Stayed here for a conference for the fourth consecutive year, and as always, the staff made it an excellent experience. My suite was spacious and beautiful, with lots of windows and natural light - not unlike a studio apartment, with a living/kitchen/desk area, and a comfortable king mattress in the bedroom. It was clean and had a modern look, and I loved the attention to detail/hospitality, from the complimentary essentials kit (q-tips, mouthwash, etc.) to the loaner umbrella in the closet, fo... Hotel rooms were clean. Staff was friendly and willing to work with my husband on an extended stay unlike other hotels in the area. Location was convenient to restaurants, parks, shopping, art galleries, spas, museums and theaters. Parking is a bit tricky on the weekends.

The staff at this hotel was top notch! I attended a Soroptimist conference at this hotel and I cannot say enough about the staff. The meals were included with the conference and the food and wait staff were excellent. Good pool and the hotel was very clean. I do recommend this location for conferences the facilities for them are pretty good. I brought my mother along and there is lots to do within walking distance of the hotel. My only complaint is that the hotel only had double beds in the room... Read more

I always travel with my dog so that I am looking for a pet friendly hotel that is not run down and smelly. This is an older location with large rooms, well maintained and friendly staff. It is walking distance to the main drag and restaurants. I have stayed here off and on over the years and it is consistently great value with a comfortable well maintained room.

The lobby, hallways, and pool areas were very nice. The rooms are basic and just ok. I was surprised to find a modem jack and no USB chargers which are pretty standard now. The room was clean but the bathroom was not... The toilet was dirty, inside of the bowl had feces smudged. There were a lot of teens hanging out in the hallway as their mothers were all drunk and loud at "Mom Prom" and I was very pleased to see security present and getting the kids into their rooms. Staff was pleasant and h... Read more

Spent the weekend in support of a Skidmore 2016 Graduation. Front desk staff very competent and helpful. All was good except for the very noisy air conditioner and the price of $250.00 a night. It is, however, well located on the main drag and within all restaurants and other attractions Saratoga Tea and Honey. Price was out of line !!!!

I stay in Saratoga Springs every year during the races and have stayed at several hotels in the area but this is my favorite. They are about a mile from the track and offer shuttle service, its one of the more reasonable hotels (be prepared all hotels are very expensive during race season), has a bar and restaurant in the hotel and several within walking distance, and is always clean. I just booked my room for this year!

I stayed at the Holiday Inn for two nights. The room was teeney tiny, the smallest hotel room I have ever stayed in. The water took forever to drain in the sink and bathtub. It was a hot weekend (Memorial Day Weekend, 2016) and the AC never could cool the room, hard to sleep at night. Kids were running the halls and throwing ice on doors at night, security unable to locate a parent or guardian. Wont stay there again.

For the second year in a row, the Saratoga Mom Prom was a success as a fundraiser for Floydwarriors, which is an organization which provides in home help to those in cancer treatment. As an organizer of this event, which hosted a "Prom " attended by 300 women, the event staff could not have been more accommodating and professional. I am updating my review. My husband and I checked into the Holiday Inn on June 3rd. We wanted to use some of his IHG points to pay for part of our room. When we were checking in we were informed that we could not partially pay for the room with points even though we told the clerk that we had done this many times before. The young man at the desk told us that he did not know how to do this. We were disappointed because it would have taken over $100 off of our bill. We were instructed to just che... Read more

Our stay was nice. You can't beat the location of this hotel. Just a short walk to downtown, so you never need your car. The room was spacious and comfortable. There was a little noise from people talking in the corridor, but it wasn't bad. The hotel is laid out a bit strangely, but once you learned the way it was fine.

I was at the Holiday Inn in Saratoga Springs for an all day conference. Being a new mom, I was very nervous about pumping several times throughout the day. When I approached the front desk they immediately offered me a free room to pump in. It was such a relief and I'm so grateful that they made the experience so positive. Jennifer was so courteous and even put my cooler in a proper fridge. Thank you Holiday Inn for being 'breastfeeding mom friendly!!'

First visit to Saratoga Springs for our family of 5 and rescue pup. We stayed in two adjoining rooms and loved the location of this hotel. The parking lot backs up to a beautiful park with fountains and a carousel. We were able to exercise our pup day and night in the park. The seating outside is really nice and the pool area was very nice as well. Rooms in Saratoga Springs are pricey no matter where you stay. Our room was older and a bit out of date, but clean. Hotel in general is better than individual room. Centrally located and an easy stroll to all restaurants. The bar was very nice and surprisingly priced. It was a great place for all of us to meet up before taking on the town. I am the owner of two small dogs and I would never impose on the other hotel guests as the people in the next room did. This is my fault not the hotels as I didn't research their pet policy before making a reservation. The number of animals at this hotel was crazy. Opening weekend at the track and it's a great location. We can and did walk to the track. Great outdoor pool as well as indoor pool. There was a small glitch when the fire alarm was pulled at 4:00 am and there was no one at the front desk and no mention of it to the guests which I find a bit disturbing we were left to fend for ourselves and evacuate with no acknowledgment from the hotel during the rest of our stay. Great location ... Convenient shuttle...awesome shuttle driver Ray. Hotel rooms are small, way over priced for racing season. Friendly staff for the most part. Housekeeping could be better. Not worth the money, better off at one of the motels in the area much friendlier and more accommodating. Had a horrible experience with security personal Pat and the situation was handled very unprofessionally and unfairly.

So having been to many Holiday Inns over the years, you can usually bet its a clean, cost effective place to lay your head. Being in the heart of Saratoga, a huge tourist town, you would expect the same. Not exactly. Lobby & restaurant were well lit and clean. The elevators, hallways & rooms were adequate at best. No "dirt" anywhere, but the smell of old stale smoke (at check in they let you know "this is a smoke free property") & lack of "light" makes you think its not clean. We will continue t... Read more

The shuttle to take us to the races was great, and the driver went above and beyond, he pointed out interesting landmarks on the way, and made sure we understood where to pick up the shuttle at the end of the races. The bar and restaurant service was awesome as well. I would totally recommend this hotel. I hope to be back next year.

Having booked this hotel through Bookings.Com I did not realise that it was a pet friendly hotel until I saw a small dog on a lead in the hallway. It seems like it's the simple things that make or break a stay, just being nice, offering a smile, or a glass a water while waiting after a long day of traveling. Well, the staff here excels at that--at truly treating you like a person (dare I say a guest?) rather than a credit card number to be fleeced as quickly as possible. The hotel is located at the end of Broadway, so very convenient to walk to everything downtown in Saratoga Springs. They are working on further remodels in the lobby and outside areas. When you walk down the hallways you will recognize this as an older hotel based on structure.
