Finding a clean, well-kept, respectable midtown Manhattan hotel for under $100 is a goal that has eluded me for a long time. The Seton is such a place. The rooms and common areas are up to date and immaculate. The location near Grand Central Station is very convenient. One bonus is the desk team who greeted me like a dear friend and extended themselves to make sure that my stay was comfortable. I highly recommend this place.

This place is perfect for the solo traveller. It is conveniently located just a walk or subway ride to anywhere you could want to get to. The check in and check out process was fast and easy. The rooms are dark but very clean and modern. An affordable mid-range priced accommodation in a sea of expensive hotel options in New York! Will stay here again!

What a lovely little hotel this is. we stayed here from 9th dec2016-12th December in room 304.Luckily we had our own bathroom but some rooms do have a communal bathroom. The room was clean and the bed really comfortable. The staff are so friendly and could not do enough for you. I loved this place and if ever back in new York will be booking here again

The hotel was clean, staff were always friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a good location, within easy walking distance of all main attractions and with grand central just around the corner, you can easily get a train or subway to things further afield. The room we had was small, however because you're always out exploring, in our opinion, that wasn't an issue. There's no breakfast facility but there is complimentary hot drinks in the morning from the lobby and there's plenty of diners and ta... Read more

I stayed in the hotel with a work colleague. The hotel was fine. However, upon return to Paris, both of our credit cards were pirated. We used only at the hotel. Calling the hotel reception, I was told that this was a problem that they were trying to resolve and that I would be called from management. Still waiting for that call.. I have been charged for 1000's of dollars and now have read that we were not the only ones to have our credit cards copied at the hotel! BE CAREFUL!!

I describe my experience, after staying 5 nights in this hotel with my husband, in pros and cons, in order to help people to decide for themselves: PROS: - Location is perferct in order to explore the city. Besides, Central Station is 5 minutes walking. - Price was not so expensive like other hotels around, for being December. - customer service is good and they kept your lugage with no cost the day you left your room. - complimentary service of tea and coffee in the morning. - modern decoratio... Very friendly staff. We were walking in the rain and met one of the staff members on the street and she offered her umbrella for the day. Room wasn't huge but it was clean and nice. 2 blocks from Grand Central station. Plenty of dining opportunities nearby. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

We stayed here for 8 nights including Thanksgiving. I booked a room with a private bathroom. It could get a bit warm in the room which you couldn't control but the room itself was lovely and comfortable. The staff were very helpful and nice. I loved the location, not far from grand central station and in walking distance of the public library and Chrysler building and we walked from The Empire State too. Would recommend to others.

The hotel is situated in a quiet area on the east side a short walk from some of the main attractions in New York City. When we booked the hotel we missed hat we had a shared bathroom although this didn't prove to be a problem, the bed in the actual room was though. The bed was small and uncomfortable and didn't provide us with a decent nights sleep. We booked the hotel as it was the cheapest of the ones available that looked good however at £150.00 a night I wouldn't book it again, I am jus... Read more
