I came with my girlfriend the first time to New York. We were welcomed so nice by the door man and the front desk. The room was very nice and location of hotel perfect. All staff very friendly. We had one breakfast at the hotel - that did not meet our expectations, but the General Manager promptly got involved and solved the problem. Thumbs up!! We will be back :)

Clean, updated hotel, on a quiet street (for NYC), staff was amazing. Valet people were all smiles. I will stay here on every visit to NYC from now on. The water pressure was great, which is not the case in many NYC hotels. The bedding was new and spotless.

The hotel demonstrated an exceptional approach to offering Omni guest services during our stay to celebrate our 33rd wedding anniversary. When it was learned that we were married there 33 years ago (ceremony in the incredible 21st floor penthouse and reception downstairs), the hotel surprised us with an upgrade to the penthouse from the Berkshire King suite, also gorgeous lilac roses, Moet champagne, balloons, wedding confetti, vouchers for brunch, and made sure we signed up for the Omni guest ... We stayed here for a week to celebrate my milestone Birthday .. We would stay here again as it was so central and the staff helpful.. We stayed in room 903 which was at the rear of the hotel and therefore nice and quiet which made for a good night sleep away from traffic noise ( although no view of course ).. Fab stay ?????╗

We stayed at this hotel while in the city to see a baseball game and were so happy we did! The hotel is perfectly situated, walking distance to Time Square, Rockefeller Centre, Central Park and the subway. The rooms were large by NYC standards. We had a corner suite that connected to a double room which works very well for a bigger group. The living room in the suite was huge! My friend and I were there with our two young sons and the staff went out of their way to accommodate our boys. Th... Read more

We've just returned from a 5 night stay at this hotel very happy with our choice. The location in midtown is fantastic, the room was at the back of the hotel and was clean, well appointed & spacious. The air con, wifi & beds were excellent, the staff were friendly & very professional. We really could not have chosen a better hotel for what we were after. But unfortunately the reviews of the attached restaurant were not good, so I found with a little research on here a number of good value option... Read more

I like staying here as it is central to everything. The hotel is nice and the rooms large for NYC. The only thing I don't like is their bar and a very limited late night bar menu, but everything else is good.

We stayed there last weekend with our teenage daughters. We also brought our dog along because the hotel is pet friendly. There are rooms on each floor that are particularly good for families because the rooms are a joined by a small hallway. The hotel is large enough to offer all services but small enough to give great personalized service.

We have just returned from a 5 night stay at the Omni Berkshire Place, NYC and the holiday was incredible. The hotel was in a great location and was spacious, modern and clean. The complimentary wifi worked perfectly and the evening turn down service was a lovely touch. Both of the concierges were extremely helpful; recommending and booking restaurants for us in our desired locations. They even printed out some etickets for us that we couldn't use our phone to access. The doormen were super frie... Read more

All the staff, from on the door, to reception and room maids were efficient, helpful and friendly. The hotel was well appointed and clean. The only downside for us was that we were in room 334 at the front of the hotel and suffered from road noise and also air conditioning throughout the night.

This hotel was a great value. The location was excellent. Easy access to Broadway shows and restaurants and shopping. Central Park and other attractions were a quick walk or subway ride away. Concierge was very helpful in getting to where we needed to go. Would definitely stay there again for a weekend get away! The quality of the room was great and larger than what we are used to in Manhattan.

Nicely refurbished hotel in the heart of mid-town. Close to Rockefeller Center, Central Park and Grand Central Station as well as numerous subway stations. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. I had contacted them in advance to let them know we were celebrating a birthday and they brought us cake, chocolate milk, cookies & bottled water along with a note from the concierge. There is a small cafe across the street (Isadora's) that is quite good with reasonable prices.

If you are an experienced traveller and have seen many Hotels, do not go there. The Hotel is in urgent need of a renovation. Rooms are small and carpets are smelly. I have stayed at this hotel before and have never had an issue. This trip was a bit different. The initial room we checked into was wet from a bathroom flood in the room above. The room was promptly changed which was great but the new room needed a better cleaning (grimy bathroom) and there was an empty booze bottle under the sink, which I noticed in the tub. We asked for a late checkout (2pm) which they wouldn't do until after we spoke to the manager. The bellman was also not very pleasant when... Read more

I knew we would be in for a special treat when we walked in the hotel lobby: beautiful flower arrangements sat on top of the lobby table, bringing a sense of serenity and luxury that is just perfect and balanced. This is the hotel if you want to guarantee a flawless NYC stay: the location is unbeatable, the staff is friendly, the rooms are extremely clean, and although you're in the middle of everything, you get to relax in the quiet well-appointed rooms. Bedrooms and bathrooms are larger than u... Read more

This hotel is situated perfectly for those who like to explore midtown Manhattan. Rooms are comfortable and front desk service is first rate. New steakhouse restaurant will be opening in September 2016. Terrace on the 17th floor. Definitely recommended.

The Omni Berkshire has a FANTASTIC location, HUGE rooms by New York Standards, luxurious comfort, great rewards program and above excellent service. The Concierge Service was top-notch! Take their recommendations - you will not be dissapointed. This Hotel offers great value and quality. I could not recommend it more highly!

We just loved the location of this hotel. The Omni is not a huge hotel, which we liked. Also it's a bit off the main track where all the tourists are, but close to the subway and buses. The hotel is in the midst of redoing their restaurant, so there was no place for breakfast, although they did bring us coffee and we could order a continental breakfast. When we go back to NY, we will stay at the Omni again.

Luxury hotel in a great location near everything but not in the middle of tourist craziness. Very fairly priced for the cleanliness, attentiveness and amenities. Impeccable service, spacious rooms/suites, beds to die for, bathrooms that are spotless, cozy but upscale meeting rooms. The staff welcomes you "home" every time they see you and treats you like royalty. I lost a ring while I was there and the hotel staff and management went out of their way to make sure it was recovered and to do eve... Read more

As a life long New Yorker, now living in Florida, this has become my hotel of choice when in New York. You simply cannot beat the location. You're out the door with Fifth Avenue to the right and Madison, Park Avenue, and Lexington to your left. I love it's size and the layout of the Lobby with the Concierge and elevators tucked away from check in. The best are the rooms, a great size with everything you need, space to spread out and super bathrooms. My new home away from home. Cynthia

We choose the Omni due to its location in respect to Broadway, Times Square, 30 Rock and Central Park. When you think of a NYC hotel, this is your spot without footing the extra $$$ you would at the Waldorf or Ritz. From the doorman upon entering to the very elegant furnished rooms. We had a great stay and will stay here again when we return. Nothing but great things to say

Very bad experience, couldn't regulate water temp in shower and got burned, then electrical outlets in bathroom were non functional, light did not work on makeup mirror, lighting in bathroom in general is very poor. Hotel needs a refresh and basic maintenance is lacking.

This is the 5th OMNI I have been to and they are always top notch. Sign up for loyalty program and get free wifi. Also when you get to a certain level you get 2 free beverages in the morning. Small touches make me feel welcome on every stay. Oh and I think that OMNI goes above and beyond on their pillows. It kills me when hotels have thin hard foam pillows. The OMNI pillows are always fluffy and comfortable.

The Omni Berkshire Place is perfectly located in midtown Manhattan. I cannot say enough about the location. Located right on the corner of 52nd and Madison, you have shopping galore in every direction...you are four blocks from Rockefeller Center and four blocks from Radio City Music Hall...although you are only around the corner from a Neuhaus Belgian Chocolate store, which has to be one of my favorite places in the neighborhood. There is also a Fig & Olive restaurant, which is great for lun... Read more

We had stayed at the Omni Berkshire many years ago, and came back because of a low price offer on July 30, 2016 (under $200). The doorman and bellman were very efficient and professional, our room was modern, fresh, clean, and comfortable. I deducted one star because we called on our drive to NYC at noon to find out if our room would be ready when we would arrive at 2PM. The front desk clerk could not commit, and told us to call at 2PM. We had options of checking in at 2, or shopping first, so ... Read more

Excellent, comfortable hotel in Midtown - well located, nice staff. Comfortable rooms, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Would happily recommend. Decent gym but no pool. Staff very accommodating when we needed to borrow a space for a meeting at short notice.

Situated on 52nd between Madison and 5th Ave, a perfect location. Walking distance to the theater district, Times Square, amazing shopping, restaurants(upscale and fast food), subway stations, and the Grand Central Station. (if you want to travel on train) The staff was excellent! Especially the front desk and everyone behind the concierge desk.

Couldn't ask for a better location. In mid Manhattan you have various options for food, entertainment, and exercise. The resturant inside is being remodeled and will now be Bob's steakhouse, give it a try!

Been here a few times. Great location. Room is nicely appointed. Love the free coffee delivered to my room in the morning. A bonus these days ???. Nice lobby. Comfortable bed and room. The only thing I would change is adding more lighting over the desk area in the bedroom. Very dark as it is! We will return and do recommend.

2 adults, 1 teenager, 4 nights beginning of July, City View Package Pros: Clean rooms, comfy beds, good location, the early morning doorman. Cons: We booked a 'City View package', and were given a lower floor looking straight into an office block/dentists and up/down 52nd, not high up on Madison as we'd have expected for a city view. Frustratingly seemed like the hotel were on a cost saving mission regarding extras included in your package, these should automatically be offered and/or confir... Read more

I stayed 3 nights to attend a conference at the hotel. The location is great specially if you need to move around midtown. The rooms are a little bit dark, they don't have much natural light and they don't have enough lamps to compensate. The rest of the things went reasonably well although the two restaurant reservations I did through the concierge went wrong but I could have been the restaurants messing up, difficult to know. They managed well the packages I bought before my arrival.

We were a group of 6 girlfriends and were given the suite and an adjoining deluxe room. The deluxe room had 2 double beds while the suite had a king sized bed with a separate living room with a sofa that converted into a queen bed which enabled all 6 of us to be very comfortable during our stay. The rooms and bathrooms were very clean and we were given plenty of towels each day. The rooms and bathrooms were a very decent size for a hotel in Manhattan. We also appreciated the complimentary cof... Read more

Coming from California, New York has always intimidated me. The fast-walking people, honk-happy yellow cabs, and its East Coast sophistication made me feel a little less at home. This was my fifth trip to New York City, and the first time without my husband. I knew that our accommodation would set the tone of our stay, so I had a little trepidation before arriving since I picked the hotel for my friends and me. I met with my lifelong college friends who flew from different places across the Pac... Read more

Check in was 3pm and at 5pm my room was still not ready. Wasn't given the rooom I paid for. On our second day there we returned at 5pm to find out that our room was never cleaned that day. Room had dust in it like the maid had never dusted!!! Not four stars at all. The only good thing was the location close to Rockefellar Center

I spent a long weekend in NYC with my son at the Omni Berkshire. I cannot compliment this hotel enough. They took care of everything so well and truly made us feel "at home". The staff is OUTSTANDING and really take pride in being gracious, welcoming and friendly. Also the little touches and the loyalty program made it that much better. I will stay at this property again both for business and pleasure.

I was on a budget, and wanted to be within walking distance of Central Park and Grand Central. I also wanted a lot for my money because I am used to nicer, upscale hotels. I was not disappointed with my stay at the Omni Berkshire. The service was first class, the hotel room was nicely appointed and clean. Nice, and quiet. The staff was gracious and friendly. I would recommend this hotel to friends and family.

We had a wonderful stay at the Omni Berkshire in NYC. The room was lovely, spacious and with a most comfortable bed. Staff from start to finish were warm, welcoming and pleasant. The cost was very reasonable for NYC especially taking advantage of pay in advance discount. The best part was a surprise bottle of champagne and dessert tray to celebrate our 35th anniversary. We will return.

Bathroom was on the small side, but but had a magnified lighted make up mirror, which is a plus for me. Plenty of towels and toiletry products. Bathrobes, too! Safe in the closet.
