Booked a great package in this hotel which included 2-day entry to the Biltmore Estate, and complimentary breakfast. Provided with hot cookies and water when we arrived. Our room had a patio overlooking a courtyard. The breakfast was the best we have ever had in a hotel in the States. The desk staff were very helpful, even printed out maps for us to get on the Blue Ridge Parkway. No need to drive to any restaurants as the hotel is in the very picturesque Biltmore Village, perfect.

For the money, our room was not very nice. There were dogs on our floor that barked. Animals should be only on one floor, not on floor with clients with no dogs. Bathroom had some mildew, needs updating!

My husband and I decided to spend a short weekend in Asheville. I selected the DoubleTree based on location, brand, and shuttle service offered. We had such a great stay! Everyone was overly friendly and welcoming. Diane at the Front Desk was fantastic, she was extremely helpful and started our stay off on a high note! Thank you. The shuttle service to and from downtown was awesome, Bill was so informative and was our mini tour guide! The sticky buns at breakfast were amazing. Breakfast ... Read more

We spent 3 nights here; the location is excellent, you are within walking distance to Biltmore Village and many restaurants. The room was comfortable, the bed was little too soft for our tastes but we didn't have any issues getting to sleep, since we were exhausted from our exploring the Blue Ridge Parkway. The staff was very friendly, but I want to thank Tiffany for her daily assistance, she is a major asset to the Hotel. Note: the warm cookies are a wonderful bonus with Doubletrees.

We initially booked a room with double beds and balcony with a garden view in the Cecil Wing. Checking in to our room, 508, we were disappointed to find no balcony. The room was small, no refrigerator or microwave, but it was clean. We spoke with the manager about our lack of balcony and asked for a different room. Long story short, they were already booked. At that point the manager reassigned us to a room (340) in the Vanderbilt Tower, a King Executive Suite with Balcony. LOVED it! The "view" ... Read more

Hotel staff was very welcoming, friendly and always helpful. They offer a great breakfast which was nice. Hotel is not in the downtown Asheville area. On a busy street within walking distance of Biltmore Village which Is a quite little shopping area with a few restuarants. there is a shuttle that will take you to downtown. Need to check the schedule for days & time. Doesn't run all the time. If you don't mind not being in downtown then its a good place to stay and the rates were reasonsble.

Friendly, helpful staff. The room was clean and the shower had great water pressure. Good location, minutes from most things in Asheville. You can take a leisurely walk to the Biltmore Village and the Biltmore is right around the corner. I would stay there again. It's the best Doubletree we've stayed at in quite some time. The cookies aren't bad either!!

Our room was clean and housekeeping did a great job during our stay. The beds are double and for us, very uncomfortable. They seem worn out as did the pillows so we didn't sleep well. The hotel itself is conveniently located near the downtown area, VERY close to the Biltmore Estate main gate, and Biltmore Village. We spent three nights here over the July 4th weekend. The staff was very helpful in many ways. The Hilton family brand of hotels have always offered consistently good service, but the experience at this DoubleTree was on a higher level. Rooms were very clean, Ac worked well, bathrooms were clean, staff helpful and friendly. don't like the TGIF bar as the bar for the hotel. The restaurant has a terrible odor and doesn't seem clean. Hotel is clean though.

Save a few bucks and stay somewhere else. Upgraded to patio room and had a great view of the back parking lot and some trees. Toilet was filthy and outlet next to bathroom sink didn't work. Didn't report until checkout because we discovered these shortcomings when the facilities were needed and we couldn't wait for some maintenance guy to show up.

Location is close to Biltmore Village and entry to the Biltmore Gardens Estate. The hotel serves a very nice breakfast which was included in our package as well as free wifi. The staff was attentive and rooms were clean. I have had more comfortable mattresses which was why I did not rate facility a 4. I also do not like the spiraled fluorescent bulbs, but too many hotels use these. The light is just inadequate.

The rooms are spotless. The balcony has nice chairs to sit in. The seat in the shower is awesome. Nice towels and a very comfortable bed. It is convenient to the Biltmore. Good location. Parking is plentiful. Staff was so sweet and went out of their way to accommodate us. The check-in staff were efficient and very pleasant. Highly recommend them. They are pet friendly

Since making our reservation in February 2016, our room need had changed from a standard room to either a walk in shower or handicap room. Rhyne and Sandra worked very hard and were able to change our room type. Not only these two but the entire staff were very accommodating and professional.

Great clean and updated property right at the Biltmore area, staff was very pleasant and always attentive. The only detractor was the garbage truck coming at 6:00 A.M. Onsite TGI Friday was very convenient and good food for when one likes to chill. I would recommend this property for families as well as couples or business guests.

The lady that checked us in at the front desk was really good as in she saw that we had a dog (extra $55 but that is per stay not night) and was able to get us a room near the dog walk area. That is good because I had called in before the man that answered the phone seemed slightly irritated that he had to answer my questions. The room that I got us was a double but had no frig or microwave. It did have a coffee maker and hairdryer. So we bought our cooler. To have a microwave or frig is is $25 ... Read more

I stayed at this property September 5-7 as an employee of the company. I've stayed at several Doubletree locations in the past, and this hotel is typical. I was moved from the old wing(even though I e-checked in) to the new wing as an 'upgrade', and in the move I lost the couch. It's just nice to have a couch to sit on in the room. The view was of the air conditioning and of the roof, I was in room 242. On my second morning there, the housekeepers tried to enter my room around 8AM, while I was a... Read more

This was my first experience with traveling with my small dog. My Bella was well behaved and was treated very kindly by everyone. The hotel is beautiful and I enjoyed visiting at the Biltmore Estate so close to your hotel.

We were in Ashville for a wedding up in the mountian. We enjoyed our stay at the Double Tree. After the wedding festivities we stayed an extra day and walked down into Biltmore Village. The location was very nice as we were able to walk not drive to enjoy the area.

We stayed at the Doubletree for our one-year wedding anniversary in Asheville. The hotel is located in Biltmore Village, really close to the entrance to the Biltmore. The cookies were warm and delicious as always, and the bed was so comfy and luxurious (not sure if it's down, but it has that feel in the comforter and pillows, and maybe a pillow-top mattress). The staff brought chocolate-covered strawberries to our room for our one-year anniversary. The breakfast buffet is filled with good stu... Read more

Quiet and clean room, very small bathroom, mostly double beds it seems, no upgrade for diamond member. No executive lounge. Pool opens at 6am. Excellent breakfast at the tea room. Get ready to hike from parking lot. Manager on duty did a nice service recovery for shuttle snafu.

We had an issue with the size of the doorway to the bathroom (we did not initially think we needed a handicap room), however upon our request, hotel staff relocated us to a room which was handicap-accessible. We also had the need for an ambulance due to my mother's condition, and staff was very attentive to our every need during that time.

This was a wonderful hotel, convenient to the village and the Biltmore Estate. We had a premium king balcony room, which overlooked the Biltmore Forest. The room was fairly new and spacious. The bathroom was quite large and modern. They gave us free homebaked cookies at the front desk every day. We had the breakfast buffet one morning, which featured made to order eggs and omelets as well as a variety of meats, pastries, fruits and cereals. It also included coffee, tea, and juices. It was... This is a nice hotel, very clean. We got a room in the Vanderbilt tower with a balcony. It had a "forest" view which means you are staring at trees. You can walk to the Biltmore Village shopping area. Downtown is about a 10 minute uber ride. There is a Friday's restaurant in the hotel. It is very close to the entrance of the Biltmore Estate.

This is a comfortable and pleasant hotel that keeps you stocked with warm cookies. It has beautiful spaces inside & out to relax and read/watch tv... We requested a refrigerator which they supplied at no charge. I liked the hotel a lot and have no complaints.

We were upgraded to the Tower area and had a really nice room; the best part was a great large shower with a rain shower head - didn't want to get out!!! The rest of the hotel was nice and right next door to the Biltmore entrance and Ruth's Chris Steak House (reviewed under the restaurants). Would have given this place 5 stars, but had a problem with the room door, which necessitated 3 separate trips to the front desk - still wasn't fixed when we left. Otherwise, a very nice place.

Great experience staying at the DoubleTree - Biltmore Village. We were there the week from Sept 10th to the 17th. The hotel is so convenient to Biltmore Village - walking distance, plus so close to downtown & so easy to get to the Biltmore House. So easy to get on any of the interstates for our week adventure of hiking. Our suite was super, with a great little balcony overlooking the water feature in the garden. Very relaxing after a great day of hiking! Would definitely stay here again. Plus, ... Read more

Great place, great location. Very accomodating. The hotel is casually comfortable but also very upscale. Several food choices close by. Right at the gate to Biltmore. I had a slight reservation error and the staff was the most accomodating I have ever experienced. We will always stay there
