I visit my sister in Port Washington often and there aren't many options for hotels close by. We usually stay here, but not because of any merits of the hotel--it's more for convenience. It's pricey for what they offer--an aging physical plant whose rooms have bizarrely small windows; shlocky decorating and old bedspreads; and dirty rooms (I always encounter something gross on the floor after I check in for some reason). One plus is the breakfast, which includes hot items and good variety. I wis... Read more

Staying at the Roslyn (for our second time) was truly an experience to remember. I surprised my wife for our anniversary and the hotel gave us a free upgrade. Our baby ended up being sick so with one phone call I was able to request a crib with no problems. The hotel also had our Colbeh order waiting for us in our room when we arrived. Being that we keep Kosher, during breakfast the kitchen staff showed us food labels so that we would be able to have breakfast and enjoy. The staff at The Roslyn ... Read more

I've been there 4 nights. breakfast: bad 1/5 - it was a same everyday and eggs were terrible. room: bad 2/5 - bed was uncomfortable and heating system is nightmare. it's too loud and cannot set the right temperature. reception : 0/5 - it is the worst reception. I told them that I expected package which is important for me because it's a Christmas present to my daughter. they forgot it and rejected and send back package.

It was my first time here away from the city where I always stay. It is a quaint isolated place and is quiet peaceful. Room size is decent with basic requirements in the room. Breakfast options are limited but over all value for money.

This was my first visit to the hotel. It was highly suggested by my colleagues and close to the office. From the time I checked in and till I checked out, it was a wonderful experience! No one really likes traveling for meetings if they don't have to, but when you can stay at a hotel, who makes you feel at home, very attentive and exceptional customer service, it makes the trip all the worthwhile. Sandra and Augie were the best! I plan on staying with them again soon.

As one of several hotels we stayed in during our visit to USA the Rosslyn Hotel offered a little higher standard than most. The room was very spacious and the beds comfortable. The complimentary breakfast in the morning offered a good range of cooked and natural foods. Staff were welcoming. The decor has recently been refreshed and is attractive.

This hotel says it provides a 'Boutique experience" - I really don't think the owners know what that means. Seriously I worked 15+ years for luxury/boutique hotels and this hotel needs real help it it wants to offer a 'boutique experience" -- I would first change the hideous art deco decor to something that reflects the historic charm of Roslyn. Upon arrival, I was greeted by 2 sets of stairs that I was expected to pull 2 heavy bags up. There was no one there to assist me. Truly since I know I ... Read more

The cleanliness, amenities, friendliness, helpfulness, all exceeded our expectations. The rooms are not only spotless, they are efficiently laid out and cheerful besides. We are a special needs family who also need to be near an elderly mother so this is also convenient. Thank you so much Roslyn Hotel. Wishing you success for the long term. We'll be back as much as we can

My wife and I drove to a family event in Roslyn from Toronto, Ontario. I had fairly high expectations for this hotel. They were instantly dashed. The room was nothing special at all and the faucet leaked in the bathroom. I looked under the bed to retrieve a shoe and found some pills of an unknown nature. Clearly vacuuming was missed. I asked that our room not be close to the elevators or the "mechanicals"and it wasn't , however, it overlooked an atrium that housed the restaurant. Breakfast at 8a... Read more

The furnishing were new?? but not what i would expect at an advertised boutique hotel i guess this is what you get in this area. Furniture was all white and chrome and the AC leaked. The bar area was nice but the breakfast area was not big enough.
