"The one good thing about this hotel is the location! Right at Times Square. However, the hotel, which is supposed to have an amazing lobby is currently under renovations, so basically no lobby and no mention of that anywhere on their website! Our room (supposedly renovated) was tiny, with a very noisy air-conditionning unit. You can't open the bathroom door and the room door at the same time!
There is nothing in the room (no mini-fridge, no coffee-maker) so if you bring stuff in, you can't really keep it. We had no glasses in our room so we tried to get some from the restaurant but NO, you have to pay 5$ tax tip to get them from room service (who by the way, did not show up when we called)...
So, go there for the location if you do not plan on spending much time in your room."

"We stayed at The Paramount for 5 days. At first first they gave us a really, really small room, but when we explained to the front desk that the room was intended for 2 people, they changed us to a somewhat bigger room.
The bed was still a bit small for 2 adults (a full), but the room at least had a lot more leg room and the hotel's location, staff friendliness and value more than madeup for the room size. I would and probably will definitely stay there again!"

"The rooms are well appointed. I have stayed in a regular queen room twice, and a corner king once. If you can get a good rate, go for the corner king which has more room, a nice sitting , and a huge tub in addition to the shower. All of the essential amenities are in the room including a well stocked mini-bar, great bathroom amenities,etc.All of the beds and pillows are extremely comfortable."

"this was our second stay in the hotel and one nice thing it had was the great lobby. TO OUR AMAZAMENT, when we got there they were remodelling it, therefore there was no lobby ( everything was hidden behind a wal)l so there was a check in desk and the elevators. it was bad none of the web pages said anything aboiut it. The staff there kept telling me it was going to be gorgeous once the refurbishing was over, but we didin't care the future then, we were there and part of the hotel had completely disappeared !! the first two nigths we had to cope with an umbearable noise coming from the air conditionig>they sent an engineer right after our complaint and as he said the solution would take some time, the following day we were moved to another room which was bigger and quieter. IWe love the hotel location and finally we felt comfortable in the improvised lobby located where the fitness center used to be.hated that staff never opened the doors to you in the evening, not even when they saw you carryng bags!"
