We moved here from a theater district hotel. 100% better. This was luxurious. The concierge was sweet and knowledgeable. The rooms were bright, with nice amenities, especially for Manhattan Great location - we walked to Grand Central Station

We were in our 10th anniversary and they gave us an upgrade with a bigger and higher room. Very nice room and very well located, in the centre of NY. Very nice service, mainly in the reception desk. There is a starbucks in the hotel, you have wiffi in the lobby, not in the room.

After reading some other reviews my expectations were not super high, but I was also getting an excellent rate for a NYC hotel through travelocity because I booked a flight with them. I've had several NYC hotel experiences where I paid upwards to $400 and more only to be sorely disappointed in some aspect of my stay including those tiny NYC rooms everyone mentions and worse. The Lexington is an excellent hotel for the money. The room I had was quite spacious and clean, it was quiet (26th Fl)ever... Read more

My husband emailed the hotel prior to our stay to mention my birthday to them incase there was anything special they could do but we never received a reply so just left it at that. after a long flight travelling from england while on the plane i became unwell so once we hit jfk i couldnt wait to get to hotel.. majorly tired. We had a very nice stay at The Lexington. The location was fantastic, and its proximity to Grand Central made it very easy to get onto a train and subway. The room was nice with a very comfortable bed. We slept well and were not woken by traffic at all. My boyfriend had some work he needed to get done before our vacation, and he was easily able to work from the lobby for a few hours. Overall, we only stayed one night, and I wish we could have stayed longer!

The hotel was great! The hotel staff were great and were able to recommend nice places to eat. The rooms were small but that's to be expected in NYC. The location was great too! Definitely try Ashleys which is across the street. They have everything in there from fruit to candy to ribs!

Check in experience was fine, downhill from there. I don't think they could have found a smaller room in the building, in a far far corner. So much for being a "gold elite" member! The internet connection was not working well, call operator for more than 15 minutes no answer. Call guest services, no answer. Have to go back down to reception, person claims no one has called. Tells me to call or they can connect me to the internet service provider. Really unhelpful. Finally get the internet worki... Read more

Landed back on UK soil his morning.. After reading a few negative but also positive reviews we went with an open mind..... This was a birthday trip for my wife's 40th so I sent a short email to the hotel a couple of months before our travel date to request "if possible" a room with a view. So nothing too extravagant in my email. When we arrived and went to reception we were met with a very nice welcome as you would expect from a very organised setup, the staff certainly aren't rude they are p... Read more

My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights . Check in was easy, no waiting and we were allocated a room even though we were checking in early. We were given no information about the amenities available to us, no recommendations for dining or concierge assistance etc. Our room was on floor 19 and was small but satisfactory. It was clean and the bathroom was stocked with the required items. The room was cleaned daily and clean towels etc left. There was no tea/coffee facilities and no mini bar. Th... Read more

Located mid town , a short distance from metro . We had a room with a king size bed and roll away bed. Not huge but spacious enough for feeling at ease. Small but nice bathroom . Limited amenities . We were 3 but there was only one bathrobe, two cups... Coffeemaker in the room. Starbucks adjacent to the hotel. Fashionable and welcoming lobby, set up like a white library You have to pay for the storage of luggage (3$/bag)- unpleasant. Globally a good experience.

We stayed here for one night after having stayed a couple of doors down at the Marriott. What a disappointment this hotel was! Unfriendly check-in, and were told no upgrades for platinum members because of full capacity. Finding this was a pure delight! This boutique hotel is part of Marriott Autograph Collection--unique places to stay. This one is conveniently located in mid-town Manhattan. Our standard room was on the small side but was lovely and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. The decor modern and fun. Inviting lounge and mezzanine area--great place to relax. I heartily recommend it!

I used hotel tonight for a last minute booking during my NYFW visit. The hotel is part of the Marriott brand. The lobby is art deco inspired. The decorations are very artistic - lots of black and white. I received a handicap accessible room with a very difficult to work lock - I had to swipe the key card multiple times to get into the room. The room itself was super tiny but decorated very nicely. The bathroom was modern and very clean. The biggest complaint was the cold draft coming in from the... Read more

I travel to NYC frequently but have hesitated to book this hotel because reviewers mentioned small rooms, no free breakfast, etc. I'm so glad I decided to finally give it a try, and I'm so glad to be liberated from the experience of those generic, plain vanilla hotels where I used to stay. The room is so well designed, and the hotel is so beautiful, paying homage to history (with jazz music playing 24/7 in the lobby). Lovely furnishings, marble bath floor, deep original bathtubs, but none of the... Read more

The Lexington Marriott is but a hop skip and a jump away from the Rockefeller Plaza and Times Square, making it a suitable alternative to the Marriott Marquis. The room we were checked in to (single queen) was small and the window had an excellent view of the side of the building. Obviously not every room can be exceptional so while disappointing it was not a deal breaker for us. A far larger disappointment was finding that there was no way to have someone bring an item from the market to our r... Read more

Stayed here for a week on business. Room was probably the smallest hotel room I have ever stayed in. Bathroom was barely large enough to stay in. Front desk check-in woman was not very friendly and welcoming. Took 3 days and a note left to housekeeping to restock shampoo and soap. Breakfast in the morning was seriously lacking in terms of food (not many choices beside coffee, oatmeal, 2 kinds of cereal and fruit) and in tables at which to sit. Will not be staying here again

Stayed 3 nights at this hotel. The room was disappointing, in that it lacked many of the usual amenities such as a mini-fridge, coffee maker, or even a chest of drawers. The bathroom was particularly cramped. On the other hand, it is a charming old hotel, and the price was right (just over $150/night seems awfully good for Manhattan). The staff was helpful. Surprised (but forewarn by reviews) that I had to pay simply to check baggage for a while.

The location is great for business. It was a quick 10 min walk to Times Square if you want to get some sight-seeing squeezed into your trip. Very limited breakfast options, but if you are a Marriott Elite they have a very small breakfast layout in the morning consisting of fruit, oatmeal and bagels.

Booked via HotelTonight phone app. On arrival check in staff were distant and aloof. They gave the impression that they did not appreciate rooms booked via such discount websites. Was given a tiny room (1606) judging by the floor map on the fire escape plan on the back of the door. Crowded small lobby with a less than enjoyable bar area. Not to mention ridiculous prices for poor service and quality drinks. Most NYC hotel, even the nicer ones, feel a bit cramped. Not the Lexington. The rooms are spacious, and recently refurbished, so the rooms are not only large, but they are clean, and well cared for.
