stayed here twice: 6 years ago before we had kids and a week before Christmas 2016 with both of our little girls in toe. Whether a romantic getaway or a family week-end trip, we felt well taken care of and spoiled. The kids loved the tasty hot chocolate set up in the lobby as well as the cool fireplace and unique furniture. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone.

We booked this hotel based on our experience at the Grand Bohemian in Charleston and were glad we did. The hotel had a cozy, hunting lodge feel and the staff were very polite. The front desk area was different from the standard hotel. Rather than a high counter with several employees standing behind it, there were three desk. Not necessarily the most recognizable check-in desk, but fun and casual. The room was a standard king-size room and the only complaint I had was the window size and loca... Read more

This is a hotel with style, class, and location, in the heart of the Biltmore Village. Lots of shops, restaurants, and things to do within walking distance, a 10 minute ride to downtown, and across from the entrance to the Biltmore Estates. This is a hotel I really enjoyed and will revisit again in the future.

20th anniversary with the bride in Asheville, NC. 2nd time at the hotel, which was fabulous. The rooms are very spacious with a mountain theme. Great restaurant in the hotel for breakfast & dinner with lively bar scene with live music.

I am originally from Florida and I had always wanted to go to Asheville. I love mountains and Christmas time and so I chose the Grand Bohemian based on pictures and reviews. The location is perfect! So close to everything especially the Biltmore Estates. We never wanted to leave once we got there. The tub was amazing, the grilled cheese we ordered from room service was amazing. The red stag was awesome. The employees were friendly and helpful and you got cookies and apple cider or hot chocolate ... Read more

This is my 2nd time at the property. The staff as always was very courteous and nice. When we checked in we were offered a flute of champagne. Being a Platinum Elite, I was giving a room upgrade from a double queen room to one of the 4 Kessler suites at the property. The room had a eating area, living area, and large bedroom. About the size of most 1 bedroom apartments. If this is your first time visiting, the property is themed after a hunting lodge. The rooms have touches of this. The ... Read more
