I have stayed at this location many times for business and also for personal trips and I am always pleased. The staff is VERY professional and FRIENDLY. This is a centrally located location... Close to shopping, restaurants, downtown, and the Biltmore estates. It is hard for me to grant any location excellent across the board. But this location does come close and I highly recommend it.

This hotel is a great choice if you are visiting Asheville and surrounding attractions. It is easy to find and, although on a busy street, surprising quiet. The Hotel has updated their public areas which are quite nice and rooms, although scheduled for renovation, were in great shape and very clean. The staff is the most amazing asset of this Hotel- everyone we encountered was friendly and very helpful with a special shout-out to Arenda at the Front Desk and Tracy in Housekeeping. Great brea... The staff was welcoming and friendly and those working the complimentary meals especially helpful. Compared to other Asheville hotels, I choose Homewood Suites because it offered more value for the money. The hotel is conveniently located to places of interest in and around Asheville. We did not need it for this visit but the shuttle service is a definite plus.

The Homewood Suites worked well for our family which consisted of 2 adults and a 10 month old baby. The convenience of having a kitchen and separate room for the baby was one reason why we chose this hotel as well as the location and proximity to downtown (2 miles or less than 10 minute drive). The staff was accommodating and friendly. The morning breakfast buffet had a good mix of options for our family. We would stay here again.

Stopped overnight on the way home from Disney. Beautiful hotel. Service was nice. We had a 2 queen suite. Lovely and roomy. Cleanest room of the entire vacation. View of the mountains was nice. The breakfast was yummy. Upscale in my book. Would return in a heartbeat.

Room smelled like smoke and the bed was broken. There was no TV guide in the room. It was late, we were tired so we didn't Calle the front desk. The breakfast was great. When we checked out they didn't offer any discount for the bad experience.

Nice hotel, location is perfect, not far from Biltmore. Friendly front desk/maid service staff, clean rooms, nice breakfast. The bathrooms were clean and updated as was the room and lobby. Evening reception was great and free. Rooms were huge, enough for 4 adults and two children.

It helped us save money. A family of 5 can get expensive eating out a lot. The staff was very friendly and just amazing. You can go wrong staying here!

I have never written a review for trip advisor, but felt compelled to after my lovely stay at this hotel. I stayed here for ten days. It was my first time in Asheville. From literally the second I arrived where I was greeted by Madison and Lily (who promptly offered me shuttle service to a downtown restaurant so I wouldn't have to try and park), I had an amazing experience with this staff. The rooms were acceptable and clean; a little smaller than I had expected, but definitely sufficient. ... Read more

I came here to visit my wife who was in town for a conference, and had our 15mo son and a family friend in with me. It was my first time in Asheville in 31 years and everyone else's first, period, so needless to say the city and region were practically foreign to us all. So we needed a lot of help, and everyone working during our stay (June 11-15) were massively helpful! Location makes it easy to get around and see the sites. The hot breakfast and social hour foods were very good and a great way to keep costs down when traveling. Very clean and quiet hotel. Entire staff was helpful - from the manager on down. A major plus for us was the free shuttle service within a 5 mile distance from the hotel. We would take it into town to explore, and walk back for the exercise. We used it to and from dinner several nights and everyone was polite and helpful. The breakfast was a full, hot breakfast every morning - until 10 am, and could be eaten on site, or taken to go. Convenient location & comfortable rooms with good space. Liked that the sink area is separate from the shower/toilet. Had fridge, cook top & sink, as well as seating & desk area. Complimentary breakfast had just what good choices & very pleasant staff. The room itself was fine. Breakfast didn't have a ton of hot options, but it was fine and could take food to go. My biggest issue was the cleanliness of the rooms. Our first room was a non smoking room that smelled like and ashtray. The second room we got was filled with too many previous guests hair.

Would recommend higher floor, seemed to be quieter. As far as views, I don't really think it mattered. Both sides of the hotel look out at mountains. Rooms on the front side overlook shoppi...
