The minute you enter this hotel it feels like luxury. The hotel was beautiful and clean. The staff was very polite and helpful. My favorite part as usual was the pool in the penthouse with an amazing view of central park. I would also recommend trying brunch at Norma's which is in the lobby of the hotel but you must make reservations in advance as it can get really crowded. The style of the room was basic but still neat overall.

This centrally located hotel is close to both Central Park and Times Square and has the nicest room I've had in Manhattan thus far in the price range. The bath products are excellent, with ample towels, a nice flat screen TV and a Starbucks right across the street. I will definitely stay again.

My wife and I just returned from NYNY where we stayed four nights at Le Parker! Our stay did not include a great deal of time in the hotel as we were exploring the wonderful city of New York! We did, however, enjoy the geographic convenience, outstanding service, and comfortable privacy when we were in our luxurious room! In fact, our room was so appealing, each morning getting up and dressing for the day was more of a crawl... taking our time enjoying the peace and quiet not found once we left ... Read more

This hotel was a great location. Very nice and clean. Located next to a great little super market on 57th. The only drawback is that the larger family style rooms are located close to the elevators and you are a light sleeper, the elevator noise will keep you up at night.

An old guard hotel with beautiful lobby areas and bar with soaring ceilings and arches reminiscent of an old European Church. Some of the rooms could be updated but very comfortable in any case. What sets this apart for me was the service. House keeping was always around when I went out in the morning and several times adjusted their routine to clean my room immediately because I mentioned I was only going downstairs for a coffee and was coming back to the room to stay in until later. I travel a lot, and stay at many hotels and resorts and this one is my absolute favorite. Where to begin..well the junior suites are simply amazing. The beds are the perfect height and softness, and the pillows are perfect. The room service is more than great! I treat myself to the fillet at least once each visit! Norma's is great, and the hidden burger spot is definitely worth checking out, no free refills on sodas, but it's worth it. The location is perfect, it's not too close to T... Read more

Have been coming here over twenty years and now the best that can be said is of the courtesy of staff and great location. It needs a facelift and soon; the rooms and facilities are tired and faltering. A grubby pool with attendant eating the whole time, the ladies bins overflowing with discarded food mixed with old towels tossed on the floor. It was filthy. The mini bar with fridge not working, faulty hair dryer about sums it up. So many details which, if attended to, could reinstate this hotel... Read more

It's a bizarre mash up of no frills offerings and luxury rates. There are too many better options in New York to accept such a poor price/quality ratio. No frills: no evening turn down service, no robe or slippers in the room, no bottled drinking water, no daily newspaper, no shoe horn, no shoe shine, there is no closet (just a rod concealed by a curtain), an airplane-sized bathroom, exterior windows were filthy. It feels like a budget hotel. Of course we can all survive without the typical l... Read more

Great location- near the park, Times Square and midtown. Great lobby. Rooms are a bit odd. The hotel staff put the temperature of my room at 70 degrees everyday even though I made it a bit higher. Rooms design is a bit stark and the bathroom is dated. However, the bed is great - slept like a baby! TV had a good selection of channels and the internet was easy to use. Le Parker Meridien is a nice hotel in a great location. We stay here with our family of 4. Our room was a king bed studio with sleeper sofa in the living room. It was a huge room for NYC and the bathroom was NICE! There is a mandatory $15 resort fee for pool, wifi, and gym. We were aware of this when booking and didn't use any of the resort amenities.

The only thing that really stands out about this hotel is the location (3 blocks away from Central Park). I am a NYC local and was here for a work function so the proximity to the park didn't matter to me. I've spent enough time in upscale hotels to recognize one that this is certainly not one. The rooms are dated and are in desperate need of an overhaul. The size of the rooms are small, but finding reasonably sized spaces in NYC will cost you an arm and a leg. My wife and I had a really good time staying at this hotel! It was so centrally located, only a couple blocks from central park, had incredible views from the rooms, had a pool on the roof, and great service all around!! My only real complaint was that the pool closes at 8:45pm on the weekends... most nights we didn't return until 9pm. This was also the only place we received less than exceptional service. I really liked Le Parker Meridien. The location cannot be beaten - mid-town and literally a couple of blocks from Central Park and only a short walk from Rockafeller, the bustle of Times Square, and numerous restaurants close by. There is a subway station at either end of the street and so easy to get downtown (the R line on 7th Ave will take you all the way to Cortlandt Street for the 911 museum, Observatory etc - exiting inside the Oculus, WTC hub which is worth a photo or two. (Which means in compare with some other hotels in this area, Le Meridien may have some down sides) 2. Upgrade was generous for SPG platinum. After trying several other hotels in the area, gave Le Parker Meridien a try - great choice, will be saying there going forward. Stays at other hotels included rooms that were so small you had to walk sideways around the room to not run into furniture - Le Parker Meridien's rooms are spacious. Other hotels included constant city noise to wake you up through the night - not at Le Parker Meridien. Came in the night before for a Mon morning meeting. Had a perfectly reasonable plan for a business traveler's evening comprising gym, room service, and watching Ballers. Plan utterly thwarted. Gym closes at 8pm on a Sunday night, bland, overcooked salmon from room service, and--get this--no HBO. Is this a Residence Inn in some podunk town? I'm staying elsewhere.

A great hotel to experience the complete "Manhattan Lifestyle". The hotel is in the heart of Manhattan and it's about 2 blocks from Central Park. Manhattan's Billionaires' Row is considered to be along 57th street which is one street over from the hotel. You can see a lot of NYC tourist attractions within walking distance - Radio City Music Hall, The Museum of Modern Art, Times Square, Rockefeller Plaza, and even Madison Square Garden if you're motivated. I would give the hotel 4 stars, but add in the customer service and I'm giving the hotel 5. 4 for the room -- room was adequate; extremely quiet and clean (loved the bed and the super white sheets); good "free" wifi signal (free but you pay $15 a day for pool, health club and wifi access so "free" is a misnomer). I have stayed in NYC a few times, where I appreciate the city is noisy, I don't appreciate staying in a room that sounds like you're sleeping inside the metro station. I feel sorry for the people lower down, we were on 19th floor & we could hear the trains running every couple of minutes.. Clear as a bell. I found this hotel to be very dimly lit, from the corridors to the bar. I had a job to read the drinks list! My daughter is a tall 16 year old that shared a room with us, the put up bed they g... The only negatives I can find for this hotel are that they don't provide slippers/robes and the elevators are slow. Other than that, I enjoyed my three night stay here immensely. My room was quiet, the bed was incredible, and every staff member I encountered was genuine, friendly and warm. Best part of staying at Le Parker Meridien was our decadent breakfast at Norma's and delicious cappuccinos and cocktails at Knave. However, anyone who stays here should understand the food and beverage selections at both Knave and Norma's come at a high cost. In NY for a theatre weekend before a conference. Nice location - walked to theater, restaurants and ran one morning in Central Park. Lobby has a hidden hamburger place with a cult following. Guests can avoid the line by calling in orders from your room. Accommodating and helpful lobby staff. Basement has a salon that blows out hair, and another does manicures. Also a juice bar and workout place. A favorite of those who live in the city.

Worst hotel in NY I've ever stayed at. We were notified by the hotel before our arrival that we were entitled to a suite upgrade because of my husbands Starwood tier. On checkin Vlad who is the most unfriendly and inflexible women you could encounter at checkin told us that as our standard room was on a high floor that was our suite upgrade. Very courteous checkin with minimal waiting time. I think I was just lucky as this hotel seems to be used heavily in the summer by family vacationers cashing in SPG points. Public spaces and bedrooms have been modernized successfully except that bedroom carpeting remains dull and boring and bathrooms remain small with a tub only, no walk-in shower. No complimentary bottled water in room. $15 per day facility fee is in my opinion reasonable given the quality of the gym and swimming pool.
