The hotel is currently undergoing a multi-million dollar property renovation. During the renovation, guests may experience a few inconveniences as the hotel is completely renovating the bathrooms as well as fan coil units. Water service and heating to some guest rooms may be interrupted from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Friday. This Hotel should be removed from the Hilton Group! Its TERRIBLE! The first night we arrived it was around dinner time, we all decided to have dinner in the hotel restaurant. What a mistake! The service was awful, we had to flag down the waiter after being there over 15 minutes just to beg for water. He (older man) was always rushing around but didn't seem to have a handle on much. Stayed here for only 1 night during a work trip. Set in a beautiful wooded forest area, with walking trails, the hotel is really a pleasant surprise. Very friendly staff, and had some laughs with the bar tender in the lounge/dining area. Room was good and bed was comfortable; had a great view of the forest from the bedroom window. I recently visit this hotel for a family wedding. Unfortunately my room was very unclean (a thick layer of dust covered some surfaces), the AC unit did not work properly, and the bathroom door had to be slammed for it to fully close. I appreciated the free wi-fi but that wasn't quite enough to make up for the issues with my room.

Huge hotel, very friendly staff, great rooms, excellent service all around. A little confusing to find the main lobby from the access roads - could use better signage. $18 to valet the car was excessively expensive so I parked myself but all the closer lot spots are blocked off for valet only - I found that very guest unfriendly.

Interesting hotel, not a bad thing necessarily. It is in the middle of nowhere for those not familiar with upstate NY, not that far upstate, just Westchester, but for any NY local, anything above the Bronx is upstate. Back to the hotel ... We had stayed at this hotel 5 years earlier and thought it was okay. Not this time.....we checked in and room was clean and showed a little wear but first thing we noticed was that the desk chair had no cushion just a hard plastic liner......and there was no drinking glasses in the room. The desk staff was not very friendly upon arrival and absolutely horrible upon departure. They were unable to correct a billing issue! I was charged $25 on a $17 breakfast via room service. I was told the $25 was a 19 % what math ever is that possible? Getting it fixed required multiple phone calls and I had to return to the hotel to get a corrected was truly a shocking and disappointing experience.

The grounds are very pretty...the interior of the hotel another story. Elevators were old, paint was chipped, stains on the patio chairs and carpets, and no exhaust fans in the bathroom.. Nice hotel with good food. I love the pear and apple salad! I hate they don't use a fitted sheet on the mattress. If that bothers you please please complain about it and help me get hotels to go back to using a nice tight fitted sheet.

This hotel is nice with a great staff and should be considered when in the area. The food and the service are very good and received courteous service. The outdoor area is to be enjoyed and can definitely relax if you have the time.

We had booked our room two months in advance of our trip to New York. We arrived to find that the room we'd booked and had confirmation on was not available,and there was nothing they would do to right the problem since the hotel was full. The $22 hot breakfast buffet was stone cold and items were extremely slow to be replaced. The room was average at best. Bath tub was not usable due to broken stopper. This was certainly NOT what we expected from the HILTON hotel chain.

This hotel needed a make over. It was old, the rooms were not the cleanest, carpets were all frayed and AC was very loud. Parking was so far away from the hotel. As manhattanites stuck in a summer heatwave, we had the brilliant idea to spend a day at the Hilton Westchester with my visiting mom and my 3 sons. It was a perfect move! We used this hotel to attend a family wedding. Check in was fast and easy. Our room was in an outer building, and we had a long walk. No one offered to help with bell service, and the doors didn't open automatically, so it was a challenge. Room was very large and clean, but the window had several large tears in the screen which didn't look great. The hotel sits in a 30 acre site, with hiking trails that continue off the property. Well-maintained bicycles are available. The immediate patio area is beautiful with granite rock outcroppings, large umbrellas, outdoor pool, etc. Our grandchildren loved hiking and scavenger hunts, spotting rabbit, chipmunk, etc. Exceptionally friendly staff at front desk, bar, dining room, etc. However, the facility shows signs of wear - may be time for an update.

We stopped unexpectedly for the night at the Hilton and had a pleasant experience. The staff was super helpful, and as an Honors Member, we got a clean but basic room in a quiet area of the hotel. The hotel is extremely large and winds around like a rabbit warren, easy to get lost. The decor is a celebration of mid-century modern -- but then, that's back in again! The staff was great and friendly. The hotel restaurant was high on there prices but great food. The outside landscape is beautiful with a nice walking path in the back by the pool. I could not tell you what is around the hotel do to that I had only 1night stay. Over all on the short stay at the hotel is a 4 star.

From the beginning our experience was poor. We realized the hotel was extremely full due to 4 weddings. So we arrived at our room and realized it was damaged, not the lock but the door frame and there was a very poor attempt to paint over it. It looked like a drunken person kick in the door. Great stay! Location is beautiful - you'd think you were at a conference center out in the woods, but just 2 miles from the restaurants and bars in Port Chester. I was treat like a Lead Level member. Everything about our stay was poor. Never treated like this as a Diamond member. Mold in bathroom. Furniture needs replacement. Would not recommend this hotel to fellow travelers unless it was the last hotel in the area with a room.

I've been here twice now this year and both times the stays were quite pleasant. The staff are all very friendly and helpful that I encountered. Room service here for a club sandwich was overpriced but then hey, this is what one pays in this part of the US I guess for a simple sandwich. As a flight crew member, I stay often at the 'Rye Town Hilton' as we affectionately refer to it. Since its latest remodeling, it is a good facility - rooms fully functional, restaurant good with great waitstaff, courtesy van has no springs, but runs ontime and reliably.

This place is truly a disaster. The grounds are massive and I was excited (albeit also confused) while driving in. I was here for a night for a Friday evening wedding. My room was on the bottom level--smelled musty and the air conditioning was off (98 degree day) and so it smelled so bad. We were in Westchester for a wedding, and this Hilton was convenient for the event. Staff was terrific. Facility could use some updating. Other wedding guests told us stories re: early AM wake up calls they hadn't ordered, room phones that didn't work, requests for bathrobes that were agreed to (twice) but never happened, rats under furniture on the lounge level. Everything needs to be repainted and resurfaced. Other than a dirty window, we had no complaints.

I stayed 7 nights as part of a convention. The rooms are average while the grounds are beautiful. There are 2 swimming pools and the exercise room is nice. We waited well over an hour and a half to be picked up by the shuttle missing part of our convention which was not acceptable. . It is large enough to accommodate a large group like the convention I was part of but I would never pay the price to stay on my own.

The room was fine, buffet breakfast included in room price was good (and their omelette chef is fantastic) but service was slooooow, maybe because they had trouble getting people to work over the holiday. Rooms were excellent, helpful staff. Good breakfast, our waitress was so good. Used shuttle and they were great to get us to train and pick up timely. Felt pampered. This hotel has been a summer destination for family reunions every summer. Havent found a hotel near the nyc vicinity that has great service lots of greenery and indoor and outdoor pool. The only thing that needs extra attention is the outdoor pool. Water is extremly cold and Doesnt open till 10am if not later and not enough service around it

Beautiful grounds for this hotel. Tucked in just north of NYC in a very quaint area. I really only spent 6 hours at this hotel. Nice grounds... almost feels like a corporate training center that happens to also have a hotel, but well appointed and clean. Although this hotel is older and could benefit from some modernization, the rooms are spacious, well appointed and generally clean. I did, however, notice some dirt on the wall of the shower. The meals were excellent although on the high side of expensive. All in all, this remains a quality facility and one that I would happily recommend to others.

I enjoyed my stay here, the service at the restaurant was not good, I ordered a simple cappuccino and was charged $10 for a diluted espresso with a bit of milk. Other than that great hotel, I liked the flavored water in the lobby.

We had the misfortune to stop here on a night when a wedding was taking place plus a convention of the Sweet Adelines and a large family reunion. Would not stay here again. Req. for handicapped room due to having had knee replacement surgery. Upon arrival did not get one, moved to a handicapped room which had a tub. Stayed here on business... What a nice find. As we were checking in, the manager greeted us, helped us with dinner suggestions (rye grill and bar -- excellent choice). Really loved the grounds. Having stayed at this property before I knew that it looked better on the outside than the inside. The rooms are still outdated and worn. New bedding, carpet, and a chair does not cover up the overpainted and repainted areas, ceiling cracks, paper thin doors, and scuffed furniture and walls. The hotel is in a lovely wooded setting. The rooms are fine, if a bit aged, but clean and comfortable. An Uber ride to the train station is only about $9, and the train ride to Grand Central takes about an hour. The hotel is busy and that makes getting service from the staff... time consuming, but everyone is kind. The restaurant is expensive and the food is terribly bland but there are plenty of local eateries to visit or have deliver.

I spent two nights recently as part of a wedding party. The hotel is old and a little worn in a few places. Low ceilings, long corridors and cold! I went to the front desk and asked to get our heat adjusted in our room. I was told that they were still on "Summer Protocol" and did not yet have heat in the rooms! Checking in and out was a breeze. The room did not look dated to me as other reviewers are saying. The room was comfortable. Housekeeping did a great job and gave me extra bathroom amenities when I asked. I took advantage of the free hotel shuttle each day to go to and from the train stations, Rye and Port Chester. I expected to write a dynamite review for this hotel. The grounds are awesome. If you prefer quiet locations, as I do, its great. Amenities - stores, Whole Foods, etc - are close. The staff are very friendly. But.. the hotel over books! The hotel attracts large groups of drunken revelers. Checking in took 2 freaking hours! This is not a hotel I would have booked on my own based on the reviews etc... but my firm put me up here for a week to attend meetings nearby. Overall it wasn't a bad stay. The staff was friendly and attentive. The food was good. They have a full bar. The grounds are very nice. The hotel was clean but needs an update. The rooms and hallways etc... show years of wear. This was a business trip. We work conventions all over the U.S and usually Hilton brand hotels are our first choice. I am a Silver level Honors Member. Dated hotel. Room had stains on carpet, and mini fridge on a 2 hour timer. Bathroom had missing fixtures and only two bath towels. No complimentary coffee, had to pay for it. Restaurant way over priced 16 dollars for a burger.

It must have been amazing in its day, however the hotel is looking tired and in need of some tender loving care and a make over. Lots of brown and cream from carpets to walls, chipped furniture and furnishings and endless corridors which look like they have not been updated since the 90's. Great facilities, good service but the rooms are bit dated. The grounds are breathtaking and great tennis courts. Located in the heart of Westchester County and convenient to many different areas. All in all, a very enjoyable trip thanks to a wonderful staff.

I have stayed at this Hilton many times when going back for class reunions. This was the "big one" - 50 year reunion. About 40 classmates stayed at the hotel at a group rate. The renovated lobby allowed our group gathering places of various capacities and a restaurant/bar for easy meals before the scheduled activities. Booked on Priceline at the last minute with their deal where you don't know where you are booking. For the price it was perfect. Couldn't ask for a more comfortable bed. We came for just a place to lay our head for the night and the room was more than adequate for that. BIG room compared to most hotels. New carpet (tho there were stains in the room) and updates to almost all the furnishings, except oddly, the desk. It was pretty banged up and corners badly chipped. It was little things like that that makes me give it an average rating....these things made it feel outdated but there were other updates that let you know an effort was made. Room was cold no heat over charged on checkout did not have the correct name on my reservation which made check in and check out difficult. Alot of run aroumd on the phone to resolve issues. Accounts dept was helpful however

Excellent Westchester County location for suburban business visits. Attractive grounds and views from rooms. Spacious, typically laid out medium rise hotel rooms. Decor is attractive but in need of some renovations (worn carpets in halls, somewhat run down bathrooms, etc.). Meal service is acceptable for a one night stay. Very limited dinner menu. NO dining option close by.

I stayed here for a tennis tournament. It is about 10 minutes from the Tennis club and it is very secluded. I wish I had been here in the summer. They have a great outdoor area with heaters and comfortable chairs. The room was large and clean. The bed extremely comfortable. Room was very cold. After 3 calls to front desk, maintenance turned on the heat. It's 48 degrees outside. The heat needs to stay on. Room is dated, stains on the carpet and walls. Room service was fast and good.

I had a great experience at this hilton. I usually stay at the Marriott for business but the company sent me here this time. I have to admit the level of professionalism and courtesy displayed by a woman by the name of Shauna was exceptional. She was friendly and very knowledgeable. Housekeeper Marie is super sweet and Hector the chef is phenomenal. Thank you Shauna for your courtesy. I will choose hilton going forward for business.

Years and years ago this was a well run hotel. It is now poorly managed, the associated very poorly trained. There are some very nice and kind staff, and there are also mostly poorly trained and incompetent staff. The hotel is tired, the windows do not open- when rates are $140 it represents an awful place to stay but a reasonable value for convenience. At their current frequently published rates- it is a horrible value as well as a horrible experience. Stay anywhere else!

The hotel is nicely situated. I was here one night and arrived in the evening and left early morning. This check in was efficient and i was quickly able to walk to my room. Be careful when showering as the tub/shower surface becomes very slippery and actually led to me falling. Luckily I was not seriously hurt, but lack of adhesive on bottom of tub creates quite the dicey situation when showering!

We stayed here as part of a block reservation for a wedding. The entrance is very welcoming and throughout the hotel is very nicely decorated. Our check in process was very smooth and the reception staff very friendly. Our room was overly warm when we checked in due to the heat having been set to 74! This is the first time we stayed here.It's not easy to find. Driving on the road for the turnoff, it's hard to see the sign until you are just about on top of it. Everyone here was friendly & accommodating. The room was very nice. They also had free wine in the lobby on the day we arrived. Also had free champaign on another night. The TV in the room was slow to work. A delay every time you changed the cannel. Price was a little high, but worth the price for a nice hotel.

We made our reservation through AMEX platinum which is usually spot on but not this time. We were told we would have breakfast included and a cot in the room and both were not in the reservation when we arrived. It was late and we were traveling with four children and admittedly I got frustrated. However, Shauna at the front desk assured me she would work it out and beyond my expectations she certainly did. Thank you Shauna for helping us get a great night sleep!!!

Atrocious accommodation with no service. More money for less compared to the past. No service and no amenities in room. Service area closed early and room service was a joke. Early booking had no relation to room preference. Hotel has definitely regressed

First of all, avoid any room on the 100 level, think basement, also on the Honors level 200 even numbers face the traffic circle parking lot. The parking has gone from bad to worse, the lot is very dark, the spaces now taken up by the very expensive valet make the average guy have to walk.
