Stayed here 4 times now. Great staff, lively bar, handy Starbucks and great location for all things Noo Youk. Smith & Wollensky is one minute walk away. 24 hour deli across road for when you need filling at 4 am. Upper floors better. Lifts old but never had to wait long. Gym is OK. It's an easy place to stay, always consistent and good cocktails ahead of a night on the smash.

This hotel has a great location in Central New York city. The room we had was very large with a view of Lexington Avenue and 51st. The bed was excellent the linens for superb and the TV was of a great size. The bathroom is very nice The toiletries or good. The staff could not be nicer and more helpful check in with fast check out was excellent they were able to get us a taxi without any trouble. The breakfast for elite customers was out standing everything you want it fresh juices fresh fruit ... Read more

Nice location.. Rooms are small, but one of the best priced Marriots in NYC. Tea and coffee in lobby, plenty of places to eat within walking distance. Great service at the curb, checkin was adequate. The location is "small", however well kept, gives you a cozy feeling. Nicely decorated.

Really good quality hotel. Public areas were very nice, staff very friendly and helpful. Our room was exceptionally clean, nice bathroom. All the furniture was good quality and the bed and bedding were very comfy. The TV was great as we could log into our Netflix account. Wifi was free and decent speed. It was a bit noisy even though we were on the 14th floor, but what do you expect in such a central location ? Hotel was easy to find after a day of exploring. Free coffee in the lobby was nice.... 3 nights spent here between Christmas and New Years. Fantastic staff, comfy beds, quiet corner room. Super close to all of the NYC fun. Cant wait to return!! Great coffee bar anytime of the day was a treat. Lobby entertainment in the evening added to the atmosphere. I would highly recommend a visit here!

This is a nice hotel for a couple visiting NYC for a day or two. It is not a "family" hotel. It is not a good place for a business stay. The room was small but cool and stylish. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly. The breakfast was really good. Then lobby has a hip atmosphere. The location is convenient. The history of the hotel adds some mystique. However, I would not bring kids here. I would not stay here for business. It was loud outside at night and I slept poorly. Kids... Read more

I have stayed at this hotel on two trips and have had to move rooms on both occasions. On the first visit, the room on the first floor directly faced the restaurant exhaust fans, meaning when the window was open, the room filled up with oily smells. Second trip, I was placed in a room next to the elevator shaft, which meant I was unable to sleep all through the night due to the loud mechanical noises. Bathroom water was dark brown in both the shower and sink. The hotel represents all that ... Read more

Great location great building The bed was comfortable and a king size however that is the only positive thing I have to say. The hotel staff seem keen to please business users but not the tourists. The bar tender was inattentive so we took ourselves elsewhere to spend our tourist dollars. I expect great customer service there was none at all. The room had cardboard cups in the bathroom, a bath which could not be used as the plug area was damaged and dirty. The room was dirty for example there i... Read more

I have stayed at the Lexington couple of times. The location is great, bang in mid town. The rooms are clean and the staff are friendly. Since apparently Marilyn Monroe used to stay in this building, it has many themes inspired by her. The breakfast for the elite members is a standard Marriott fare. There is water and coffee available 24 hours at the concierge. Overall a fine property!

The hotel is in a great location, somewhat old, but nice refurbished rooms though rather small. I had a stay planned which I missed the first night due to a snowstorm, the manager kindly waived the charge after I sent proof my flight was cancelled, very unexpected and very much appreciated. There is a 24 hour coffee and bottled water available which is very unusual for NYC and a great perk. Staff is great.
