Very friendly staff and a beautiful view of the newly built tower. The subway is extremely close. Department store, Century 21 right next door. The rooms are spacious and the beds comfortable. We got a great deal and I would certainly recommend the hotel for the great price.

Went for granddaughter's birthday present. The view from our small suit was the Freedom tower and the 911 memorial grounds. What a view! The Windows wrapped around the suit and we could see battery park too. The room is not large but it was comfortable and quiet and the staff was great. The weekend was wet and cold, but since the subway (R) line was literally out side the main enterance on church street, it was easy access to the whole town. Battery park is about six or seven blocks away. Great... Read more

This is next to the World Trade Center Memorial and several subway entrances so it is an ideal location especially on the weekend when Wall Street is closed. During the week it is better to wait until after rush hour to travel. The hotel is very nice and well maintained but the restaurant is over priced and since we ordered from the menu rather than do the $28 breakfast buffet, it took a while to get the fritatta and refills on coffee. There are a lot small delis in the area to get a good brea... Read more

Executive Floor with lounge access is best of the best, you feel really home in the sky on top of New York!!!

Great location, great view from the room (WTC view). Room conditions: The room needs renovation. Aside from the view and the Hilton brand name, I cannot quite tell the difference apart from economy hotels. The TV is very old. Long Waiting Time: Took almost 30 mins to check in... as a Diamond member. The Elevator: Somehow, during the first day of the stay, only one elevator was working. As a results, long waiting time for elevator (another ~ 20 mins). My floor was 46, and at one point I was... Read more

Loved the view from the 50th floor! It definitely helped make the experience a positive one. Walking distance to the Brooklyn Bridge and One World Trade Center. Subway station situated right in front of hotel. However customer service was not consistent. I was charged additional expenses which was a pain to correct.

my recent stay was less than pleasant, small rooms, run down carpets and furniture for almost 500$ a night. You feel you rather checked in into a profit centre instead a hotel. The pool (one of the main reasons for my pick) all old and run down. The pics on the website are probably 10 years old. The breakfast room has the charm of a cantina in a midwest retirement home. the food quality the perfect match. I will certainly not come back!

Honestly I give the hotel a 9/10. I just wish they gave a better parking accommodation. It's NYC but parking is important. If your going to charge parking it should be cheaper than the surrounding areas or at least allow for unlimited in and out on vallet.

Room- I had a wonderful king room located on the 47th floor near the elevators which offered me a beautiful city line view towards Freedom Tower and river views. I enjoyed sitting at the window with a bottle of wine and watching a beautiful sunset. The bed was very comfortable but the pillows were too soft so they became very flat during the night. Nice business district hotel location. Convenient to the E, A, C and R lines. The rooms with two beds are situated at either end of the hotel....I was in room 3201. The elevators share a common wall with the bathroom. This bank of elevators to the right is an 'express' elevator where it doesn't stop at the lower levels. First stop is 31 and up. So there is a zipping/vroom sound heard every time the elevators go up or down. I mentioned the noise to the front desk. I was informed that they... Read more

I stayed here on a business trip and it is the most convenient hotel if you are working at the WTC. Literally a 2 minute walk. The hotel is very clean and the staff was amazing. The room size is pretty big for NYC. The pool was nice and the business center was good. The only downfall is that there is no fridge. There is a mini bar but it has pressure sensors so if you remove pop cans to put your own items you'll need to talk to the front desk to have it reset.

After a long flight arrived at 2.15 in the afternoon to join a large crowd of people waiting for rooms to be available. Eventually got a room at 5.15pm and I was leaving at 5am next morning! No apology, no bottle of water (I forgot to use my Hilton Honours number) - nothing. Obviously routine and not enough staff to clean rooms. In general hotel was busy and noisy with disinterested staff. Not my usual Hilton experience although room big for NY.

This is not a typical 5 star review: My wife and I came here for the second time last month for our anniversary. We had our 2 year old with us, and my in-laws were in a separate room. I booked through booking.com and the hotel charged me (fraudulently) around $300 extra... I received my receipt at check out and did not expect extra charges days later added to my credit card. Don't remove drinks from the in room fridge, their sign clearly states "don't use this fridge for your own items". And prepare to spend $75 per day for parking in their garage, not allowed to use it throughout the day.

The hotel is in lower Manhattan a block from the 9/11 site. The hotel itself is nice, the lobby is nice, a decent bar and friendly staff. The rooms are rather large for the city, but the hotel is not as modern as some. You won't find the amenities like electrical outlets in night stand, there are very few outlet overall. But the views make up for whatever it lacks in modernity. You're close to subway stops and only a 20 cab ride to mid town or upper Manhattan. There's plenty of nearby food, both... Read more

We love the Financial District and have been staying in that area for the past five years whenever we visit New York City. We thought we would stay at the Millenium Hilton this time, since the reviews were good and was close to subway stops. Checking in took more than 15 minutes, as it was busy and they only had two clerks. The upgrade we had hoped for was unavailable. They did not offer us water like other Hilton properties have done since we are Silver members. Then we had to wait for ten minu... Read more

The location of this hotel can't be beaten and if you get a room pointing in the right direction, amazing views are available. The interior of the rooms feel quite old now however. I booked a Junior Suite with views in 2 directions and it was reasonably spacious, with the living area and the sleeping area separated by a corridor past the bathroom - a good setup. My spouse and I stayed at the Millennium Hilton for two nights in mid-August 2016. We reserved our room using the Hilton website. The Millennium Hilton is located in the Financial District, directly across the street from Ground Zero/World Trade Center/National September 11 Memorial, and St. Paul‚??s Chapel. The neighborhood is busier on weekdays than on weekends, when nearby Financial District offices are closed. The Millennium Hilton offers more than 470 rooms and 100 suites spread over 55 fl... If I could give a zero stars to this hotel I would. I am a HH Gold member and frequent traveler (and a professional woman traveling by herself) but I have never been subjected to such stress, sexism, and humiliation as at this hotel. I also have a disability of which I informed this hotel, requesting a particular kind of room - a simple request, really. I was given the exact opposite and then could not get an answer from reception for over two hours. I was sitting on hold for an hour, I had to g... Read more

The purpose of this NYC was my birthday. The location of #Hilton Milenium is perfect if you desire to be near the 16 acre #WTC memorial site. One World Trade has the most extrodinary view of the all 5 bouroughs, NJ and beyond. If you pay a little extra, your room can view the entire #WTC complex and the #Oculus transportation center. This hotel is more about location than luxury.

After a long flight and journey over from the UK I was hoping the room would be ready on arrival at circa 2pm (on a Monday). That was too much to ask for and I was told to leave my number and come back at 3pm. At over $400 a night and being a Silver Hilton Honours member you would have thought they could have found a room and I am guessing they were not at full occupancy on the Sunday night so bizarre nothing available. This is an older hotel with a decent location. It's busy! But we still got good help and directions from staff. Just ask! We had an easy in and out and our room was clean and quiet. It is a great location for the 9/11 Memorial and for access to many Subway lines. I would stay here again... for the right rate. But I think next time I'd like to try a more hip place in a cool neighborhood. Now I know!

We took a family trip to NYC and wanted to stay way down town. The Hilton had a good deal and we took it. The room was large with views of the then-built new WTC building. The area was a bit cramped with tourists, but no worries. Lots of places to get food, and the hotel stay was great otherwise.

Speaking of 1970, the low point was certainly the lack of outlets near the bed.
