I got notification that this hotel cancelled a CONFIRMED 6-night reservation the morning of check-in day, which left me scrambling to find replacement accommodations for a week-long business trip. The reservation clerk I spoke with to inquire about the last-minute cancellation spoke in a monotone, was unapologetic, and nonchalantly blamed a system glitch for the overbooking. And no, she was not interested to see the printout of the itinerary that clearly states the reservation has been confirmed... Read more

It was the first hotel of the SLH signature that didn't fill my expectations regarding to quality of the service, cleanliness and commitment of the staff to make our stay comfortable. The heating didn't work, the room smell was humid and they never offered a solution to that point. I won't recommend this hotel as a 4 star hotel deserving the qualification as aSLH, may be years ago things were different...who knows!

Very pleased with this hotel. Location is a short walk from Times Square...which is perfect since it was quite. Rooms as well as bathrooms were good size, clean and upscale. Good view of the Chrysler building from the window. On site restaurant was also convenient...had breakfast there..a bit pricey but fresh. Service staff from doormen to front desk were top notch and welcoming....felt like I was among family. Highly recommend.

This hotel was by far the best hotel I've been a guest at in NYC. I was there for three nights with a group of friends. We LOVED this hotel and its staff. The rooms were clean, the service was impeccable and the staff were over the top accommodating and friendly. Hands down, the BEST hotel in NYC. I will not ever stay at a large hotel chain in NYC again. I highly recommend it.

We stayed here for 6 nights with a group of friends. Before arrival we had contacted Vanessa at concierge and she was very helpful in organizing our transfer from the airport. As a member of SLH we were lucky enough to be given a free upgrade, the room was very clean and fairly spacious for a city hotel. We were on the 8th floor at the front and although the traffic noise was noticeable it did not affect our sleep. This hotel is ideally located within 5-10 minutes walk of Times Square, grand cen... From the moment you walk in, you know you will be pampered. A short time later, you will discover how easily you can get around the city from here. The attractive lobby includes a library niche with comfortable seating and a view out the front window. It offers several current newspapers and an interesting and varied, albeit small, selection of books. My husband and I have stayed at many NYC properties over the years, but the Iroquois was by far the best. From arrival to departure all of our expectations were exceeded. The room was spotless, the bed was comfortable and there was barely a peep of noise all night. The staff went out of their way to make you feel as if they valued your business. And the location can not be beat. Overall a perfect stay, we will be back.

Everyone who worked there was exceptional, very helpful . The room was clean and rather big for being in the heart of Broadway area. There is a cute little bar on the main floor, that was a nice place to sit and relax after a long day out enjoying the city. We were impressed!

Just spent 3 days action-packed in NYC. So happy we selected this hotel. It's a bit out of the Times Square frenzy. Staff is professional yet very welcoming and helpful. Our room & bath although small (welcome to NYC) was immaculate. Daily refresh service was great. Lovely boutique hotel experience.

We were traveling with 5 young adult grandchildren. The atmosphere of the hotel was perfect for our family gathering. It was relaxed and friendly . Everyone was tremendously helpful. We all got a good night's sleep in our quiet and comfortable rooms. I have never had a better experience at a New York hotel.

Everyone who worked there was amazing and very helpful. They recommended some wonderful restaurants! The room was very nice. There is free coffee, water and tea in the library which was nice. The location is amazing! There are many restaurants in walking distance! We did not have to drive to a single restaurant! Times Square is a short walk away!

We chose the hotel for its location, but the overall quality of the experience was fabulous. The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. It was remarkable to be just steps away from the noise and bustle of Times Square and yet have the quiet solace of a quality hotel. The staff were friendly and personable; they made us feel truly welcome! The whole staff were wonderful, but I want to especially thank Amanda and Seth for making us feel like family.

Loved the room, great colors, enough room and bathroom size for two. Check in smooth and the entire hotel staff was great. Had room service, it was quick and great food. Asked to take off the tray and didn´t pass 3 minutes before there was someone knowing at my door, loved it! Carlos at belldesk was amazing!

The Iroquois beds and pillows were excellent! I only wish I could have entered my room at or before the published check-in time so I could have actually enjoyed it more. Also, the new lamps on the lower floors looks pretty however they provides insufficient light.

That's definitely the place I'll chose for my next trip in NYC!! Can't be beaten! The only thing that could be optimized is a touch of renovation and I believe it's in their schedule... Book it, you'll thank me later!

We stayed one memorable week in this hotel. The central location is very convenient for exploring different parts of Manhattan. The building is extremely beautiful both outside and inside. The staff vere extremely professional and polite while being very friendly and went out of their way to make our stay as good as possible. Both check in and check out were very efficient, although the could have felt a little warmer. Our suite was spacious, clean and comfortable although it started showing sma... Read more

Great location, outstanding staff, comfortable clean rooms. Did not use the restaurants, but did visit both bars which were excellent. Front bar has a great happy hour which goes until 7 PM, other bars in the area only go until 5 or 6.

We had a weekend class in Manhattan and wanted to be close enough - and we were! The Iroquois is a small-feeling, boutique hotel with a very stylish room...comfortable bed and chairs...SUPER bath...and we did not feel in the least as though we were touristas - the staff was professional and kind. The only thing that kept it from being a stellar experience was visiting the bar - it smelled moldy - so, no visit!

Very friendly staff and great location to see all the attractions of New York. Only a block and a half from Times Square. Rooms are quite small with limited views but very clean and comfortable. Beds are small too especially if you are sharing it with someone but comfortable enough. No refrigerator in room which was a disappointment as it was very hot when we visited in August.

My favorite hotel in the world. Perfect size room, so clean. Everybody treats me like a friend, like a valued guest. Also a great location with all the places I like to go within easy walking or subway.
