Paid more for this tiny room than other places I stayed and had less amenities too. Not to mention the restaurant was under renovations which we weren't told until we went to try and get something. The bar was poorly stocked. The Receptionist Katie was nice, but all in all after my mile walk to our room past the kitchen and the laundry room I was less than thrilled.

The outside hotel looks good but inside the hotel looks old especially rooms are small. I got upgraded to a suit room, but the suite room looks very small too. My 9-year-old daughter even found a moth on the window ledge when she was jumping on the couch nearby the window.

Stayed for 2 nights in March 2016. Needed somewhere between Woodstock VT and Albany NY so we chose Saratoga Springs. As a Diamond Hilton Honors member was upgraded to a "suite" of some description. It was the weirdest room I have ever stayed in. Huge room, full of nothing with all the furniture up against the walls. It looked like the original wall in the middle of the room was removed and now what was two rooms became one big room of nothing. The bed was "stranded" over on one side of the room... Read more

We were reserved at this hotel for my cousins wedding ‚?? ceremony, cocktails and reception were all at the Hilton. Upon arrival at 2 p.m., the room was not ready. The person who greeted was polite and courteous. She told me the room would not be ready until 3 p.m. This was not a problem as the on-line check-in indicated that check-in was 3 p.m. We walked into town for lunch and some shopping, returning to the hotel at 3:30 p.m. The room was still not ready. I typically like this chain, so was shocked at the condition of this hotel. There was no one to greet you as you arrived at the hotel, no one to help with bags, etc, very poor communication on how to even find your way to the lobby from the parking lot. Hallways were filthy as you exited the elevator - looked like they hadn't been vacuumed in weeks. Rooms were not much better. Old air conditioning units, loud, either too hot or too cold. Not very much room in the rooms at all. View was awfu... Read more

Horrible smell multiple times reported, only sprayed the room at first and did not offer to move me until my last night. Wall paper was peeling and comforter was dirty. When I was finally moved, that room had a clogged sink but was cleaner than the first so I didn't complain.

I stay at this hotel once a year for an annual conference and love how easy it is to get to and the accessibility to the downtown. I have enough time during my stay to get ready for my conference and visit a new spot or two, but it's great that I can still experience the area during my very short stay.

Do not let them put you in room 159. Room was very tired, didn't have the room I wanted even though booked 6 months in advance. There was 4 of us and no one wanted to sleep in the same bed and we were given 1 king bed originally. Changed us too a king with a pull out. Air conditioner was this huge clunky thing in front of the window.. Looked like a unit sitting on top of a TV stand.... Weird... It was noisy and clunked all night. Worse sleep ever at a Hilton

Bed was good, location great but the hotel lives on the location. The A/C will keep you up, at least mine did and also blocks the view. The hotel needs a total make over, it's such a shame that Hilton does not take advantage of this wonderful location and provide a first class experience.

It's really awful when a top hotel chain charges an outrageous rate and the room is just awful. Chipped paint, sink drains needs to be replaced, bathroom fan covered over, air conditioner so loud we could not sleep. Finally, double beds, do hotels still have them? Not in the last years in any hotel I've been in. Repairs in the building with drilling being done until 5:00 pm. Not a "Hilton" experience".

Nice location close to shops, pubs, & restaurants. Rooms subpar for price. Loud window air conditioners (go to bathroom to talk over noise; can't hear tv when on). No USB ports in room, no refrigerator for extended stay use, small beds. Workout room is fine, pool small. Good guest service and house cleaning but tired carpets and hallways. Better value at hotels down the street where our friends stayed.

As a dedicated Hilton Honors patron, I have stayed at Hiltons all over the US and beyond. What I have learned is that all the Hilton properties are not created equal. The Hilton in Houston is not the same as the Hilton in Saratoga Springs. With that said, this was the worst Hilton I have stayed at period. It is a short walk to downtown Broadway where there are many unique shops, restaurants and bars. If you stay, it is well worth the walk. The rooms themself were mixed. The bed mattresses and pillows were not very comfortable. The shower and amenities were great. For some reason t... Read more

The Saratoga Hilton is a great location right on Broadway within walking distance to the shopping and dining area. Well appointed, clean with very attentive staff. Will definitely recommend staying here while in Saratoga

The hotel venue was excellent and the service was good. Only issue I had was checking in because I had a municipal purchase order and tax exempt. The staff was not well versed in how to handle them and there was going to be about 400 of my colleagues to check in.

This is my second stay here as a conference location. The staff are very nice and the location on Broadway in the downtown is excellent. It's time for a renovation though as there is now a lot of competition in the Saratoga hotel scene. Hotel is showing its age. Rooms are just blah and have an underlying musty smell. And the heating/ac units take up half the Windows. What's up with that? This property could be so much more if a little care was put into it. And more elevators, please! There are... Read more

I am actually surprised that I have not reviewed this hotel before. I have stayed at this hotel probably 20 times. This hotel has so much to offer! Let me break it up into categories: Food- I have been to more conferences at this hotel than I can count. The food is ALWAYS great. No matter if it is breakfast, lunch or dinner. The food is always fantastic. Especially considering how many people they try and serve. Service- The people that work at this hotel are truly unbelievable. You will thin... Read more

The Hilton is a nice property with well trained staff who are attentive to guest's needs. Being attached to the City Center - it is a nice venue to stay at while attending a conference here. Rooms are clean - staff is friendly and helpful; drinks are cold and food is good! One of my favorite places to stay in Saratoga - very consistent!

A quick getaway for fall weekend. The hotel was in a great location and walking distance to all shops, restaurants and bars. The staff was friendly in hotel, restaurant and bar. The only downside was the hallway noise was unbelievably loud at all hours especially the doors slamming and the crazy big ac unit going on and off all night. We hope to give it another try after the updates.

The property is ideally located close to local shopping and quaint village atmosphere and some great restaurants nearby. The hotel food is bad on so many levels. The hamburgers are your best bet. That pasta was oily, the sandwiches dry. The breakfast buffet during the week is over priced for a "continental". The hotel has gone through a number of chefs and still doesn't have one that is going to fill up the restaurant. The full bar adjacent is great but if there is a conference or party crowd fi... I last stayed at this hotel about a year ago. The hotel is about to undergo a major renovation and I can understand why. I have been staying at this hotel for over twenty years and haven't seen any resemblance of renovation work. Furniture is worn and frayed. Diamond members should take notice that if you are planning to book this hotel on a weekend, you probably won't get an upgrade. They have a lot of weddings at this hotel and it is fully booked. Normally, continental breakfast is what you... Read more

The hotel was clean and pleasant as are most Hilton Hotels. I had to move furniture in my room to access outlets. There were 2 in my room. So travelling with a laptop, phone, tablet and watch that needed to be charged was a challenge - 2 devices charging in bathroom while sitting on floor with my laptop to reach the only fairly accessible outlet in the room. Food was ok; bar was nice

I recently stayed at the Hilton during a conference. It is within walking distance to restaurants and shops. The rooms were clean and nicely appointed. The Wi-Fi worked well. Most impressive to me was the pool. It's clean, underused, and long enough to swim laps in. Also, the water wasn't overheated. There's also a fitness room with machines and weights. One thing I would say is this hotel is long so if you're traveling with someone who can't walk far, you might want to request a room close to t... Read more

Sign boards in the lobby seem to indicate that a major renovation will start soon, and the somewhat shabby condition of the public areas are a sign that it is overdue. One glass display case had thick dust in all the shelves. There is only a small bar/restaurant area, and breakfast is not included in the room rate. Our waiter at breakfast was brusque and harried, though our waiter at the bar on the prior evening was pleasant and chatty. it seems a better place for conferences than couples travel... Read more

Staff were really friendly, location was excellent. Rooms however are very dated and window mounted air-conditioning is very noisy. A real throw back to the 1980s. Rooms décor was pretty okay if you like different shades of brown!

The staff is well-trained and very helpful. The stay was not eventful and everything was as it should be. On the other hand, I usually enjoy a relaxing buffet breakfast at a full-service Hilton and the buffet at this hotel was way below typical Hilton standards. Also, the hotel's address was on Broadway but the entrance was on a different street.

I have stayed at the Saratoga Hilton many times. I really do like the hotel because of its proximity to downtown restaurants and shops. The staff is friendly and the rooms are a good size. I gave it 3 stars because over the years I feel that the hotel has aged. Some of the furniture is updated and the hotel restaurant is nice however, the room I was staying in could have used a good steam cleaning. As a matter of fact, I think the entire hotel needs one. I have been to this hotel and conference center several times in the past. It has always been about average. Some of the rooms are better than others. This past weekend I was there for a conference. My room on the 4th floor had a view of the mechanicals on the roof a level down. There was NO (zero- not even warm) hot water on either morning of our stay. 1. The night desk person was not able to resolve the cable TV issues that I was experiencing my first night at the hotel (Nov 2)- there was no cable at all. It was the final night of the World Series and I wasn't able to watch it. He offered to move me to another room but I it was a "smoking" and I didn't want a smoking room. He apparently did not leave a message with anyone else so when I tried to watch TV again on Nov 3 in the afternoon, I still had problems with the cable. Maintenance depar... Read more

After reading some of the negative reviews, I was worried about staying here. But, I thought the hotel was wonderful. Perhaps I was in a renovated room, but it was great - beds were wonderful, size was large for a basic hotel room, very quiet. People working at the hotel were very friendly and efficient. Being at a conference at the convention center, it was so convenient that it was connected to the hotel.

Room was clean, spacious. Only disappointment was the restaurant- The menu looked enticing and we were staying here for a conference that fell on our wedding anniversary. We ate at the hotel since reviews seemed favorable. The calamari appetizer was cold, breading falling off, and did not have cherry peppers as advertised, only some unattractive strips of parmesan that didn't belong there (as the sauces were marinara and sweet chili).
