I stayed one night with my family and have to complaints. Two double beds with microwave and refrigerator great if you have a lil 11 month year old. Breakfast was awesome. Waffles, eggs, cereal, bread, orange juice, coffee, you understand what I'm talking about. Just great. But I wouldn't stay for more then a day or two.

The front desk was helpful, two nice ladies. Upon arrival on our room we discovered two dirty towels hanging in our bathroom, called down and was told I could come get towels. There was dirt and hair on the tub where you step over to get in and also hair around the sink. Gross. Probably wouldn't stay there again. Disappointed.

We planned our weekend for graduation a year in advance. Unfortunately, due to a health reason, I had to make a change to our arrival date. Expedia said they were not able to make this change directly and (while I was holding) they called Kim the front desk manager who said she would take care of it. I immediately called Kim myself directly a few times prior to our arrival and she re-assured me each time that she had made a note and we would not have a problem with our reservation. The rooms were clean and adequate but not great. The hallways smelled like smoke and the heater gave off a bad smell when started up. The continental breakfast was nice and reasonable stocked, there were times when there wasn't enough seating. The parking lot was occupied by a group Friday and Saturday evening that seemed to be tailgating or having a bonfire and did not seem like the experience I am used to when staying at a chain hotel like Days Inn. After my room was cleaned I returned to f... Read more

We will not stay at this hotel again! There was paint splatters all over the room, the halls smelled of smoke and the towels were under the sink that was full of sawdust. When I went to get clean towels I had to wait 10 minutes for the hostess to come back in from outside.

The staff is very friendly and as helpful as they can be. Unfortunately, that is where the pros for this hotel end. The outside of the building parking lot is in serious need of repair. The building rooms are quite outdated - carpet is fraying, furniture is aging, etc. The hotel hallways REAK of cigarette smoke that permeates into every room - it is thick enough to make you cough. There were also not enough towels for the guests. The worst part was my final morning when the ceiling began to lea... Read more

Room was clean with plenty of space for 2 couples, and had a comfy chair with otoman! I was very impressed and I will DEFINITELY stay again if I'm in the area!

The room smelled moldy and musty. There was no garbage can in the room. The toilet paper had feces on it. The comforter was dirty. There were no light bulbs in the lamp by the bed. Nothing was plugged in, except for the tv, including the alarm clock. There were no cups. You couldn't open or close the bathroom door if the toilet seat was down, because there wasn't sufficient room and the door banged against the seat. Even with the seat up, you had to lift up on the door and slam it to close it. ... Read more

Stayed 3 nights. Arrived late and was a friendly reception. The room had a musty, smoke smell when you first walk in but otherwise was fine. There weren't enough plugs & they didn't have a power strip so we had to unplug tv to plug in fridge. We also had to move coffee maker in order to plug in. We ended up moving the fridge so we could watch tv at night and not ruin the food. Not a huge hassle but still not something you expect to do during a hotel stay. Bathroom is tiny but functional. The staff was friendly. The breakfast was enough to get you going in the morning. Our room was a different story. It has a very musty, old, moldy smell that permeated all of our clothes. The curtains have a water stain line from the bottom up to about a foot so I'm wondering about water/mold. For the price of the room it's tolerable.

We visit Syracuse about 4-5 times a year and this time we decided to try the Days Inn. We booked a two double beds suite. I guess we don't have the same definition of a suite. It looked like a bit bigger than a normal room with a useless corner with à table and a chair. The staff was very nice. The linen very clean and the beds comfortable. the breakfast was also good but you had to wait for a long time before they replenish the hot dishes... We stayed here on our way to Vermont. Days Inn is usually a decent place to stay. This place was very rundown. The peephole in the door was broke out and they had a piece of paper shoved in the hole, the lock latch was broken off, the wallpaper in the bathroom was peeling off. The Guest laundry was a joke!! We reserved two rooms at this hotel. Luckily, the rooms were next to each other. When we arrived there was a bed in the hallway (it was later removed) and one of the two room doors was wide open. I was very disappointed this year in our accommodation. We had a room with two beds which was more expensive than a room with only a King bed. Everything about this place was disgusting. The bedding was gross. The blanket was scary and I didn't want it to touch my face because you KNEW they didn't launder it between customers. There was black hair on my "clean"sheets and the pillows were rock hard. The room was like a cheap 1960s motel room. The breakfast was awful. Out of food. No decaf because it was a "waste of money," for them to serve. Do not go here. It is nasty. You'll come home with bed bugs if you are lucky.

It was not as bad as a non-renovated older property, but... Bed was GREAT. Shower curtain was dirty. Coffeemaker had no place to plug in; nearest outlet had no cover and both gangs in use. Nice fridge, microwave. Upgraded TV at first pixelated a lot until I reseated the cable box connections. Breakfast was OK. This was normally a $144 room for two; that would be overpriced. With a discount, it was $115+tax; still a bit high. Would come back.
