We chose to stay here because my spouse had to go to the VA hospital two days in a row. Rather than driving an hour back and forth two days in a row after a procedure in the winter, we found this hotel close by. This was very close to the hospital which was great. The room was very quiet and comfortable which made it great to rest. The staff was also very friendly. The food at the restaurant was very good and large portions. I only had two issues. 1) parking in the garage is $15.00 per night... Read more

My wife and I stayed at the Sheraton the weekend of the 21st of January. I was out on business, and she came along. The hotel had very few guests at the time. Since it was a playoff weekend, we went into the bar to watch the games. The staff were just outstanding, particularly Kevin and Ron, who engaged us in conversation about the teams, and provided outstanding service. Later we were in the Club Lounge, where Tina was equally friendly and helpful. All in all it was an extremely memorable ... Read more

After checking out of a motel in an area we didn't care for, we made reservations for the University Hotel because we were there to visit the University. The hotel is very lovely. The rooms were comfortable and exceptionally clean and quiet. We had a wonderful view from our room on the 8th floor. The hotel is in a great location for anyone visiting the University. The breakfast was good, but the food could have been hotter on the buffet. I was a bit surprised at the room rates though. Kind ... Read more

We chose to stay at the Syracuse University Sheraton while visiting the Great New York State Fair during Labor Day weekend 2016 because I had previously stayed in this hotel in 2013. It is still a wonderful hotel. We stayed in what is now called the deluxe studio with one queen bed and a sofa bed. This is a very spacious room for our family of four. There was a living room area with a sofa, easy chair, coffee table and TV. There was also a wet bar with a microwave and mini fridge which formed a ... Read more

There is no reason to have high expectations for a hotel like this on the edge of a university campus. It clearly has a captive market. But you would expect things like the room windows to at least seal, so you don't literally have to listen to the wind whistling through them all night. A run-of-the-mill place, with low aspirations. It is at least convenient to the university.

I attended Syracuse University and recently decided to visit and attend a game. The Sheraton is the only hotel on Campus and an easy walk to the game and all things SU so it was the only hotel I considered. The hotel is really very nice. The staff is very attentive and professional; the room I stayed in was large and well decorated. The hotel has a bar which is large and very welcoming and the restaurant was open late and the food was good. Finally I have a dog. The hotel was pet friendly as... Read more

I really wish we would make it here more often. The service from the front desk, lounge, dining areas and house keeping......all just cater to the guest on such a high level. Beyond our expectations every year. We attended the NYE celebration this year again it is honestly just getting better each year. The stay, appetizers, dinner, open bar (7:30-1:30 am), midnight buffet, champagne, music, late checkout, breakfast buffet.......Well worth the trip. Some very special people that absolutely make ... Although a lot of heavy foot traffic, this hotel was impressive with it's cleanliness and warmth . Very clean considering the amount of people walking through it's corridors. Rooms are clean and a tad bigger than a normal hotel room in this stature. A plus is that the room we stayed in had a refrigerator for our perishables. A plus is the restaurant in the property which doubles as a bar/tailgate event before SU games. Carrier Dome is a 5-8 minute leisurely walk from the property.

A very nice place to be if you want to be on the Syracuse campus! Friendly staff, comfortable clean room, nice food. Free shuttle service. Very easy access to the university and the surroundings. I would visit again.
