I was on a solo trip in NYC to see a concert. I have always loved this area of New York for the boutiques, shops, restaurants. And now I found a delicious boutique hotel to make my home base. I splurged on a corner room with a deep soaking tub and floor to ceiling widows facing east and north which lit up the room in the mornings in a very nice way. The room had a yoga mat, a very comfortable bed, it was very clean and the bathroom well lit. The staff was super friendly and knowledgeable. ... Read more

As the title suggests, the main reason for my visit to NYC was to propose to my girlfriend. I'd spoken with the team at Nolitan before I booked and they provided great advice on how I might achieve all of the experiences I would wish to set up for my gf. Not only this, but they did everything possible to help me make reservations, arrange tickets, and advise on the best places to go. The prices are inflated for this hotel. It's under a major renovation so there is no bar or restaurant. Rooms claim a balcony that is more like a fire escape. The hallways are dark and feel more like a NYC apartment than a high end hotel. I wouldn't stay here again. Overall very disappointing stay.

I've wanted to stay at the Nolitan for a few years. This time I found a good deal to get a corner suite room for 3 nights when in town for work. The hotel has an ideal location in my mind. Close to Soho. Close to Bowery/Lower east. And, right by Elizabteh Street on Kenmare. The concept is also really nice. The lobby is a nice place to sit and work or just people watch. The Restaurant is closed and the renovation process is obviously disturbing in terms of construction noice. Also, this means the... Read more

We're staying at the hotel this week. We booked this hotel for a work trip over 2 months ago. 2 days before we arrived we received an email telling us that there is no hotel restaurant and room service. Then the day before we received another email welcoming us and proudly announcing their new restaurant. Very confusing! On arrival we find that the restaurant is a building site, and that there is no room service. I'm told that it's not their restaurant, which sounds a bit weird to me. They talk ... Read more

I stayed here for 6 nights recently and was anticipating some issues after reading recent reviews complaining about the restaurant renovations and traffic noise. Ok, it would have been good to have had the option of the restaurant but, personally, I found the continental breakfast in the lobby perfectly good-and more or less what I'd have chosen anyway. When I left on Sunday, it look alike the restaurant was on the verge of re-opening. I heard no traffic noise-maybe because I was on the 9th f... Read more

Great location, Great Staff, Great Hotel. The location on Kenmore Street was perfect for getting around, especially Soho / Little Italy - subway close by, as well as plenty of great coffee shops - and of course great stores too. The staff in the hotel were very welcoming, and the rooms were furnished how you would expect from a boutique / contemporary hotel. My husband and I travel for work quite a bit so, when choosing a place to stay for play, we like to make sure our lodging well-represents the city or neighborhood we're visiting for a true 'local experience'. Although we have stayed in the city (Manhattan) several times, we had not had the chance to thoroughly enjoy this fun 'nabe' north of Little Italy and almost directly east of SOHO. Needless to say, Nolita is a premier location for pretty much anything you have planned to do on your NYC week... Read more

My husband and I spent a perfect weekend at The Nolitan. We drove down from upstate NY, found a spot right on the street (we can't believe it either), and fell right into the rhythm of the neighborhood. The Nolitan Hotel is right at the heart of Nolita (north little Italy) It's charming, with flares of luxury, yet unpretentious with friendly and down-to-earth staff. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and always have a smile on their face - something I usually get when staying in hostels or B&Bs, and NOT something you get from most chain hotels. I sometimes travel to NYC for business but prefer to steer clear of the large, chain hotels in favor of something a little different. Although the Nolitan is not a business travelers' hotel per se (e.g. there is no business center and few amenities for working in-room), the hotel itself is a delight. The rooms are modern, clean and simple. They are also very loft-like, featuring concrete ceilings, exposed duct work, wooden floors with wide planks, and plenty of natural light. I like the comf...
