It is always good to be back in The Manhattan At Times Square Hotel! The staff are very friendly and courteous and makes you feel welcome all the time. Mohammed and John are a delight to chat with during breakfast time. They are always ready with a smile and a helping hand! Thank you so much for making us feel like this is our home away from home! See you again soon ???

This hotel is in a great location and the lobby looks great, however, the hotel is old and outdated. I was in room 1128 the furniture was outdated, lighting outdated, bathroom dingy, bathroom door rusted, crack in ceiling, corking horrible job, counter tops out dated. The hallway was dim and while going to a family members room on the 20th floor I noticed the hallway had 2 different color schemes and was even dimmer. The carpet was awful. It was hard for me to pay $667.00 for two nights and... Read more

Checked in with lovely staff, got to the room and was beyond disappointed. The room was disgusting. Once mentioned, offered to move us to a new room the next day, which was a pain because we had to re pack in the morning, re check our bags, and then get settled into a new room the next night. Bellhop aggressively took us into our room and awkwardly stood there until he got more money.. which we never gave because we were offended by his behavior. Excellent location, easy to walk to everything. L... Read more

This is a useful Midtown Manhattan location but the hotel leaves somethings to be desired: we were upgraded to a deluxe room but its only chair was at the desk while there was plenty of room for a leisure chair in the room. They brought another desk chair when I requested twice. The room lacked some features one would expect such as note paper on the desk and glass glasses. The towels were small and thin. We needed attendance to both a running toilet and AC that wasn't working--staff came quite ... Read more

Stayed here with my wife for 3 nights.. We were booked on a small room at the 20th floor. Nothing outstanding with the room except foe the flat iron and board which we found very handy for our need. Hotel is packed with guests and the lobby is always crowded. Our room was never cleaned because the staff were too busy becaise of the high occupancy. But the staff were friendly, courtepus and helpful. The only perfect in this hotel is its location on the 7th street right between times square and c... Read more

Me and and my husband stayed at The Manhattan for our honeymoon in December 2015 and I cannot express how they made it the perfect trip for us, from the moment we got there to us leaving they could not do enough for us all staff are fantastic. I wanted to surprise my husband with a bottle of bubbly so I emailed the hotel before we got there to see if there was anything they could do to help me surprise my husband, I was in shock when we arrived by what the hotel had done for us they had upgraded... Dolly at the Eat N' Go Breakfast Bar was excellent both days of my stay! She was very friendly, very helpful, very personable and very responsive! She made my morning both days since I didn't have to go out of the hotel and get breakfast!!!

The hotel is just barley average. Three hallways are nicked up, wallpaper coming off and carpet needs to be stretched. Lots of bumps in the carpet. Hallways dimly lit too. The carpet appeared newer and nicer on the 5th floor where the fitness room was. Lobby and hotel entrance nice but room is in need of a lot of repairs. Air not that cold either. Room dusty and the front desk offered a very very small credit and to move is the following day due to being booked. The hotel does have a goo... Read more

Stayed here three nights as part of a bigger trip. Hotel lobby looks fine but that's where it ends. Once you get upstairs, the decor is really shabby, carpets very worn and we felt very uncomfortable walking the corridors with people loitering. Our room was uncomfortably small with nowhere to unpack our clothes. Bathroom had mould on the walls and smelled dank. In all it brought to mind the hotel where Tom Hanks stayed in Big. What made it worse was that I had to pay a resort fee, higher than I ... Read more

Hotel ok for the price. Rooms fine but overall place needs a major refurbishment. Biggest issue was checking in. Lots of tourists so long queues at front desk so you don't need to be on a tight meeting schedule. Also its a good 10 blocks from Time Square ..!

Completely excited to get to NYC and bring my 19 yr old daughter for her first visit. Never stayed at The Manhattan before we arrived and immediately greeted by a very "glad to see us" employee Mohammad. He made us feel very welcomed and took great care of us, appreciated that as a mom so excited to be traveling with my daughter on an exciting trip for us. Our room is excellent! Very clean even though the hotel is an older style still clean and fresh all the places we've been in the hotel. Gets... Read more

I'm a solo traveler who was in New York for a trade show at Javits as well as some R&R in the city. This hotel is an older building with newer amenities, awesome location, and friendly and helpful staff. Mohammad checked me in as well as out - and he was so gracious and helpful - and has a beautiful smile. I felt like a valued guest - and for the fee, I was delighted to also have a valued fee level. So close to all the action, without being IN the action, this was the best selection I could have... Read more
