We had not planned to stay here but it was the last available hotel after a disastrous start to our NYC trip and awful service at JFK car hire which resulted with us having to stop for the night instead of driving on to CT. However lovely Chris at front desk saved the day and made checked us un quickly with a smile and was incredibly helpful. The room was nice and big and had a good night's sleep. Thank you Radisson!

The Radisson is in very close proximity to JFK airport. The shuttle was timely and all of the staff was friendly and helpful. The room was extremely clean. My only complaints would be that the water in our room would not turn off and the price was a bit high for the quality of the hotel. Overall, not a bad experience.

I get that it's close to JFK, but there are plenty of better hotels in the area that would be a better option. The room was falling apart. The bathroom door didn't even close, great for privacy, and the toilet paper holder was literally falling off the wall. Reserved a king room, but got a double because king wasn't available. We called the hotel beforehand to confirm if we could park our car there long term while traveling and make use of the airport shuttle, and were told that this was an ... Read more

Love this hotel.second time stay here and definitely will be back.nice rooms clean bathroom. Great customer service from staff and management. We stay 5 days and was very content. They also have a great restaurant and bar onsite for dining in case u dont feel like going outside. They offer valet parking for a price but we found convenient parking on the streets . I recommend this place for a family getaway, and dont forget to make use of the well equipped gym.

First I'll start with the good points - shuttle service is good from JFK, free WI-Fi works and we had a late check out till 5pm. The room was tired but quite roomy by New York standards. Now for the not so good things - total lack of food and drink services outside certain hours - and absolutely no room service at all! We arrived back to the hotel at 1 am from the theatre and weren't able to get any food or drink here at all. Today we got back from a great day in New York and checked out at 5... Read more

A nice little hotel I was in for just over 24 hours after my plane was delayed. It was a pleasant stay with quiet rooms, a great breakfast selection and a gym! It also had a really nice bar that was open 'til late. It's a great place to stay for a short time, or if you need to be by the airport. Overall it was clean, simple and served its purpose, so I can't complain!

I just had a long flight from Jakarta and Abu Dhabi to reach NYC on a quick overnight layover. The Radisson JFK airport hotel was the closest and cheapest option with a great 24 hour shuttle to the airport (considering that I have to leave at 4:30 AM without calling a cab or waiting for the habitual 6 AM start for shuttles) But at $200 a night, it was overpriced. Great clean rooms and super comfortable beds, but $100 would have been fair.

Unfortunately my wife and I had to make last minute reservations at this hotel to attend a funeral service. I had called several other hotels to try to make a reservation but they were all booked. We arrived early and of course could not check in until 3:00PM at which time we were attending the funeral. There was construction going on with jack hammers right in front of the lobby so we had to come in through the loading dock. Long story short, when we did check into our room it was 11:00 at nigh... We visited this hotel to break up our journey from Las Vegas to the UK. After coming off the shuttle bus from the airport we were guided through the back door of the hotel which was swarmed with flies (this is right next to the kitchen!!!) this made us decide not to eat in the hotel as it did not seem very hygienic. The hotel itself is quite nice, with clean rooms that are spacious enough and a friendly staff. I just gave it two stars so whoever looks at these reviews will pay attention to what isn't good about the property. The things that ticked me off are things that (1) I would have noticed if I had paid attention to the small print when I booked and (2) things that I have sort of come to expect, and therefore have sort of an excuse for not noticing. Those two complaints are (1) there is no free brea... Read more

Nothing about this hotel is particularly notable. They do offer free shuttle service, but we had an early flight the following morning and wanted to catch the 5am shuttle. Well so did about 40 other people. There was only one van to take guests to the airport so they said they would make two trips only. Not everyone fit on the shuttle in two trips, so that left several passengers either having to wait for the 5:30 shuttle or find their own way there. We ended up taking an Uber as we did not have... As an airport hotel, I would think you really only need to worry about 2 things: Efficiency and Cleanliness. This place really fails at the latter. Our non-smoking room reeked of cigarettes, the bathroom was saturated with the scent of urine and there were pubic hairs lingering about the toilet to greet us upon our arrival.

Shabby, tired, overpriced hotel. Staff was not welcoming. Room was adequate, but it should have been nicer for the cost. The amenities, such as the restaurant were just not good. Our flight from Moscow had to make an emergency landing in St. Petersburg because of a medical emergency. As a result, we missed our connecting flight. Aeroflot, the Russian airline, offered to put us up in an airport hotel including free dinner for two and breakfast for two. We said, "we could sure use the sleep!"

I had a delay in my flight which caused me to stay at the Radisson at around 2 am. Mohamad from the front desk was wonderful and energetic so early in the morning I was surprised! Check in was great and he was kind enough to give me a late checkout which I desperately needed. The beds were so comfortable I went to sleep in seconds. This stay will be mentioned to my friends and family so they can enjoy the experience without the delay in there flights of course!

I was travelling through NYC but due to the flights being complicated, I ended up having a two day layover. My flights in and out were both awkward times and I didn't relish the idea of dragging my bags late at night/morning through NYC so I looked at options - for the first time - closer to JFK. I deliberated about a few cheaper options but ended up going for the Radisson as I've stayed at many others in the past inside and out of the US and thought it would be a final treat... mmm Close to t... The radisson is easy to get to. Take the air train to federal central and when you leave the station turn right and walk under the canopy to where the shuttle buses pick up. This is where the fun starts as you see all the other hotels apart from the one you want. When the shuttle arrives luggage gets stowed inside and it takes about 5 minutes to get to the hotel. Check in took about 5 minutes. There is a small room in the lobby area if you want to purchase snacks. I had a room with 2 king be... Read more

Can't knock the people that work for this hotel they are polite and responsive to customer needs. Then I remember, I'm paying to stay here. Not really a Radisson person. but driving up to a hotel surrounded by bars, I'm not going to judge, but as soon as you walk in, you can tell this hotel is in need interior and exterior renovations because it seems like an oversized motel 6. 12 floors with a view of the traffic, New York Style! The rooms had a nice flare in design with upgraded fixtures but ... Read more

I had to stay here unexpectedly when I arrived at JFK on a late flight. The Radisson was actually the only area hotel available. The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. I had a nice stay and a decent breakfast the next day. The only glitch is that I left my cellphone charger in the room, and they still haven't found it yet.

Ok for a layover but, only if there is nothing else available. A wedding party in the room opposite prevented sleep from 2am, when they decided to come back to the room, until 4.45am. That can happen anywhere but security were absent and the cardboard walls mean you hear everything: toilets, hairdryers, conversations, tv's and everything else, yes everything else, that's going on above, below and beside your room. Stopped in for a drink at the bar, which was disgusting with piles of dirty... Read more

I stayed here for 3 days and the front desk was extremely accommodating. Especially Joshua from the front desk. I can't enough about this dude. One of the rooms had a bath tub stoppage and i was a late check in so maintenence had already left for the day. When i called the front desk to inform, he apologized for the inconvenience and put me in a very nice and accommodating suite and extended the check out 2 hours for my trouble.also gave me a discount card for drinks at the bar downstairs.... We enjoyed our one night stay at this hotel. The staff were very friendly, the breakfast was delicious and the shuttle drivers were very professional and helpful. Our room was on the 10th floor and very quiet. The climatization worked well so we were comfortable. The pillows were non-allergenic.

We were responding to a family emergency. Shuttle was ridiculously late, food over priced, and quality of the room was questionable. It wasn't all bad. But we didn't need the disappointments on this trip. We'll look elsewhere in the future.

Had a layover in JFK. Arrive from Shanghai late and stepped up to reception at about 12:30 a.m. But the process of getting to reception was arduous. Off the plane, through Customs, and then a slog to the Air Train. After passing all the other 8 Terminals, we left the airport proper and headed out to Federal Circle (I think that's the name cause at this point I'm wiped from the 15 hour flight from Shanghai). Off the train, down the elevator, and on the old school phone to the hotel in order ... Read more

After a long trip from Australia, we stopped here for one night before heading to New York the next day. The hotel was easy to get to from the airport and the staff very friendly and helpful (hey Joshua). Ate at the restaurant which was basic but accomodating - we are vegetarians. Good nights sleep and easy access into the city. I'd stay there again.

Stayed one night and left my car for 13 days while traveling in and out of JFK. Hotel is very close to JFK and the morning shuttle got me to the airport very quickly. The return trip back to the hotel is a bit more complicated, requiring some navigating thru the airport to get to hotel shuttle stop. Took some time to get back to my car on the return trip. The hotel itself is clean and the room was comfortable. The hotel restaurant was basic but acceptable. Staff were consistently courteous. Over... Read more

Late night flight in from MYS which was delayed, got to the pick-up point around 1am, waited about 15 minute for the shuttle. Little delay on check-in, due to a number of people on shuttle. Staff friendly and helpful for late at night. Rooms acceptable, only issue was an iron but no ironing board. If you have an early morning flight out or late night flight in and need somewhere to crash, it is not a bad option.

Oh my...the customer service and professionalism is very low at this location. Bellman and valet are not attentive. Cost is too high for level of service received. Desk employees with the exception of two would not own the issue or try to resolve it. They passed the buck.

Easy checkin, good room and useful reasonable restaurant on site. Main issue was finding the hotel in the maze of roads around the airport. Definitely recommend a sat nav to find it. Transfer to the airport was fine - at 5 in the morning.

We left our car for 2 weeks, flew, slept one night, and drove home. You can't best the convenience & the staff couldn't be nicer. But the hotel needs renovation. Even the restaurant tables were old & scratched up. I was so sad to see the conditions at the hotel because the whole idea of leaving the car & staying at JFK is appealing pre or post flight.

We have used the Park-Sleep-Fly option to stay at this hotwel multiple times and have had a very good experience each time. The rooms are comfortable, and although the bathroom is small everything works well. The frequent airport shuttle van provides a good and stress-free start to our vacations when we stay here. And on our return our car has been at the door for us by the time we travel from the airport pickup stop to the hotel. We have used the restaurant service as well and have found the fo... Read more

This was a great place close to the airport with above average service/amenities. Was able to book this fairly cheap for one night. The staff was supper friendly and helpful, the shuttle was efficient and our room was great. For being close to the airport there wasn't much noise at night. Keep the curtains closed, the hotel has spotlights on the building.

I lost my flight to San Juan Puerto Rico by China Eastern fault (by the way, worst airline ever). So they give us this stay. Good hotel, big and clean room. Flat tv screen with cable. Good bathroom with hot water. Really confortable beds. Good staff specially in the restaurant. Good food. Overall they make a bad experience to a good one. Also airport shuttles.
