The minute you enter this hotel it feels like luxury. The hotel was beautiful and clean. The staff was very polite and helpful. My favorite part as usual was the pool in the penthouse with an amazing view of central park. I would also recommend trying brunch at Norma's which is in the lobby of the hotel but you must make reservations in advance as it can get really crowded. The style of the room was basic but still neat overall.

This centrally located hotel is close to both Central Park and Times Square and has the nicest room I've had in Manhattan thus far in the price range. The bath products are excellent, with ample towels, a nice flat screen TV and a Starbucks right across the street. I will definitely stay again.

My wife and I just returned from NYNY where we stayed four nights at Le Parker! Our stay did not include a great deal of time in the hotel as we were exploring the wonderful city of New York! We did, however, enjoy the geographic convenience, outstanding service, and comfortable privacy when we were in our luxurious room! In fact, our room was so appealing, each morning getting up and dressing for the day was more of a crawl... taking our time enjoying the peace and quiet not found once we left ... Read more

This hotel was a great location. Very nice and clean. Located next to a great little super market on 57th. The only drawback is that the larger family style rooms are located close to the elevators and you are a light sleeper, the elevator noise will keep you up at night.

An old guard hotel with beautiful lobby areas and bar with soaring ceilings and arches reminiscent of an old European Church. Some of the rooms could be updated but very comfortable in any case. What sets this apart for me was the service. House keeping was always around when I went out in the morning and several times adjusted their routine to clean my room immediately because I mentioned I was only going downstairs for a coffee and was coming back to the room to stay in until later. I travel a lot, and stay at many hotels and resorts and this one is my absolute favorite. Where to begin..well the junior suites are simply amazing. The beds are the perfect height and softness, and the pillows are perfect. The room service is more than great! I treat myself to the fillet at least once each visit! Norma's is great, and the hidden burger spot is definitely worth checking out, no free refills on sodas, but it's worth it. The location is perfect, it's not too close to T... Read more

Have been coming here over twenty years and now the best that can be said is of the courtesy of staff and great location. It needs a facelift and soon; the rooms and facilities are tired and faltering. A grubby pool with attendant eating the whole time, the ladies bins overflowing with discarded food mixed with old towels tossed on the floor. It was filthy. The mini bar with fridge not working, faulty hair dryer about sums it up. So many details which, if attended to, could reinstate this hotel... Read more

It's a bizarre mash up of no frills offerings and luxury rates. There are too many better options in New York to accept such a poor price/quality ratio. No frills: no evening turn down service, no robe or slippers in the room, no bottled drinking water, no daily newspaper, no shoe horn, no shoe shine, there is no closet (just a rod concealed by a curtain), an airplane-sized bathroom, exterior windows were filthy. It feels like a budget hotel. Of course we can all survive without the typical l... Read more

Great location- near the park, Times Square and midtown. Great lobby. Rooms are a bit odd. The hotel staff put the temperature of my room at 70 degrees everyday even though I made it a bit higher. Rooms design is a bit stark and the bathroom is dated. However, the bed is great - slept like a baby! TV had a good selection of channels and the internet was easy to use. The service of the hotel was great and the staff was always helpful. Not my favorite hotel but not a bad choice if... Read more

Le Parker Meridien is a nice hotel in a great location. We stay here with our family of 4. Our room was a king bed studio with sleeper sofa in the living room. It was a huge room for NYC and the bathroom was NICE! There is a mandatory $15 resort fee for pool, wifi, and gym. We were aware of this when booking and didn't use any of the resort amenities.

The only thing that really stands out about this hotel is the location (3 blocks away from Central Park). I am a NYC local and was here for a work function so the proximity to the park didn't matter to me. I've spent enough time in upscale hotels to recognize one that this is certainly not one. The rooms are dated and are in desperate need of an overhaul. The size of the rooms are small, but finding reasonably sized spaces in NYC will cost you an arm and a leg. My wife and I had a really good time staying at this hotel! It was so centrally located, only a couple blocks from central park, had incredible views from the rooms, had a pool on the roof, and great service all around!! My only real complaint was that the pool closes at 8:45pm on the weekends... most nights we didn't return until 9pm. This was also the only place we received less than exceptional service. I really liked Le Parker Meridien. The location cannot be beaten - mid-town and literally a couple of blocks from Central Park and only a short walk from Rockafeller, the bustle of Times Square, and numerous restaurants close by. There is a subway station at either end of the street and so easy to get downtown (the R line on 7th Ave will take you all the way to Cortlandt Street for the 911 museum, Observatory etc - exiting inside the Oculus, WTC hub which is worth a photo or two. (Which means in compare with some other hotels in this area, Le Meridien may have some down sides) 2. Upgrade was generous for SPG platinum. Came in the night before for a Mon morning meeting. Had a perfectly reasonable plan for a business traveler's evening comprising gym, room service, and watching Ballers. Plan utterly thwarted. Gym closes at 8pm on a Sunday night, bland, overcooked salmon from room service, and--get this--no HBO. Is this a Residence Inn in some podunk town? I'm staying elsewhere.

A great hotel to experience the complete "Manhattan Lifestyle". The hotel is in the heart of Manhattan and it's about 2 blocks from Central Park. Manhattan's Billionaires' Row is considered to be along 57th street which is one street over from the hotel. In NY for a theatre weekend before a conference. Nice location - walked to theater, restaurants and ran one morning in Central Park. Lobby has a hidden hamburger place with a cult following. Guests can avoid the line by calling in orders from your room. Accommodating and helpful lobby staff. Basement has a salon that blows out hair, and another does manicures. Also a juice bar and workout place. A favorite of those who live in the city.

Very courteous checkin with minimal waiting time. I think I was just lucky as this hotel seems to be used heavily in the summer by family vacationers cashing in SPG points. Public spaces and bedrooms have been modernized successfully except that bedroom carpeting remains dull and boring and bathrooms remain small with a tub only, no walk-in shower. No complimentary bottled water in room. $15 per day facility fee is in my opinion reasonable given the quality of the gym and swimming pool.

Location is great. 56Th and 56th between 6 &7th. However, lobby bar, the only bar is narrow and part of hotel entrance. Not even close to enough space for a 700 room hotel. Also pool on 42nd floor with dynamite view- but again no bar there. What a lost opportunity. Staff was friendly. Room layout is strange. Tiny, almost non existent closet. But lots of dead space in room that could've been used. Little storage space. No coffee machine. Had to ask for robes. So overall not at all experience w... Read more

The size of the room was great! We had a king-size bed which was separated from a living room by a half wall. There was a pull-out bed in the living room so we were able to have the kids stay in the room with us. The room was clean and the bed (and sofa-bed) were comfortable. I would stay here again.

From the check-in to the check-out, staff were always ready to assist with your needs. Great location just minutes from Central Park. This mid-town location is ideally suited to take advantage of your theater and shopping needs. Very good dining is available in-house. Rooms were very spacious by NYC standards and were well appointed. Only complaint was the lack of Starbuck's coffee in room.

We stayed for four nights. This is marketed as a mid range priced hotel. I actually found it extremely plush and luxurious- so definitely worth the money. We came here as part of a BA package. It was a perfect location, we found our room pretty quiet (bearing in mind it's New York). The shower was superb , and it was within a short walking distance of everywhere we wanted to visit. Everyone was super friendly despite it being a huge hotel. We would definitely visit again. Two slight comments....... Read more

Good, convenient hotel with nice finishes and a modern touch. The location is very good for accessibility to midtown offices, and could also serve a leisure shopper well as the prime retail is close by. My company's office is several blocks away -- I would stay here again for the convenience.

Had the privilege to stay with my family at this hotel for four days and the stay was delightful! The entire stafff from the door man to the life guard were very courteous! The hotel is just a few blocks away from Central Park and not too far from Times Square. The food at The Burger Joint (located by the lobby) was delicious! Got a chance to enjoy their indoor pool and ordered a few drinks and appetizers. Make sure to pass by the penthouse the view is out of this world!

For Upper Midtown (south of Central Park), this is a well situated hotel. Lobby and public areas are renovated, but the rooms are a little tired. As Platinum SPG Upgrade we were happy to get a junior suite, but noted that there was still only a large shower (no bathtub). In any event, good stay and kind staff. Enjoy the private burger place, but get ready for queue...Good luck and enjoy!

Amazing hotel in the center of Manhattan, next to Central Park, Carnegie Hall, great restaurants with easy access to all of the boroughs. The hotel staff have always been super professional and nice. The rooftop pool is great for relaxation and the gym is fully equipped with classes and high end equipment. The basement has a blow out hair salon, nail salon, organic cafe, and beauty bar. The hotel has an amazing burger joint that is a gem.

Stayed at the Parker annually for more than ten years. Wrote a review about how helpful staff was when I dealt with an unexpected kidney stone a number of years ago. Came this year and was placed in a room that had feces and blood on the bathroom door. Took pictures and showed them to the front desk. They did send someone up to clean it but no offer to move rooms. Very sad to see how much service has changed.

Not only I went through a horrible stay due to all sorts of issues: technical (uncontrollable A/C), very poor comfort, poor room conditions (noise, dirt, etc.) but my jewelry (worth around 15k) was also stolen the day I checked out. I can‚??t tell what exactly happened but it was in my luggage when I left my room to go check out and get my car, and then it was gone after the staff/valet brought my luggage down to the lobby. Once again, Le Parker Meridien was the perfect home away from home for us in New York. With the rooftop swimming pool, subway lines 1/2 block away in two directions, a few blocks' walk from Central Park, just minutes from MOMA; and, since the weather was nice, we even walked 15 minutes to both Broadway shows we went to. What's not to like?

This hotel is well located, around the corner from Carnegie Hall and a short distance from Central Park South and Columbus Circle. It is modern and very clean. The beds are comfortable and the staff is very helpful. The only complaint (if one can call it a complaint) is that it is tough to get a taxi out front; though the doormen do their best. I'd stay here again.

My wife and I just spent three nights in Manhattan and stayed at Le Parker Meridien. This is a very nice hotel and is close to all major attractions. The hallways are a little dated however the rooms were very clean and the bed was very comfortable. Items in the lounge and room service is rather pricey but there are plenty of places to get a beer and eat all around this location. I would definitely recommend this hotel. Nice hotel, loved the pool and the burger joint for kids, perfect combination. Our room was super basic, no mini bar, no tea/coffee service, very Don Draper minimal design but we booked through Hotwire and were super happy. Loved the location as we needed to be close to Times Square but definitely didn't want to stay in it. It has a non touristy upscale feel if you can deal with the super basic room. The hotel has a fabulous situation close to central park and a lot of great features. So let me list these - first - I noted the location, it has one of the best breakfast places in New York. The downside of that is the lobby can be very crowded. The Nave bar is a wonderful gothic spot to soak up NYC vibes - but ir has a street entrance and is used as a thoroughfare to the hotel. The coffee was great and the waitress delightful. I am a SPG platinum and it does not offer breakfast which was a... Read more

I really enjoy Le Parker Meridien. Their rooms are bigger than other area hotels. I like a separate workspace when traveling for work. From the moment I walked up the hotel the first time I could tell they had all the people they need to hire to run a hotel, they were just not properly trained. On a great block close to Central Park and midtown. The lobby is cool but a bit impersonal and cavernous, and the building and facade all seem a bit corporate. But the staff is attentive and the rooms and halls much nicer. I particularly like the lighting and the blue lit door plates, which give a very intimate/romantic ambiance.
